Time to Pet helps me to manage my clients, their schedules and needs, documents and schedules. My bookkeeper loves the integration and mileage tracking. While there’s room for improvement, overall it’s an excellent product for any business that offers pet services.

Pros

Scheduling, billing, mileage tracking, even integration with Quickbooks. Great features like flags and other notifications. Clients love the reports I deliver. There is continual development to make sure it’s an exceptional product.

Cons

The web software is absolutely fantastic. Most things are east to find. That said, the actual app leaves a bit to be desired in terms of actually scheduling clients. I’d like to see the ability to modify clients in the app proper, as well. Why have an app if you want people to use the website?

If you're the owner of a pet sitting business in this day and age, the fact is you need software. Time to Pet has been INDISPENSABLE in growing my business. It pays for itself hundreds of times over. My original clients switched over from pen and paper to TTP with no hassle. New clients are always amazed and comment how professional the software is. And on top of that, the customer service is phenomenal. They run a private Facebook group for TTP users and it is the most supportive and helpful environment. In the rare chance that you don't get an immediate response, another community member will help you out. In brief, TTP saves me so much time by automating everything from scheduling, to updates, to invoices, payment and managing employees.

Pros

Ease of use, and all the amazing functionality that shows it was built by pet business owners, FOR pet business owners. And the customer service is unmatched.

Cons

The "package" feature is the least intuitive part of the software from my (and my clients') experience. It's difficult to understand so I just don't use it.

It does take a while to learn everything. Expect it to take a few months. But customer support is good.

I run my whole company off of it

Pros

Client portal allows for clients to update, pay see schedule and send messages. Invoices are formed right off of the schedule

Cons

The software is Not available off line which makes it difficult when I am out of cell phone service.

I opened my pet sitting business in 2002. I always used a paper calendar, but as the business grew it took more and more time to schedule clients and sitters. I had tried several different pet sitting software companies, but always found them confusing and difficult to use. And then I found Time to Pet. With Time to Pet I spend so much less time on scheduling and creating invoices. I have a much better picture of how the business doing. Adding credit card payments through Time to Pet has greatly improved cash flow. And the best part is that my clients love it too! Katie Casell Dances with Dogs, Inc.

Ease during the client intake process, invoicing couldn't be easier, and the customization I can provide on the backend to really pull the info we need to work safely with our customer's animals.

Pros

I like to call it the Cadillac of pet industry software. It's intuitive, modern, and easy for our dog walking clients to use.

Cons

The cost is a little high. This year our overhead exploded and I often wish technology didn't run as expensive as it is. In addition to TTP, I also contract with a timekeeping software so my employees have something to clock in and out of. These two softwares add up!

This software has helped my business immensely. I love that there’s training videos, support, a users guide, the ability to have control over my clients accounts vs having to contact support and never get a reply.

Pros

Everything, I was using different software prior to this and it was horrible.

Cons

That it uses most of my battery before noon. However the overall experience has been great besides that.

The support staff is amazing and goes way above and beyond to consistently improve the software based on clients' needs and requests. They have made my life so much easier by having everything I could possibly need/want to make my business successful. I am so lucky to have found TTP!!!

Pros

The scheduler and ease to contact clients through their portal. When clients schedule their own visits directly. When I receive Alerts that someone is late for their visit.

Cons

That the invoices do not have the day of the week on them-drives me crazy! I realize that it is linked into QuikBooks but wish it could be bypassed.

First, it is a software specific to our industry. We were using Access desktop and this is by far superior.

Cons

Oh gosh, I really don't have anything negative to say about this software. Maybe, it does so much it is hard to keep up with everything it offers? Not really a negative.

The customer service is incredible. Creators are listening & adding services to fit users needs constantly. Adding systems I didnt realize I needed and now can't live without.

Cons

All that this software lacks is the ability to be applied to organizing other parts of my life. When is Time to Family software coming out? I'd buy!

Pros

I think Time to Pet helps you save time by making scheduling clients, invoicing, communicating, etc so much easier.

Cons

There are lots of features with this software so there is definitely a learning curve to be able to use all of its functions to the best of its ability. However, with time you will operate it like a pro. Their customer service is great also.

Being a pen to paper girl, I was concerned honestly about switching to an online software. But I LOVE it! The support team at TTP have been there for any questions or needs I've had. Being a fasts growing company with a current client base of 300 and 5 employees, it has made my being able to keep up with everyone easier! I love having everyone in one place! I would highly recommend Time To Pet to everyone!

I don't see where there are any cons at all with this software Cons I see FOR THIS REVIEW PAGE, is it doesn't have a PET CARE Industry for you to choose which is what my business is and DOESN'T HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH TTP SOFTWARE!!!!

I had a pet sitting business for over 10 years with 70+ contractors. If I would have Time to Pet software 10 years ago, I would have never sold my previous company. I just restarted my new company House and Hound Care a year ago and it is much easier to manage our sitters, scheduling and invoicing.

Pros

It is a complex tool to run my business but it is very easy to use. I like the invoicing and the gps tracking the most.

Cons

I wish it would be less expensive since I am planning to grow my company and I will use more sitters.

Customer service is lightning fast! The software was great at the beginning but the owners are not content with that. They keep making it better and better. I can't wait to see what additions they make to Time To Pet in the future.

Pros

The software is very modern and up to date. It is very intuitive which makes training new staff easy. The schedular has a great calendar with drag and drop capability. Everything is integrated so nothing falls through the cracks. Our customers have also enjoyed using the software. The software encourages customers to leave tips when making payments. Where we weren't getting many tips before we now get lots of tips. The software has more than paid for itself just in tips!

Cons

Since we pay our employees by the hour including travel time between visits we would like to see the tracking of travel time integrated more automatically into the software.

What I like most is its GPS feature, my clients love the added security of knowing when their pet sitter has arrived or that their dog walker actually walked the dog.

Cons

That things like dog breeds are not pre-loaded. and there is no import function, say if I want to load products or vets. No pos feature.
