It's simple and easy to track their different accounts and the hashtags they use to see engagement and track trends. It's easy to consolidate the accounts and have a lot of the information we need at a glance. It presents a much easier interface to navigate than twitter itself and makes social media planning less stressful. I'd definitely recommend for small businesses or those that aren't looking to spend much on that piece of their business. Pros TweetDeck makes it super easy to manage my client's twitter account, schedule tweets, keep a pulse on all interactions from private messages, to mentions, to retweets, all in one place. You're also able to manage multiple accounts at once for no cost. It's great for small businesses. Cons The analytic and tracking options are really sub par. You cannot easily track tweets, topics, etc. which limits your opportunity to adjust your social media strategy based on feedback and interaction from those within your social community. Pros Managing multiple accounts on a daily basis, TweetDeck is THE go-to solution. The instant availability of all aspects of each accounts in a single-view is incredible. It has been easy to monitor and include media with the tweets. Again, still the best multiple-account platform out there. Pros Tweetdeck allows users to administer multiple accounts at once, in real time. It provides for the major categories of information an admin may need (analytics excluded). Its ease-of-use may be its biggest draw, as well as the ability to house multiple accounts and vary the kinds of information visible for each. Scheduling is also easy. Cons They tested the inclusion of gifs in tweets composed from TweetDeck, but later removed it. That's a shame. I loved that feature. Also, for "viral" moments when mentions are flying in fast and furious, Twitter's native site may be a better option. Review Source Kelsey C. Pros TweetDeck is a social media management tool that allows you to aggregate data, schedule posts, track hashtags, and interact with followers and other users in one platform. As a social media manager, it's very helpful to have an all-in-one tool that saves you time and allows you to interact with members of the public to grow your account and brand. Cons I like Tweetdeck, but I don't think the platform is as sophisticated as other platforms. I find that the Tweetdeck is missing some features as other platforms such as Hootsuite such as keeping all of the analytics and the mobile compatibility. Review Source Jason B. This is my daily driver because it's got all of the search and monitoring settings that I would need. Pros I love​ how I can have it take up my entire laptop screen! And I can add all of the panels/columns with different individual features. I have all of my channels inboxes being monitored at once, and I can reply quickly without having to sign out and back in! Cons It's a bulky, cumbersome interface. I've tried to make it smaller (i.e., font) but then there's just too much going on. I wish it was streamlined somehow better than it is. Cons TweetDeck used to integrate with other social media platforms such as Facebook. However, that integration no longer exists. Bugs have popped up so scheduling didn't work well in the past, and efforts to reach out went unanswered. The bugs were fixed in a few days, but no communication. Pros The biggest thing is the ability to schedule tweets. I'd be lost without it. I also love that it shows multiple streams in columns across the page - the feed of accounts we follow, plus mentions, then our scheduled upcoming tweets, then the feed of our recent tweets. Very easy layout to look everything over and edit upcoming stuff as needed. Cons I wish I could be signed into multiple Twitter accounts at once, rather than having to sign out and sign back in each time I want to switch between my personal and business one. Also, sometimes I'm trying to post a photo and the file size is too large - I wish they had the functionality to just resize the photo; I know that exists. Cons Maybe more colour options for the theme. Right now there's only a dark/light theme but it would be nice if you can also change the accent colour to something other than blue. It's so nice to see all of your 'tabs' per say in one place. It's well designed and simple to use for anyone who already uses Twitter as is. Pros TweetDeck is something I learned about nearly eight years ago when I was managing social media for my high school. Since then I have used it pretty much every day on my personal Twitter account to ensure that I am keeping up with my different clients press releases and news. It's a great place to keep track of multiple different people, places, or things at one time. Cons There are no major issues with this platform but I will say that I wish it could be personalized. It's great to have everything in one place, but it would be cool to edit the colors and backgrounds of everything to make it more unique to each person. Pros TweetDeck lets you dive even deeper into Twitter than if you were just using the basic app. You can schedule tweets, track multiple hashtags at a time, and view each one of your accounts at once. It's great for social media advertising, which is what I use it for—our company utilizes three different Twitter accounts, and being able to run all three at once makes my life a lot easier. Cons Going from normal Twitter to TweetDeck can be a bit confusing and overwhelming at times. Thankfully there are a lot of tutorials across the Internet. Cons Desktop TweetDeck app was removed in 2016, so users now must use it within their browser.
