Pros

I like the advanced analytics and the ability to manage multiple accounts.

Cons

I don’t like that it’s sort of a learning curve. It took me a little while to figure out and the dashboard can look a bit cluttered.

### "TweetDeck: Tweet and Forget About It"

January 3, 2019

4.0

TweetDeck is very helpful and convenient. It's taking the guesswork out of Twitter. If you're like me, and you're particular about how things are scheduled, you'll like TweetDeck. You can schedule your tweets to post at certain times. This is great if you've got a great recipe or something to post. Save it and schedule for 5 p.m. when people are getting off work and heading to the grocery store. If you constantly want to boost your engagement on social media but don't have time to tweet, let TweetDeck do it for you. TweetDeck goes beyond just scheduling, Tweets however. You can view different categories which helps you keep an eye on what's happening in certain areas. If you like local news, you can keep an eye on that in one category. If you want to see what you yourself are tweeting, there's also that option. TweetDeck will also show your home page and your notifications. The search feature is also great and can devote a whole column to that users that you're viewing. The only complaint is that TweetDeck is a little confusing and it does take some time to get used to. There's quite a few columns on mine and it took me a while to figure out that I had to scroll all the way to the right to see them. It works better on a bigger screen opposed to my tiny phone screen. I do like that you can have as many or as few columns as you want, however.

Pros

I use Twitter for business and personal use. I struggle to remember to tweet even though I know it's important for engagement. That's why I like TweetDeck. It allows me to schedule my Tweets ahead of time which is mostly what I use it for. It's great to be able to set tweets for the next hours, days, and even week if you wanted to go that far in advance. I like that when you're scheduling for a day in advance, the calendar automatically switches to that which makes it easier for you to keep an eye on.

Cons

I really don't like how congested the screen is when you're viewing it. The words tend to smoosh together because there's a lot of different columns for you to keep an eye on. Also, it's kind of confusing to try and figure out how to delete a tweet after you already scheduled one.

### "Why I Use TweetDeck Instead of Twitter"

September 2, 2022

4.0

Overall I've had a positive experience with TweetDeck. I've been using it for years and don't plan to change it anytime soon. It's a simple alternative with easy to use features and an organized layout.

Pros

What I like most about Tweetdeck is its layout and multi-account feature. I started using TweetDeck years ago when Twitter only allowed one account and I've never switched back. The feed is split by columns, allowing each account to have its own column or for specific items such as showing likes, mentions, or hashtags. It also allows you to customize minimal options, in a good way, as it keeps things easy and simple.

Cons

The least thing I like about this is the built-in video player. Every once in a while I'll click play on a video only for it to automatically end in a split second. After a refresh or two, or opening a link if there is one in the tweet, it will play normally. It doesn't happen all the time, but when it does it's more annoying and inconvenient than anything else since it's an easy fix.

Switched from

[Twitter/X](https://www.capterra.com/p/214056/Twitter/)

I initially made the switch because Twitter didn't have multi-accounts as a feature.

### "The Twitter Superhero You Need"

February 16, 2023

4.0

Pros

As a frequent Twitter user, I found Tweetdeck's features to be incredibly impactful in streamlining my Twitter management. The ability to monitor multiple accounts and lists at once, schedule tweets, and receive real-time notifications has made a significant impact on my productivity. I found the product easy to use and its layout customizable, allowing me to tailor the dashboard to my needs. Additionally, integrating Tweetdeck into my existing business processes was a breeze, and it has quickly become an indispensable tool for me.

Cons

I really enjoy using TweetDeck, but one thing that could be improved is the user interface. While it's functional, the layout and design could be more visually appealing and intuitive. Additionally, I would like to see more customization options available, such as the ability to choose different color schemes or fonts.

### "Tweetdeck | Is it any good?"

June 20, 2022

5.0

My overall experience with Tweetdeck has been positive. Besides a little bit of confusion when it came to the dashboard when I first started using Tweetdeck, it quickly became an easy software to use. I schedule tweets days, weeks, and sometimes months ahead of time. I follow trending hashtags and responses to my content, and I'm able to quickly see notifications and tweets I find important to myself.

Pros

Tweetdeck is a social media content management platform designed to help schedule tweets, follow trends, and manage accounts. I use Tweetdeck for podcast promotion via Twitter. Tweetdeck allows you to schedule multiple posts to Twitter a number of days in advance. I had one point where I was scheduling 3 posts a day for every day of the month, and I still didn't run into the limit of Tweets I can schedule (if there is even a limit). This allowed me to have a constant stream of content flowing out of the account, even when I wasn't always logged on. Then, I could log on and respond to comments or interactions. It cut down the amount of times I logged into Twitter a day for a single tweet and/or interaction. Tweetdeck, compared to a competitor like Buffer, is awesome. For free, you can easily follow and manage hashtags, multiple accounts, and set up your feed in a simple way. For myself, I had a whole bunch of podcast-related hashtags that allowed for me to easily watch what was trending in my field, and then interact.

Cons

I understand that the dashboard is set up in a way that you can drag and drop multiple feeds into one screen and watch them all, but I had to search a video online to make sure I was using the website properly. Some softwares have built in "how-to" tutorials, and the fact that Tweetdeck didn't is a mistake. It requires a little bit of knowledge to setup what hashtags you're following, too. Sometimes you come in and type #(blank) and easily find it, but other times you need to know the specific hashtag for the topic you're following.

Switched from

[Buffer](https://www.capterra.com/p/143492/Buffer/)

Buffer's free tier was simply not as powerful as Tweetdeck, nor as interactive. Plus, for free, Tweetdeck allows so much more content to be scheduled than Buffer's free or first paid tier.

### "Most useful tool for Twitter account management"

December 26, 2022

4.0

The Real-time updates allows me to view and interact with social media content in real-time, making it easier to engage with your audience and respond to any issues or opportunities as they arise. Schedule and automate social media posts, which can save time and effort and help you to stay active and engaged even when you are not able to be online.

Pros

Streamlined interface: TweetDeck provides a single interface for managing and monitoring multiple social media accounts, which can make it easier to keep track of what is happening across all of your accounts.Customization options: TweetDeck allows you to customize the way you view and interact with your social media accounts, including the ability to create columns for specific accounts or hashtags, or to filter content based on keywords or other criteria.Scheduling and automation: Analytics and reporting: TweetDeck provides analytics and reporting tools to help you understand your social media activity and engagement, including reach, impressions, and engagement metrics such as likes, retweets, and replies. This can help you to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.Overall, TweetDeck can be a useful tool for those looking to manage and monitor their social media accounts and engage with their audience in real-time.

Cons

Limited to Twitter: TweetDeck is primarily designed for managing and monitoring Twitter accounts, and may not be as suitable for users who need to manage accounts on other social media platforms.Dependent on internet connection: TweetDeck requires an internet connection in order to function, which can be an issue if you are in an area with poor or unreliable connectivity. This can make it difficult to use TweetDeck to manage your social media accounts when you are on the go.

### "Tweet Deck "

November 5, 2021

5.0

### "Best for Twitter Marketing"

November 7, 2022

3)TweetDeck is terribly amazing with its powerful analytics, notification tracking, deck customization & scheduling the media content. With an array of functional tools available, we are able to engage with our followers in a real and more effective manner. Our team can monitor the performances of different accounts simultaneously now. Posting a tweet on different accounts has become much more simplified and an easy-to do task with TweetDeck. Managing the Tweets & monitoring the performance is now much more simplified with TweetDeck.

Pros

TweetDeck has made our social media marketing facile and forcible. Now, we can effortlessly schedule our tweets and monitor the upcoming tweets that too at no cost. The best thing about Tweet Deck is the ability to auto-refresh and customize the account dashboard. It is a huge time saver where we can manage our multiple Twitter account, schedule our posts even when we are offline, and also customize columns of the account as per our need & relevance. I personally believe that it is much easier to post tweet & upload media on TweetDeck than the actual Twitter platform.Managing the Tweets & monitoring the performance is now much more simplified with TweetDeck.

Cons

2)At TweetDeck, it is super easy to schedule a Tweet, but it is impossible to delete or re-schedule a posted tweet. Also, it goes irksome for posting a video tweet. I shall personally want TweetDeck to allow viewing and measuring multiple accounts on a single dashboard.

### "Tweetdeck saves me time, money and makes me look more engaged than I actually am. "

March 10, 2022

5.0

I use Tweetdeck all the time and I would recommend it to anyone who is a small agency or owns a few accounts. It makes tweeting easier over multiple accounts and scheduling tweets is a straight forward process. It's also a real-time feed so you can watch tweets and responses as they happen.

Pros

Tweetdeck is super friendly, easy to use, has a great interface that takes no time to learn and you can tweet, reply and schedule from the moment you start using it. I like being able to customize my views and scheduling tweets over several days.

Cons

If you manage a lot of accounts (more than 5? 10? ) Tweetdeck may not work for you. It is really easy to use and scheduling is a breeze, but managing more than a few accounts would be tricky and make for a very crowded screen, and it lacks the ability to manage multiple user logins , security features and collaboration.

### "Great for monitoring all your Twitter activity"

August 27, 2019

5.0

I manage two separate Twitter accounts through TweetDeck and I believe it is a must-have for anyone that is building their brand. I am able to quickly sift through which tweets are performing the best and use that information to build better tweets in the future. My only qualm with TweetDeck is that a tweet's individual analytics are not made available.

Pros

The customizable columns and the quick filtering that is possible within each column. For example, you are able to quickly review all your retweets, favorites etc. within the notifications column. You are also able to schedule tweets within TweetDeck, which eliminates the need for other post scheduling services as long as you are only using one social media profile.

Cons

TweetDeck removes the analytics from an individual tweet making it harder to determine which tweets are being viewed the most. It largely relies on a user's interaction with a tweet and allows you to filter for those results. It also limits users for business Twitter accounts (there's no option for multiple users) which adds a level of difficulty when you need an account for each individual that will have access.

Alternatives considered

Reason for choosing X Pro

It would be inaccurate to say we chose TweetDeck over Buffer, because we still utilize Buffer daily. TweetDeck is our go-to service for monitoring Twitter because of the filtering options it offers. TweetDeck is far better for monitoring while Buffer is better for post scheduling because you can schedule identical posts for multiple social profiles.

### "An Excellent Information Organizer"

January 8, 2020

5.0

I use Tweetdeck to manage professional learning communities in an education environment. This includes sharing resources, learning with colleagues from across the globe, building relationships between different schools and educators, and also for keeping up with relevant education news.

Pros

Tweetdeck helps to categorize and collate conversations, topics, groups, and threads on a social media platform that can be overwhelming. The tool is free and it is also supported directly by parent company Twitter, so there is a level of legitimacy, security, and trust that is built-in. The tool is also very easy to use and allows for far better management of information. Tweetdeck allows a user to easily separate (and then access) relevant information on user-selected subjects with minimal issue.

Cons

One of the biggest drawbacks is that Tweetdeck only really works well on larger screens such as computers or tablets. It would be nice if there was a functional mobile version. There are competitors such as Hootesuite, but these are third-party apps without the same level of integration.

Switched from

### "Tweetdeck Leaps and Bounds Ahead of Twitter"

January 28, 2019

5.0

I have been using Tweetdeck for both personal and business use for many years. Recently the updates to Tweetdeck have been a major upgrade to the service. Tweetdeck has surpassed Twitter in it's clear layout of Tweets in the home column instead of having them jumbled on the timeline like Twitter does. For business use this makes it clear to monitor updates from other companies in the market place. It is also much easier to interact with clients and provide feedback nearly instantly with the use of sound notifications. Sound notifications with Tweetdeck is a sweet bonus that Twitter doesn't provide giving a non-invasive notification that doesn't disrupt whatever else you are doing at the time or require the need to remove the notification from the screen. Tweetdeck can be used with multiple accounts and teams can have access to accounts so that business administration can be handled more efficiently. Overall Tweetdeck is leaps and bounds ahead of Twitter for both a business product and for personal use. I would recommend it to anyone seeking to improve their social media performance.

Pros

The column settings buttons in Tweetdeck are easy to use. The dark theme makes it easier on the eyes than the static white used to. Everything is cleanly and neatly laid out for both personal and business use.

Cons

When using Tweetdeck sometimes it takes time for the columns to load. Managing a business and keeping track of different companies via their Twitter updates is hindered when the information isn't easily accessible.

### "TweetDeck is a must for small business owners"

March 8, 2022

4.0

TweetDeck is most beneficial for scheduling tweets and participating in Twitter Chats. It makes it easy to monitor active tweets, @responses, and DM messages during the chat. As a small business owner who uses Twitter for marketing, I have found this tool to be invaluable.

Pros

TweetDeck makes it easy to monitor your social media activity on Twitter by giving you an overall view of all your content and future post scheduling. It allows you to view multiple timelines in one screen using columns. I like the fact that you can see your tweets, your DMs, and your scheduled posts together on one screen. You can organize multiple accounts and easily search for hashtags and trending topics.

Cons

There is a slight learning curve to start using the product, especially if you are new to Twitter and not familiar with all of its features.

### "Join the Revolution"

April 30, 2022

4.0

The social media revolution has infiltrated nearly every sector of business in this country, and alcohol and drug recovery centers are not exempt. We started out a simple Facebook page, but soon realized that to be competitive, we would have to have a presence across multiple social media platforms in order to remain in business. Out of all of the platforms, Twitter tends to be the one that results in the most engagement. Therefore, we place significant importance on the tweets that we send, and we have set requirements for the type, frequency, and topic of our tweets. Using these guidelines, our social media team prepares a week's worth of posts at a time. With TweetDeck, rather than having to set alarms to remind us to post a certain tweet, we load them all into TweetDeck and allow it to publish them for us. There is no escaping Twitter. In order to be competitive in our field, you have to have a presence on Twitter. TweetDeck makes establishing and maintaining that presence simple and easy.

Pros

Being able to schedule tweets is far and away the most impactful feature of Tweetdeck for our organization. The energy and creativity of our social media team peaks at our weekly meetings. However, that energy and excitement tends to wane the further along in the week we get. When that happens, prior to TweetDeck, I would notice that tweets that had been slated to go out had never been sent. Sometimes, due to confusion, tweets would be posted out of sequence, or worse, a tweet that unveiled a change in our company was sent out prior to the other parties being notified. With TweetDeck, employee apathy or mismanagement is no longer a concern. The tweets go out as scheduled, with no delays or issues, and the platform is incredibly simple to learn.

Cons

Several of the features utilize multiple twitter accounts connected to the same TweetDeck account. While this does save time and effort in certain situations, it has also proved to be somewhat of a headache when tweets are liked or users are followed by all accounts connected to TweetDeck. We have decided that the options relating to multiple accounts are not worth the hassle, and have discontinued using those features. However, they are still quality features, just not ones that meet our current needs. Despite this, we continue to use TweetDeck for the scheduling feature, and we do not plan to make any changes to that.

### "Best pair for Twitter"

August 4, 2021

4.0

Pros

TweetDeck offers a better a smoother experience in managing my Twitter, in fact, much better than Twitter itself. I can customized my timeline for the topic or niche that interest me, and filtering all other topic from appeared there. The schedule post for the tweet really helpful if i want to tweet something on the peak hours, but unavailable to do that at that time.

Cons

The analytics report that can be generated on this software is rather too simple and many details are missing. Especially for the comment section, which i can't see how many retweet that i receive for a specific period. All other things works superbly and i enjoy using it to manage my social media, especially Twitter.

I've been using TweetDeck for 5 years with my company and for 9 years overall, and it's been a critically important tool for social media promotion. I love it!

Pros

It's a clean layout that is integrated with Twitter. It also allows you to be logged into several accounts at the same time, with the ability to easily check and uncheck which accounts you want a post to be attributed to, allowing for easy cross-promotion.

I have been very happy with TweetDeck over the years. It has been very helpful to us for monitoring the community during critical or important incidents. So much of what drives peoples actions is motivated by social media, and it is important to use social media as part of how we interact the community.

Pros

There are a number of features in TweetDeck. I utilize a number of the features on a daily basis, such as the ability to monitor a number of accounts, phrases, or searches. Each search, or column, is easy to set up. I also like that it is web based, and can be accessed on any device--including phones and tablets. The settings carry over from device to device.

### "For the community manager, tweetdeck is the best software in the world"

July 8, 2018

5.0

Although it can not be used in other RRSS other than twitter, that does not take away its extraordinary utility and excellent functions. Tweetdeck is a fascinating tool that I have linked at an instrumental level with the Community Manager, but at the level of influencer I have used it in my career as a theater actor and producer, leaving in me an incredible satisfaction, since I have been able to enhance my exposure as never before. I had imagined it. I highly recommend the use of this software for all those who, like me, want to make their career more known to other users and Internet users

Pros

This software has too many qualities that enhance the career of the community manager, specifically in the exhibition and monitoring of the image that is sought. However one of the most important features that I can perceive of Tweetdeck is the easy to use, as well as the display of the full profile by columns, where you can see in real time and on a single screen, my tweets, mentions, private messages and the Tweaker and hashtag to keep me more informed. It also has a particular feature that I love and is the ability to program tweets so that they can be tweeted at any time without having to be on the PC all day; I also like the scheduling of notifications quite a bit, allowing me to do a deep follow-up of any profile.

Cons

If this software works in other RRSS like pinterest, facebook, snapchat, periscope, and inclsuo, linkedIn was one of the best software that I have used, however it only works for twitter.

### "Tweet Convenience"

August 31, 2022

5.0

This is a very useful app for management and tracking of tweets whether be it personal or business setup. The only inconvenience is that it's only intended for Twitter. And you know nowadays people go from one platform to another to interact with others. This would be a great game changer if this would be achieved.

Pros

This is very convenient in scheduling tweets and specially with multiple accounts. You can even login to these accounts at the same time which is a lot more convenient than logging out and then logging in to another one. I'm also confident using it with the idea that it is of the same company that it caters to, so at least when asking for support, which I haven't tried, is a lot easier. I tried a different app previously intended for my tweets, and this tool is great as it allows more content to be posted/ scheduled.

Cons

I just wish that this app supports other operating systems to allow other users to access it. Because like me, I access a lot of gadgets whether at work or at home, and it just deters me to not be able to use it on other devices. Another con for me is that you can't use it on other social media platforms, which would've been great since the interface is not so cluttered for this app.

Reason for choosing X Pro

The cross platform is missing in tweetdeck.

Unfortunately, we had to go with Hootsuite because it allows cross platform.
