Pros Time to pet is a great piece of software for pet sitting businesses because it allows all client information (both pet and person) to be in one place accessible for all employees. All critical information is kept here so there are no problems with pet care. The mobile app is very smooth to use. Cons One problem is editing fields and scheduling things from the mobile app. They can be very finicky and it's usually better to do these tasks when on a full desktop. This is somewhat annoying. The suggestion, the help articles, literally everything is perfect! Pros There are so many great things, I have already learned and I have barely scratched the surface! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this program, it is so easy to use and the developers have literally thought of everything! Their customer service is phenomenal, I get fast responses to my questions and they have always solved my issue (it's always been my lack of computer skills). Everytime I learn a new feature I am amazed that it's there. As a the owner of a new pet sitting business I could not have found anything that would have helped as much as this program. Each time I would review software, there were too many problems or too many features that were not intuitive. While I own and operate a dog walking & pet sitting company, I am also a digitally based artist. My skill set gave me the ability to recognize that a switch to most new software would be a waste of time and could jeopardize my business (and pets). A missed visit or employee confusion cannot be risked. I even tried MindBody (horrible experience). One night, I found Time to Pet on Captera, read the reviews and signed up for the free trial. The design is intuitive. While the features are abundant, they are not confusing. The product is quite intuitive. They release new features monthly too! The best part - kind, professional client support. This software was designed with the eyes of a pet sitting company owner and a developer. You cannot lose with their combined expertise. Feeling like my business matters, that my needs matter is icing on the cake. Time to Pet will enable my business to grow. April 22, 2018 5.0 Pros She Loves My Dog, a dog walking & pet sitting business, has been using TTP for a few months now. It has been a great tool for our business. TTP comes with many great features that allows one to run the business very easily & conveniently. Great software for scheduling, invoicing, receiving payments, managing staff, and much more. It also comes with a knowledge base section that is easy to understand and learn from when not sure of something. Communicating with TTP directly is also very easy and always a quick response. The feedback from our clients have also been positive, they enjoy what the portal has to offer. Cons Don't have any dislikes about this software. January 25, 2018 5.0 Pros The scheduling is quick and I love the way events can be moved by click & drag. Communication with clients and staff is in one place which helps prevent anything from being overlooked. It also helps separate our business and personal lives.We have been in business for 15 years and used a different scheduling software for 7 years. Switching to TTP was one the best business decisions we have made. We also love the support staff. They are always professional - helpful and polite. Cons Since each Pet Sitter is charged to use the software, it could get pricey to use compared to other schedulers who charge differently. We have a small business so this doesnt apply to us. Pros Syncs with Quickbooks and Google Calendar. Can’t beat the customer service and help when you need it. It makes keeping my calendar and invoicing and receiving payments easy. It is my client management software database as well with the ability to run a myriad of reports. Cons There is a little bit of a learning curve when it comes to some things but there is a good help area built into the app and the “real person” support is excellent. Pros The ease of use for me and my clients to schedule in pet care requests, and the system even creates and manages invoice nearly automatically! Cons Cannot (yet) block off just a few hours here or there when you and your staff may be unavailable (i.e. closed on one given day for a company wide event), but you can block off entire days, which is very helpful. June 11, 2020 5.0 So far it's kept my appointments in order and kept me from double booking anything which I had problems with before. It also has a great messaging system for reminding clients of their appointments. Pros It emails me every morning to let me know how my schedule for the next few days looks. I love that because I am absent minded. Cons It costs money. That's really my only negative thing to say about it. I don't make much as a vet tech. I found that Time to Pet was the best software because of its overall functionality and ease of use for admin and pet sitters. The calendar function is what sold me on the product from the beginning. Since then there have been many updates to the software that just make the system that much better. The calendar function looks and acts just like a Google calendar, which is EXACTLY what I was looking for. You can even export the calendar to your personal Google calendar. The communication portal between sitters and clients is amazing as well. It helps all sitters who are assigned to a client and admin stay in the loop in terms of any changes to the pets, strange happenings around the house and overall client comments/communication. The invoicing part of the system links to QuickBooks, which makes accounting a snap. Overall I give this software a 5 star. The only complaint from clients is that the scheduling function on their end can be a bit confusing for people that aren't very computer savvy. It is probably the easiest to use in the industry, but generally, competitive products are really confusing.
