I trialled Hootsuite, Sprout Social and Buffer to name a few until I found Social Pilot and since then I have stuck to it. Social Pilot is excellent value of money, easy to setup and has functionality that the other social media management tools do not. Bulk scheduling with images is the best feature of the social pilot. URL shortener feature is also great. This integration allows for you to get curated content from all over the internet. This can save you a ton of time. Also, the ease of creating groups so you can easily post to multiple channels at the same time. Cons After creating the content for all channels, it would be nice if there was a step that would allow you to customize the content for each channel rather than having to do it one at a time or go back in a change content after you have scheduled it. I ended my subscription because it wasn't worth the money, effort, or frustration Pros I initially liked the mobile app visual composer option where I had access to free Unsplash photographs and the ability to create visual social media posts Cons The mobile app constantly crashed. There were many times when the app did not bring up any photographs. If I needed to change something on a visual post after completed, I would have to start from scratch. When I needed to make adjustments to wordings on non-visual posts, or off-photo, I would have to go through and change them for every single social media account even before they were published. It was linked to Instagram, but the user has to manually upload the post to Instagram, so what's the point? Most of the photos were too large for Instagram so much of the graphics had to be cut out of the Instagram post. Review Source DS Denise S. January 9, 2018 4.0 Pros As a soloprenuer, I love that it's affordable, custom branding, content curation feature, and the customer service has been very responsive and helpful. The analytics is a great and important feature and I love that I can access/connect to client accounts without the need for their passwords. Cons Not able to add multiple images, especially for Instagram. Would be nice to have a place to store frequently used hashtags for Instagram. Although, I love the URL shortner, it's a pain when I'm trying to include a custom URL and it keeps automatically changing to a short URL. Would like to provide deeper analytics and brief explanations of what each section means. The number of posts a day and RSS feeds are such a relief and give me enough space to actually get stuff done with my weekly/daily posts. Cons I would like to see a pool of images I can use and edit to post. Would like to be able to edit the desktop panel of SP. Last but not least, since I am grandfathered into my plan, would like when I upgrade to be able upgrade to the old pricing. Cons Other than moving posts to the top, you can't move posts around. You are able to move them more in the calendar view but unfortunately this is of little help, since you can't see the posts, which defeats the purpose. " January 9, 2018 5.0 It saves me time when it comes to scheduling my social media. Pros It's easy to set a schedule so that I don't have to 'schedule' every post. It just goes right into the next slot saving me time. This ability also lets me set different schedules for different days and different accounts with ease. This is by far my favorite feature. Cons Either I can't or haven't figured out how to tag people through this program. It can be frustrating when it comes to cross-promotion with other authors. I run several brands across all the main networks and this makes it much easier. It's great as well having things like Google My Business which might get forgotten otherwise! Pros Ability to queue posts across multiple accounts and networks is great. I especially like the bulk scheduling feature which lets you upload a CSV which I generate in Google sheets. Cons It's not cheap, and you have to go to an extra package for the bulk scheduling which is a shame. I'd like more insights into optimal posting times too. Pros The software is great to use, main features we like are: the ease of navigation, analytics feature, the ease of managing multiple profiles and integrating them to the system, ability to invite clients to link their own accounts and recently the export of analytics in PDF format. Cons The system in general is great, however, there are a few features that could be added, which are: being able to add multiple photos on Facebook, the ability to have 100% white label for agencies and having a client area so they can login and see their analytics at anytime. We didn't have to make any changes before sending them to our clients. Cons I don't like that Instagram cannot be scheduled. It only can send a reminder, but I understand this is because Instagram is a mobile application. In addition, when I try to send a post right away it goes into the unscheduled area and won't send.
