Pros: It is easy to view all databases and other services (such as Redis and Elastic Search) from their dashboard. You can see some high-level information that makes management easy. Their API is also very easy to interact with to programmatically create such deployments.

Cons: Some of the documentation can be a little vague at times, but if you are using this service as a way to host databases, and if you don't require advanced use cases, then this is not a big problem.

Overall: If you are a small company and you don't want to spend a lot of time setting up database hosting, Compose is a great way to get started and move on. Ideally, you can set it up here and only have to interact with Compose sparingly.
