I have been very happy with it and its ease of use. Pros Ease of calculating COGS. Also, it's integration with Square Register is excellent Cons Wish it integrated with Squarespace. Pros Owning a craft business it is hard to find methods of maintain inventory levels, when I found craftybase I tried the trial and loved it. In addition to the ease of use, everytime I have a question I get a fast, professional response with an easy solution to my issue. Cons I can't think of any other than it does not integrate Etsy shipping labels. It will download but you have to associate it to the sale. It is an easy process. But if you neglect doing it it can take some time to catch up. Reason for choosing Craftybase It offered craft makers an option to maintain inventory, when I found it years ago there was nothing else. It's so simple to use and if you do have a question you get a reply quickly. I wouldn't even entertain using another company. Pros Once you're set up it's so easy to use. My inventory is always on hand. I couldn't function without Crafttbase. I've made my end of the year so much easier for myself and my accountant. August 27, 2019 5.0 I can keep excellent track of inventory, profits and other finances, and pull reports at any time for taxes, stocktaking and more. Pros I love how I can keep track of all my inventory on hand, everything that has been sold, my profits, pull needed reports, automatic uploads and so much more. Cons It is a little confusing in the beginning but within 2 weeks, I was majorly loving this program. Alternatives considered [Microsoft Excel](https://www.capterra.com/p/176574/Excel/) Reason for choosing Craftybase It was a lot more time consuming and confusing keeping track of everything on my own using excel especially when some inventory is quite large. They even turned one of my suggestions into a feature and then made sure to tell me so I could use it! I really think you get a lot of value with Craftybase. Pros We manufacture bath and body care products and have increased our private label customer base which means there are more things to track. Craftybase keeps us on track with inventory, material inventory, orders and expenses. They are always trying to improve the software and add suggested options. Cons There isn't really anything I like least, but I do wish that the sales channel's variations would match up with the variations I create in Craftybase so I don't have to manually adjust every order to reflect the size. Their customer service has been on point....always quick to respond, friendly and professional. It's been easy to keep up with my expenses and profits for taxes too. Pros It's pretty easy to use. I love that it keeps my recipes and shows when an ingredient is getting low or even the whole product so I can schedule when to restock. I am also thankful that it shows my costs in making each product along with showing recommended retail & wholesale pricing, as well as what my profits are. Cons Some of the features can be confusing. For me, the stocktakes have been too time consuming, so right now it's not my favorite. Reason for choosing Craftybase Soapmaker was suggested by a couple of other soapers on a Facebook post, but I only have Apple computers that will not run on that program so a friend suggested that I try Craftybase and I'm very happy that I did. As a first time craft business owner, I needed an easy set up to make sure I was doing my orders, materials, inventory and accounting correctly. Pros This was very easy to set up and get started. Easy to see what I have available at a glance, who has ordered and paid. The reports I’m able to get is so helpful. The help section has solved some items I didn’t understand. I make products that require multiple levels of inventory tracking, and had been looking for software to help me accomplish this for months. When I stubbed upon Craftybase, it was almost too good to be true! The software is easy to use, is detailed enough to be incredibly useful for my business, and automatically syncs with most of my sales channels. It's awesome. I can't recommend it enough. Cons The product variations are useful i some situations, but tricky in others. Craftybase makes the least fun parts of my work so much easier! Pros I love how Craftybase helps me to track inventory and allows me to set reorder triggers when I approach minimums for stock on hand. It's easy to track manufactures, identify ingredient batches, set pricing for different customer categories, and price/create new, bespoke products using ingredients in the system. Cons Since I leverage less popular outside software, I sometimes have to wait a little longer for integrations that are relevant to me--but there hasn't been anything I've pined for that didn't show up as an option as they continually expand their offerings. Cons Probably the price. It does get a little pricey, so I’ve had to say no to some of the features I really wish I could utilize, like the batch # feature. However, I believe it’s because the software has so many options for you. Customer service has been awesome and now I depend on it completely. Pros Calculating your cost of goods and time spent to make your products. Let you figure out where is the best defend your time. Also allows you to calculate prices for multiple platforms Cons System doesn’t calculate cost of goods on product that was built prior to starting the software. I understand the reason, however, it makes the first year a little difficult to easily get your taxes together. You'll be pleased to hear that it is possible to calculate COGS on products that were manufactured before you began tracking with Craftybase - you can do this by setting a Starting Adjustment for the product, or you can alternatively backdate your stock changes as far back as you wish to include your past manufactures. Pros I love how crafty base to make everything so much easier with managing my supplies and my cost of good sold automatically based on the supplies I enter. It integrates with Etsy it makes it seamless and super easy to manage my business . I'm so grateful it exists! Pros I like that it's specifically made for small/micro businesses that make their own products. There's a lot of other inventory software solutions out there, but they're all for larger businesses with very different needs and as a result have a lot of complicated features that small business owners don't need and will be overwhelmed by. Craftybase is the only software that has the exact features I need, including integrations with my sales channels (Shopify and Etsy). Cons There are sometimes glitches and errors however support is usually pretty good about responding quickly and making fixes/corrections in a timely manner. Review Source TL Torie L. September 2, 2019 5.0 It has easily allowed me to see my P&L without having to track it in excel, as well as for tax time helping me with my COG. Pros Its so easy to use. Doing my invoices, receiving, doing inventory is all a breeze with this software. I can import my recipes and it links to my Etsy page with no issues. Each item has a very clear view of what you are in stock, low stock or out of stock on, and you can record when you manufacture, keep up to date with what your product costs vs how much you make, and its all just great! Cons The only thing I wish, is as I am a company of me and my husband, is that I could do lot #s with one of the lower cost options.
