Pros Social Pilot saves me loads of time in posting to Social Media and when you are self employed time is money. I have used other Social Media tools including Tweetdeck and Buffer but Social Pilot is much more reliable and easy to use. Cons It would be useful if it could pick up twitter handles and hashtags like Buffer does but this is a minor con. October 15, 2018 5.0 Excellent : I tried a few other such tools (buffer, socialchamp) and SocialPilot is the best in terms of how easy it is to schedule posts for 1 or 2 months in advance. I could feel that a lot of thinking was put in making very repetitive tasks easy to perform, wich is the most important for such tools. Also I really liked the automatic insta posting from the Android SocialPilot app. Pros It is an excellent piece of software for automatizing the publications on social networks (instagram, facebook, twitter, linkedin, google Plus, tumblr, Xing). I've used the automations for facebook and instagram so far and I'm really happy with the user experience for scheduling posts : very straightforward and fluid when you want to schedule posts for 1 to 2 months in advance. Also, the automation for instagram is really smart: you get a notification, click on it, it opens SocialPilot and you press "publish --> it opens insta app automatically, and you just have to paste the text before you post. Cons Some freezes of the Android app on my Galaxy S7 in the last few weeks (it opens and stay stuck on "please wait"). It may not be all that useful for those who don't have more than one network. Utilize the scheduling and monitoring tools. Both are great functions of this tool. Cons There are size limitations to the image size you can post. As I shoot much of my work on a high-quality camera resulting in large size photos, it would be great to not have to edit them down before posting. Also, you can anytime turn off the link shortening if you don't want them shortened. Just go to URL Shortening in the Posts section and turn it off. You can have your links as you wrote them. I also love that it has instagram integration. Being able to add a blog feed right from social pilot is also a great feature! Cons It Rarely works properly when sending a video to instagram or twitter. Also the analytics seem off. Cons I don't like how it's set up to schedule repeating posts, it would be great to be able to repeat them indefinitely instead of by weeks and I think changing the time is cumbersome and is no easy to use. I really wish that I could post videos and I also wish that I could see my posts and responses to my posts in a social feed that allows me to respond. The main reason I like SocialPilot is that the scheduling is the best out there, it allows for the separation of companies, and a ton of profiles for an extremely reasonable price. The main concern is the video posting, as I post a good amount of video (I fly drones for part of my job). The social feed I can look past because my CRM (nimble) shows comments and messages from my social media. Pros It is the best posting platform I have used. The price for the amount of social profiles is unbeatable. I really like being able to search for content by topic and easily throw into my queue. Canva integration is awesome too. September 6, 2019 4.0 if there were some updates and whatnot id totally use it again. just for the point in time I was using it gave me a​ little too many issues honestly. Pros i liked how you could link almost any article to your social media by shortcut on the desktop of my laptop. Cons i wasnt the biggest fan of how glitchy the software for linking social media was. it would sometimes not give me the ability to post certain things i wanted​ to. " January 12, 2018 5.0 Social Pilot allows me to find curated industry content for my clients, who are across a variety of industries from retail, dining, entertainment and transportation, among others. With Social Pilot I'm able to find and publish this content easily on a set schedule or on the dates of my choice. Pros Curation is amazing, allowing me to find the right content regardless of industry. Prior to finding Social Pilot I was using another service that wasn't nearly as effective with curation. Cons I'd love the option to search specific Facebook pages and share content I find as well. I can find ways around this but if this feature was added it would be a perfect product for my agency needs. Pros I enjoy that I can add my clients in, I can do an RSS feed and that I can email customer service and have them reply right away. Cons The phone app works well but does take up memory. When I look through the posts scheduled it can be confusing, maybe if each box was a little bit bigger. Clients can easily see their social post calendar or come on as a team member and make their own contributions. Social pilot also provides great reports so I can spend my time working on what's important. Cons A few benefits are missing from the Team dashboard like the ability to copy posts. This is available in the admin dashboard but it would be nice for the individual to have this option. I like that it doesn't limit you to 2 feeds and you have the ability to pull from your feeds as much as every hour. Cons Manually picking times for each day is cumbersome. Currently it is not such an essential tool. Pros the simplicity to program the posts, the simplicity to schedule posts, and to delegate when working as a team. Cons Automatic post on instagram. A friendlier free-trial. Some artificial intelligence based on the metrics.
