Pros The organization of the platform is not overly complex. I need Concord specifically to notify me when contracts are about to expire. Cons Having to manually update a contract term if the contract automatically renews. I used to arrive in my office to stacks of paper files for signatures. Sometimes I wouldn't visit that particular office for weeks. Staff would try to find the right office at the right time to get my signature. With Concord all that is eliminated, digitally signing documents revolutionized my contract signing experience. Well done Concord. Pros I move between various offices and documents chase me from place to place for a signature; sometimes I sign the same contract twice. With concord that problem is eliminated. Pros Fast and simple. Easy to use and doesn't require prior training to use the service. Cons I don't like that when in the process of editing a document you lose internet connection, your edits are not saved and then you have to make the changes you planned to make from the beginning. This is very annoying especially if you draft the document from zero, and the whole draft disappears. Happened to me twice:( I understand that there is a save button, but people don't always want to apply the changes to the main document. It additionally has integration with Hubspot which is our main CRM and we are excited to explore how this can help add to its usefulness Cons There are some status' on contracts that are auto generated that have caused some confusion and I wish there was a way to edit them. All contract management systems have pros and cons, but Concord is the best I've seen... so far. Pros Most liked features are: 1. Bulk Importing existing contract portfolios into Concord 2. Search function - fast, accurate and easy to use 3. Sharing contracts with others is very easy and secure Cons Largest complaints are: 1. Records of draft contracts can not be changed to "signed" where a contract is executed outside of Concord. So if I started drafting and negotiating a contract in Concord and then had the final contract executed by way of a scanned copy or even DocuSign I have to create a new contract record in Concord. All negotiation history, internal / external discussions, etc are lost. This is one issue that is preventing wider adoption in my organisation. 2. Editing template contracts in Concord does not support features lawyers are ordinarily accustomed to. E.g. unable to use autonumbering in templates, unable to use indenting of template documents well. This become annoying when importing a Word or PDF document to create a template. Not all documents will import correctly, yet the native text editing features do not allow a user to 're-create' the form and structure of the original document as a template. 3. E-signature solution does not provide enough flexibility a signing request to be forwarded by an outside person (i.e. counterparty) to an authorised signatory. Concord's native e-signature solution kind of assumes the person who I share a negotiated draft document to is the person who can sign for that company. In an enterprise environment, this is not always the case as company's have rules on delegated authorities. 4. E-signature solution is limited in fields required to complete execution. End user signing experience is ok but not great. Reason for choosing Concord Primarily the search feature and the ease in setting the system up. Cons The document management should be improve in the future but it is very ok for now. I'm sure it has more capabilities than I've fully mastered at this point, but it is pretty much meeting all of our contract management needs. Pros I like the ease of gathering signatures and adding in fields for signatures or entering information in contracts in different locations, when needed. I also like the storage of contracts in one place and the ease of searching for and finding contracts. Cons I wish the fields could be automatically aligned. For now, you have to manually try to line them up. The only other thing that I would love is if once we saved the contracts to a specific folder where all contract management staff had access, that they could link those contracts to other contracts without having to go in and specifically join the document. My position entails a little bit of everything...HR, Finance and Accounting, Business Development, Proposal Management and Writing, Contracts, etc. Before Concord, I would try to keep track of which contracts I needed to write/update/get signed using Excel spreadsheets, but since I wasn't in Contracts Mode every day or even every month, I'd get lost and have difficulty remembering when something needed to be done or where I had been in the process. Concord makes it MUCH easier to keep track of the whole lifecycle of my contracts. Pros I love the ease of creating new contracts from templates, of getting contracts signed electronically, and how easy it is now to see what's coming up for expiration. I also LOVE the customer service. I got the software, because it was inexpensive for my small business, but the customer support that comes with it is impressive! They are always available to answer my questions, to teach me more about how to make use of the features, and to guide me through better ways to use the software. August 25, 2021 5.0 Concord has made contracts more streamlined and integrative with our Salesforce business processes! As every document is stored not only in Salesforce but also in Concord we do not need to worry about back up copies in our server. I am so happy that Oberd. It is really easy to keep track of all your contacts that you send to be signed because Concord emails you when someone signs or leaves a comment. The best feature is that we can save templates so we can edit and bring information from Salesforce , making our process really smooth and avoiding manual mistakes! Pros Salesforce integration was easy and quick. Most important, very easy to use Concord via Salesforce (Send to sign, attachment is added automatically in Salesforce Notes, etc.). Also, I like to enable the track history in the template level, so I can check what was changed in the document not only in the draft but also when we send to sign. In addition, I like the chat/message into Concord platform where customer can edit the document (redlining) or ask question avoiding emails. Cons Something I would like to have as a feature is to chose which field must be completed by a External guest, for example, if I have more than one external guest signing the document I cannot specified who needs to fill out a specific field. Pros My favorite features are the one-place contract storage, electronic signatures and reporting. Since we have clients all over the world, before using concord we often struggled with not having a fixed place to store our contracts. But now we can bulk upload or store a large number of contracts in this software, and the e-signature feature allows us to collect signatures from all over the world whenever and wherever we want - it doesn't get much more convenient than that. In addition, Concord offers customizable reports to view monthly contract progress, etc. We rely on this for many important decisions!
