Pros

The bulk post option makes scheduling content for clients immensely eaier. I also really find the analytics very useful!

Cons

I wish this software could post automatically on instagram, however i realize this is probably due to instagram and not to Social pilot.

It's saved me HOURS of work per day. It's really and truly a great system.

Pros

The price... I tried the competitors and just found them too expensive for what I was looking for. SocialPilot's pricing is why I chose them. The fact that it's a great and easy to use system is a total bonus lol

Cons

I love all the existing features -- my only complaint might be that if I schedule a post to go out at the same time across 20 social profiles then if need to go and change those times, I have to do each profile one at a time. I may want to change all 20's to the same timeframe. There may be a way around this, however, that I am not aware of.

Overall, decent program, prices aren't horrible, and it's easier to use than some of the other scheduling platforms I've used in the past.

Pros

I can schedule and forget it for the most part when getting my blog posts sent out to my social media platforms. Easy to schedule, integrates easily with Wordpress, overall feel of the platform is nice.

Cons

When the individual plan, you can only attach 10 social accounts (not a deal breaker since I only have 5ish), however, you can only publish 50 posts at a time. I sometimes schedule upwards to 200+ items for optimal reach.

Ease of scheduling posts across social media channels for the brands I support.

Pros

Very clean UI. SocialPilot allows you to sort your social media profiles into groups which is useful for managing multiple brands' social media presence. It integrates with all the major social media channels. Its message composition allows photos and video uploads. The scheduling interface is elegant and easy to use. A very well-thought out social media management tool.

Cons

There's just one feature that's missing: live @user tagging in composing messages. As well, you can only post one image at a time per message.

I'm able to really improve our social media presence and reach.

Pros

Scheduling is easy. I like how facebook and twitter posts are published by the program automatically. I also like the idea of having curated content available...however i think that it is stupid that I cannot use the search bar. I also like how I can use it from my phone which is very easy

Cons

i find it extremely inconvenient that instagram posts are not published automatically and that I need to do it from the app. I also don't like how I can't schedule multiple pictures for either instagram or facebook. (especially when you are able to post multiple on the actual programs) Finally, I think that it is ridiculous that I can have access to curated content...and not be able to search for it. It's very cheap of social pilot to do that especially when I pay for it. I shouldn't have to double the money out of my pocket to use the search bar. It's absolutely ridiculous.

The search box is a premium feature Delaney, so you will have to upgrade for it's usage and also Instagram has a restricted API so it doesn't allow any third party tool like SocialPilot to post directly to it. This is something Instagram handles and not in our hands. We have recently released the multiple image posts feature on your dashboard. Cons

Lack of customer service and excuses made for a broken platform that requires account reconnection after 60 days. Slow to load. Failed posts regularly.

The biggest benefit of SocialPilot is saving time and money on Social Media by being able to schedule lots of posts at once, and reschedule very easily.

Pros

As a business coach, I'm always trying to find ways to help my clients save time and automate their business. SocialPilot is perfect for that, as it's easy to use and you can schedule lots of social media posts on various platforms with one click of the button. What I most like is the ability to add images to the scheduled posts. With Hootsuite I had to link them all individually every time I rescheduled posts, and this took up a lot of time. I always recommend SocialPilot to my clients (and of course I use it myself).

Cons

Like anything it does take a little while to get the hang of the exact way to post things (especially the date format) and it can take a while to get an answer from the helpdesk when you do have a problem, but they always get there in the end.

I saved money on it and get much better features from it.

Pros

I like the comprehensive calendar view of all the content going out and the fact that it's easy to add to. I also love the Curated Content section.

Cons

That it doesn't notify you when a queue is empty or when a contributor has posted something. I also don't like that I set up posting times but I never get a chance to use them. It seems odd.

### "Great app for scheduling social media posts"

I love being able to schedule posts in advance. I take a block of time and come up with content rather than doing it on the fly with less focus. I'm able to use it across multiple platforms for multiple clients without logging out. There are a few UX/UI things I wish were different, but overall I'm really happy with the functionality of the app and use it frequently.

Pros

It's really convenient that I can have multiple accounts hooked up. I use social media for multiple clients and personal projects, so it's very convenient to do it all from one spot. I also really like the calendar feature; it makes it really clear to be able to visualize it that way.

Cons

Finding posts that have just gone out or are scheduled is a little unintuitive. I know it's in there, but sometimes I can only find it on the calendar app. I think making a new post and viewing pending or recently posted posts are the most common uses and should be easiest to find without searching. \*\*Also, the Instagram feature is fine in theory (to have a notification pop up at the scheduled time with the post content, then to manually paste it into the post), but if I accidentally dismiss the pop up notification, I can't find the post anywhere. I understand if Instagram doesn't allow automated posting like FB does, but it's frustrating that I can't find an easy way to post on Facebook if I miss the notification on my lock screen.

### "Searched High and Low"

I hated Hootsuite. Like, could not wrap my brain around their workflow. (And I am a smart Techie person) I searched and searched and when I found Social Pilot, the angels sang! I recommend it to all my clients and friends. I even got my mom to use it!

Pros

The CALENDAR feature. So needed and no one else is really doing it.

Cons

I wish I could edit replicated posts once they have been scheduled. (This way i dont have to remove them all and redo the replicated post to fix a typo)

### "Acceptable but needs improving"

It has been decent but this new Instagram problem and editing posts is a serious issue and needs to be fixed immediately.

Pros

It's easy to use and saves a lot of time but it needs improving

Cons

It currently is not allowing me to post to Instagram. I have sent a message to them yesterday and am awaiting a reply. I also do not like that you can send 1 post to various SM networks but if you want to edit that post you have to edit it for each SM network, rather than edit it once.

Pros

It allows you to connect with up to 10 profiles with up to 50 posts per day in the free version which is great for a small business. It allows you to connect to Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest etc. which is amazing that one platform can do this.

Cons

There were some issues where the profiles were becoming unconnected to SocialPilot. You have to go in and log in and reconnect the profile to SocialPilot. Sometimes, it was hard to find the screen to reconnect the profile. Some of the times where it was unconnected was out of SocialPilot's control, however there were some times when there was no heads up. This was difficult because it wasn't until you logged into SocialPilot that you realized that it wasn't working. All of the posts that you had timed were just sitting there. I wished there was some notification you could set-up.

### "Great for agencies, except..."

Pros

This software is great for my boutique agency. We manage social media for our clients through the desktop and mobile app with ease. I like that it has similar functionality to buffer but is more affordable for a small agency like mine. The content discovery tool also helps us post great stuff regularly!

Cons

When I chose Social Pilot, I was concerned that it didn’t have direct publishing to Instagram. I shared that with the sales person following up on the trial and he mentioned they were hoping to have it by August, 2018. Here we are, middle of October, 2018, with no direct-to-Instagram publishing. I’m sticking with it for now because I otherwise love the platform, but I can’t function for long without that capability.

### "A multi-client multi-account social media dashboard with great analytics and a few quirks"

The multiple client dashboard feature is affordable compared with other solutions, and this one has LinkedIn analytics. That almost makes it a unicorn in the forest.

Pros

I looked forever for a social media management tool that would give me a wider range of accounts than other dashboards, with great analytics, and the ability to handle each client's accounts as part of a "group" of accounts. Social Pilot meets all these criteria.

Cons

The need to create the client account groupings has to happen for every person who uses the software. The administrator can't just create the groups and go. Also, it's almost a default to log endlessly repeating posts on all platforms. I'd like a better preview function that shows how to optimize each post for each platform. You really have to play with it for a while to figure out all the quirks. I'd say the free trial isn't quite long enough.

Pros

The platform works very well and it's definitely tailored for all team sizes. The data featured in the app is extremely useful and easy to follow and comprehend. Social pilot is an essential tool for managing the reach of your company and how well you are connecting with your target audience. From here you can work to improve where needed. It's very easy to digest.

Cons

Although they offer different plans, the pricing can be a bit challenging to put up with for smaller teams. Also the apps can be a bit slow and the user interface could use some improvement, as it's not as intuitive as it should be.

I found SP after falling out with the customer service of hootsuite and have not even had to contact SP's customer service yet as it all works smoothly.

Pros

The ability to create groups is by far the best feature. I run several martial arts clubs and do not want the same posts on the kids pages as i do on the fighters pages. This allows me to put all my social media into groups to ensure the kids dont get a video on head butting :)

Cons

Not their fault, having to effectively post on Instagram instead of the software doing for me is a little hassle.

Pros

It's better priced than its competitors for the features and functionalities that it offers. It's very easy to navigate, allows for easy scheduling of posts in one go, and support is very easy to access.

Cons

To round out its capabilities, it could use a listening tool. And I/we need the ability to tag handles when scheduling a post. That is all.

Pros

The overall platform and user experience are very good. I can easily manage multiple brand accounts across multiple social media channels, with access to the majority of the reporting data in one place.

Cons

There are some UX improvements that would be of benefit. For example, when applying a filter on the calendar, it resets every time you cause the browser to update. A semi-sticky filter would make life easier. I suspect the inability to tag people in Facebook & LinkedIn posts is due to the API, but that is also a frustration.
