We share Sales across three functional groups in my company, and Nutshell helps us stay organized. We particularly like the ability to bcc Nutshell when we email a prospect and the email is automatically populated in their profile. Nutshell does one thing, and it does it well.

Pros

Nutshell just gets the job done. No fancy bells and whistles; if you want to track leads and manage prospects in a simple, straightforward way, Nutshell is what you need.

Cons

Nutshell can feel a bit dated at times, like old enterprise SaaS software. There are definitely more modern features in the platform, but the UI could use updating to help direct use of those features a bit better.

Overall, we have had a good experience with Nutshell and appreciate the efforts to solve problems in a timely fashion when they arrive and adapt functions if we have a product improvement suggestion.

Pros

Nutshell is fairly easy to use, even for people who are not familiar with CRM services. I like that there has been an uptick in customization features which has helped us adapt the pipeline in the most efficient way for the sales team.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to pull reporting information and then to have that be cross functional with Excel. I also wish we would get a weekly activity summary.

I love the experience I am having with nutshell. It was easy to load my contact, organize and begin using. Ive used other platforms and this is the best one by far.

Pros

Email management feature, customer support consistency, user friendly, value for my money. Im obsessed with the board feature where I am able to see all of my contacts and keep organized on follow ups and communication.

Cons

So far, I have not run into anything I have not liked about nutshell. I am amazed at how well I became accustomed to using the platform and how easy the transition was from other CRM tools.

Overall, it has worked for what we have needed it these last few years. We have outgrown the capabilities and have explored other options as this is not built for a service company (as told to us by our support team at Nutshell). This is built for retail, and any solution we have asked to have implemented has been met with "Nutshell isn't built for that, why would you want to do that" and it just doesn't fit our needs anymore.

Pros

All in one platform for leads and email management. It is nice to be able to contact people directly from the lead pages.

Nutshell is adding AI in a way that truly makes sense - especially with automatic transcripts and call logging. It’s not just a gimmick; it’s practical, accurate, and incredibly helpful. Being able to search transcripts, review summaries, and see calls automatically logged gives me confidence that every interaction is documented properly. It’s modern CRM done right.

Cons

If I was being a bit picky, I’d say I sometimes wish I could customise the transcript formatting just a little more - maybe adjust spacing or highlight sections differently. But that’s genuinely nit-picking, because the feature itself works flawlessly.

Nutshell has been a significant upgrade from our previous CRM. We can use the features without constantly feeling nickel-and-dimed. Yes there are features you have to pay extra for, but the base plans include more than their competitors.

Pros

I love all the automation that we have been able to incorporate into the CRM, Pipeline, and back office operations team. Nutshell has allowed us to streamline processes. Nutshell includes many features at no additional charge, saving us money because we do not need to purchase them from other companies. Customer Support is USA-based and usually prompt. We manage newsletters, drip campaigns, follow-up sales emails, as well as pipeline and CRM, all in one tool.

Cons

It lacks a feature to create your own workflow from scratch. Nutshell would be better if it had a more user friendly mobile app.

Good from beginning to present! The support options are fantastic, and the value for what we're paying annually is excellent. We're a small business, and I don't ever feel that the service we receive differs from big companies or those with large portfolios. I highly recommend Nutshell.

Pros

Ease of use. Nutshell has been easy to use from day one. Reports are easy to run and Leads are easy to create and close/Win. It's easy to sort through many contacts and groups and the onboarding process was fantastic. My employer moved from an in-house CRM to Nutshell earlier this year. The transition team was supportive and helpful. No question was out of the question. We felt comfortable getting to know the program. The trial provided before our decision purchase was perfect, and all the items we added during the trial carried over into the live program.

Cons

My only complaint is that sometimes features change. This seems to be announced beforehand, and feedback is requested afterward. But I do wish some changes were optional rather than mandatory.

Overall, we don't regret choosing to be with Nutshell as our CRM. Data management and sales performance monitoring is reliable. We were more focused on what really matters

Great Customer Service Experience- easy to reach out and very friendly. App is really easy to understand so despite the complex business process, we were able to tweak it and make it fit to our needs. It is also not overly price- i'd say it's on our sweet spot.

Cons

We are somehow bothered by how data redundancy is approached, detected or managed especially when you are uploading by batch- it is tough. Data filtering and Sorting is quite limited so im hoping that they will improve that.

Everyone on the team has been super helpful. The support is incredibly prompt for a fairly small company and they are always open to feedback.

Pros

Super intuitive platform. Fairly customizable platform for our B2C business. As a small business its important to us to have an affordable platform that suits as many needs as possible.

Cons

A lot of the features that would be super beneficial to our company are behind a pay wall and are charged in USD which isn't your fault but as a Canadian it's difficult to justify.

Overall, it is better than another solution we beta tested. It isn't my preferred email platform, however, it does have good tracking for CRM, which email platforms largely lack. I would love if the email platform could catch up with other software!

Pros

It is pretty easy to use. The interface is detailed but clear. It covers the bases for what we need for a CRM and the way we do business.

Cons

There are a few extra steps that I would personally remove for the tasks I use Nutshell for, including sending newsletters and regular communications. Also, the email builder is a bit clunky. For example, I have to add a new block to put a bulleted list in. I don't see why that can't exist within the text box. When I add content, I have to cut and paste and edit in a way that pulls out lists. The lists are also not very editable, meaning I can't adjust how they appear, indent, etc. the way I can in a marketing email platform.

I’ve been using Nutshell for a couple years now, first as a general user and now an admin too. It gets daily use from me and not having it would make my life so much more needlessly difficult. It truly solves a lot of minor problems and makes managing the larger issues much simpler. Having it interface with our existing system is amazing and saves a ton of time and expense for not having to migrate things from a legacy system.

Pros

How easy to use and onboard new employees, the overall level of customization available especially for integrating with our existing systems, and the short overall learning curve to use and customize it for our needs.

Cons

There’s really nothing to dislike from my end, it’s really easy to use and more importantly really easy to customize so that we rarely run into issues with it and when we do, it’s a user issue and not a platform issue. I honestly wish every other software was this well thought out!

We're big fans of the product and rely on it to run many parts of our business. We can see in real-time across devices which opportunities are advancing and where others were left behind.

Pros

I think Nutshell's highlights include its UX/UI, efficiency of workflows, strong email and other integrations, and mobile app quality. It is soooo much more intuitive than the "leading" CRMs.

Cons

It's still a a CRM, I wish the search function was more comprehensive, and I'd love to be able to sync with other MSFT products like OneNote and Teams.

Overall it's pretty positive, with some bugs and small room for improvement (I'd love to see a way to label and describe different phone numbers, websites, etc on the right side of a company account)

I like the duplicate feature that lets you know if you have similar/same names in the system! It's also a lot easier to support customers when you can read the interactions from previous employees.

I wish there was less wait time- it takes a while to load sometimes and other times does not load at all (does not happen with other websites)

Overall, I am new to Nutshell, but have enjoyed it so far. It is user friendly and with a little practice, I've caught on quickly to some of the unique features it offers.

Pros

I like being able to see all of the progress my lead has made in one place start to finish. It helps me build my relationship with the client and provide better support when they encounter issues. It is also helpful to have all email communication in one place, regardless of the account emailing them. There are less repeated conversations, and it saves us time and money.

Cons

I have struggled to connect my calendar using the scheduler and have worked with Nutshell's support team to help figure it out. It is an ongoing issue but Nutshell's support has been quick and helpful.

For the most part I like this CRM. A colleague and I both make email templates all the time and share them which is very efficient. We keep track of Leads

Pros

I like most that once an email template is sent, you can easily see exactly who opened and clicked links from it. Not only that, you can see how many times the did so and exactly the time they did. This is amazing for following up on Leads because instead of wondering if the prospect has interested you can gauge their interest down the minute by seeing exactly when they opened it, which links they clicked and how many times they did so. I've told reps I used to work with who use Salesforce and they are jealous.

Cons

Personal preference perhaps but I don't like that what I'd call an Opportunity is called a Lead in Nutshell. To me the word lead how you refer to it at the beginning of a sales funnel and an Opportunity is noun I'd use for the long term.
