### "We love Nutshell!"

August 20, 2026

5.0

Overall, I couldn't be happier about going with Nutshell. Their training and customer service has been wonderful as well.

Pros

Nutshell is very user friendly and feature rich. We love calling and recording through the system especially.

Cons

We haven't really had a con as of yet, but i'm sure eventually one will develop. I will update my rating when that happens.

### "Phenomenal solution at a great price"

August 18, 2026

5.0

Love it and highly recommend. The design is easy on the eye and intuitive, packed with tons of features and great analytics. They recently built out a suit of new features for prospecting, sales and customer service and they keep adding stuff to it.

Pros

Nutshell is a powerful and easy to use solution. It's super quick and easy to set up and use. It has all the CRM features our business needs and is a perfect solution for everything we wanted when we set out to evaluate different options. It's also 100% reliable and offers good and fast customer service. Their marketing and analytics features are great and easy to use and we dropped our newsletter service and moved everything over. In the last year or so they added a ton of new features that we're considering - SMS, AI, invoicing, chat agents, and IG/FB/WhatsApp integration. Extraordinarily high value for the price and a perfect solution for our business.

Cons

I wish it was slightly more integrated with our email so we don't need to manage 100% of it in a separate window. It's easy when my assistant does it, but me manually updating all the leads is time consuming.

### "Fantastic CRM Software 10/10"

February 21, 2026

5.0

What I love most about Nutshell is the interface - it’s clean, intuitive, and genuinely easy to use. From the moment I logged in, everything felt logical and straightforward, without the overwhelm that comes with many other CRMs. I was able to get fully set up in less than a day, which says a lot about how well it’s designed. There’s no steep learning curve, no endless tutorials required - just a system that makes sense straight away. It allows me to focus on running my business rather than figuring out software, and that simplicity is what really sets it apart.

Pros

Nutshell is adding AI in a way that truly makes sense - especially with automatic transcripts and call logging. It’s not just a gimmick; it’s practical, accurate, and incredibly helpful. Being able to search transcripts, review summaries, and see calls automatically logged gives me confidence that every interaction is documented properly. It’s modern CRM done right.

Cons

If I was being a bit picky, I’d say I sometimes wish I could customise the transcript formatting just a little more - maybe adjust spacing or highlight sections differently. But that’s genuinely nit-picking, because the feature itself works flawlessly.

### "SonarMD x Nutshell"

December 21, 2025

4.0

Overall, we have had a good experience with Nutshell and appreciate the efforts to solve problems in a timely fashion when they arrive and adapt functions if we have a product improvement suggestion.

Pros

Nutshell is fairly easy to use, even for people who are not familiar with CRM services. I like that there has been an uptick in customization features which has helped us adapt the pipeline in the most efficient way for the sales team.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to pull reporting information and then to have that be cross functional with Excel. I also wish we would get a weekly activity summary.

### "Wish we had found Nutshell sooner"

December 17, 2025

5.0

Nutshell has been a significant upgrade from our previous CRM. We can use the features without constantly feeling nickel-and-dimed. Yes there are features you have to pay extra for, but the base plans include more than their competitors.

Pros

I love all the automation that we have been able to incorporate into the CRM, Pipeline, and back office operations team. Nutshell has allowed us to streamline processes. Nutshell includes many features at no additional charge, saving us money because we do not need to purchase them from other companies. Customer Support is USA-based and usually prompt. We manage newsletters, drip campaigns, follow-up sales emails, as well as pipeline and CRM, all in one tool.

Cons

It lacks a feature to create your own workflow from scratch. Nutshell would be better if it had a more user friendly mobile app.

### "Highly Recommended!!"

December 17, 2025

5.0

Good from beginning to present! The support options are fantastic, and the value for what we're paying annually is excellent. We're a small business, and I don't ever feel that the service we receive differs from big companies or those with large portfolios. I highly recommend Nutshell.

Pros

Ease of use. Nutshell has been easy to use from day one. Reports are easy to run and Leads are easy to create and close/Win. It's easy to sort through many contacts and groups and the onboarding process was fantastic. My employer moved from an in-house CRM to Nutshell earlier this year. The transition team was supportive and helpful. No question was out of the question. We felt comfortable getting to know the program. The trial provided before our decision purchase was perfect, and all the items we added during the trial carried over into the live program.

Cons

My only complaint is that sometimes features change. This seems to be announced beforehand, and feedback is requested afterward. But I do wish some changes were optional rather than mandatory.

### "Best bang for your buck CRM for small businesses!"

December 18, 2025

5.0

I chose Nutshell after exploring more than a dozen CRM platforms when HubSpot priced me out of their market. Nutshell was the only platform that provided me with all the features I needed, without the bloat, at a price point that seemed too good to be true. Setup and implementation were simple, and it has become an integral part of my sales and contact management workflow. Nutshell is also committed to improving the platform with new features, a better UI, and excellent customer support. Whenever I have an issue, they respond promptly and work until the issue is resolved. But I rarely have a problem with it. It's fantastic.

Pros

I love that it has all the features my small business needs without the exorbitant price tag of platforms like HubSpot. More importantly, I'm not stuck paying for extra features and functionality that I don't need.

Cons

Limited options to use Zapier to create automations across software tools. I would love to see them expose more of the fields and functions of Nutshell so that I can build more useful automations to support my workflow.

### "Nutshell in a Nutshell"

December 17, 2025

5.0

Smooth and simple. The company behind Nutshell is nothing but helpful and accommodating. They have really helped us through set up or bugs encountered. They will even go as far as helping you with imports through there White Glove Service for those who are still learning technology meaning switching is as easy as possible.

Pros

As an entry level CRM for small business. Nutshell has helped me during my entire career and to grow in my position.

Cons

As they are a smaller company. Features and Quality of Life updates can take time especially when newer bigger updates are added.

### "Poor Support "

June 10, 2026

1.0

Tried to cancel after three weeks of going around and around with the help desks and videos, only to learn much of what we thought would be automated was indeed manual. The time wasted with the customer service was so high that it made making this determination prohibitively time consuming. Tried to get the remaining money back and was refused.

Pros

It appeared easy in the beginning. That proved to not be the case. Very little that appeared automated initially was actually automated.

Cons

The help desk (AI and human), along with the training videos were so poor that it made it difficult to determine the many things that were manual (instead of automated), making usability very poor.

### "Fits our needs, with a few unnecessary steps"

May 7, 2025

4.0

Overall, it is better than another solution we beta tested. It isn't my preferred email platform, however, it does have good tracking for CRM, which email platforms largely lack. I would love if the email platform could catch up with other software!

Pros

It is pretty easy to use. The interface is detailed but clear. It covers the bases for what we need for a CRM and the way we do business.

Cons

There are a few extra steps that I would personally remove for the tasks I use Nutshell for, including sending newsletters and regular communications. Also, the email builder is a bit clunky. For example, I have to add a new block to put a bulleted list in. I don't see why that can't exist within the text box. When I add content, I have to cut and paste and edit in a way that pulls out lists. The lists are also not very editable, meaning I can't adjust how they appear, indent, etc. the way I can in a marketing email platform.

Switched from

[Copper](https://www.capterra.com/p/141642/Copper/)

Copper did not meet our needs. It was harder to use, more expensive, and didn't integrate the way we wanted with Outlook.

### "Useful CRM"

December 17, 2025

4.0

We use Nutshell extensively for managing customer interactions, maintaining a presence with our customer base and automating certain outreach processes. We could use some more flexibility with how the software works.

Pros

Nutshell does a good job of organizing and maintaining full records of interactions, conversations, emails, and notes with our customers. The relationship of Person to Company to Lead is useful. The communication tools for reaching out to customers directly from Nutshell are also very good. The commitment to an available REST API is essential for our use and something I really appreciate and respect about Nutshell.

Cons

There is limited flexibility in some of the features of Nutshell. For example in the automations, it is limited as to what can be used to trigger the next step or to trigger an automatic email/communication. I wish that leads could function more completely as orders in and of themselves, with the ability to include percentage based line items such as sales tax or apply discounts to all of the products on a lead. I would like to see more flexibility in general to reflect how different businesses might operate.

### "Nutshell Makes You Money"

December 20, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Nutshell has been very positive. It has given our team much better visibility into our contacts, communications, and pipeline, which has made our day-to-day work more organized and intentional. The reporting tools have been especially helpful for our marketing efforts. We are able to review the data, adjust our messaging based on what we are seeing, and make more informed decisions about where to focus our efforts. As a result, we have seen an increase in project volume and a clearer understanding of what is working.

Pros

I love that Nutshell keeps a complete comms history for every contact. It's helpful to see the history, as well as keep tabs on when emails are viewed. The customizable pipelines keep my leads organized.

Cons

The inbox function can be glitchy by getting caught in a refresh cycle. It also doesn't offer a bulk delete function, so there's a lot of junk alongside my important emails.

### "Nutshell for a Property Management "

December 17, 2025

4.0

Overall a good experience. It did help reach our goal into understanding where the leads come from, geographical area, referrals, agents, etc.

Pros

Our management company started using this software back in February 2024. The goal of the system fpr us was to track and identify sources of new leads and monetary value of every single one of them. The system guarantees security in its overall everyday task and it provides great customer support if something is not clear. Client accounts are arranged based on what we prefer, date in first approach, properties, etc. Overall I would say that thanks to its email management and contact management, its gives value for money spent.

Cons

Sometimes the system creates duplicates, and it makes my job a little confusing as I need to redirect the lead.

### "Simple, Effective CRM That Delivers"

December 24, 2025

5.0

Overall, we’ve been very happy with Nutshell. It’s easy to use, widely adopted by our sales team, and supports consistent execution without unnecessary complexity. The platform does exactly what we need it to do and provides strong value for the business.

Pros

Nutshell is easy to use, quick to adopt, and well suited for teams that want a CRM to support selling rather than become a project to manage. Pipelines are clear and customizable, activity tracking is straightforward, and managers get solid visibility into performance without heavy reporting or admin work.

Cons

Because Nutshell is intentionally simple, it may not offer the depth of customization or advanced reporting found in larger enterprise CRMs. Organizations with highly complex workflows or heavy automation requirements may eventually outgrow it, even though that same simplicity is what makes it effective for day-to-day sales execution.

### "Nutshell is a game changer!"

Overall it's been great having the ability to bring in new customers and have the ability to track their progress has been a game changer.

Pros

It allows me to manage my leads and manage existing leads so no one is forgotten or left out. It also is easy to keep track of potential customers and what stage they are in the sales process.

Cons

### "Does one thing, and does it well"

February 27, 2026

4.0

We share Sales across three functional groups in my company, and Nutshell helps us stay organized. We particularly like the ability to bcc Nutshell when we email a prospect and the email is automatically populated in their profile. Nutshell does one thing, and it does it well.

Pros

Nutshell just gets the job done. No fancy bells and whistles; if you want to track leads and manage prospects in a simple, straightforward way, Nutshell is what you need.

Cons

Nutshell can feel a bit dated at times, like old enterprise SaaS software. There are definitely more modern features in the platform, but the UI could use updating to help direct use of those features a bit better.

### "A Practical CRM That Actually Gets Used"

Pros

Nutshell is one of the most user-friendly CRMs we’ve used as a marketing agency. We’ve been in and out of the platform for almost 10 years, and it’s remained a reliable option whenever we want something powerful without unnecessary complexity. The mobile app is excellent for logging notes and updates right after meetings, and the email and calendar integrations keep everything organized in one place.

### "Real visibility into our funnel for the first time"

August 31, 2026

4.0

Good. We came off email, spreadsheets, and homemade tools, so almost anything would have been an improvement, but Nutshell earned adoption rather than just being tolerated. The setup phase took longer than expected, mostly because the platform gives you so many valid ways to structure things that we had to make a lot of decisions ourselves. Once we settled our pipeline stages and naming rules, the reps used it daily and leadership finally had visibility into the funnel. Support has been responsive and our onboarding contact stayed involved well past the initial calls, which is not something I have experienced with other vendors.

Pros

Lead management is the strongest part. The structure of company as the record, people hanging off it, and a separate lead for every project at that account matches how our reps actually sell, and the custom pipeline stages with automatic follow-up tasks mean nothing sits untouched. Reps can log a visit by voice right after they walk out, which is the difference between activity getting captured and getting forgotten. The user interface is clean enough that a sales team with no CRM background picked it up quickly. That mattered a lot for us. Email management and team collaboration are better than we expected for the price. Outlook sync pulls replies into the lead timeline, email templates handle no response follow ups, and audiences let each rep group their own accounts and send a targeted blast without touching a separate marketing tool. Our leadership can see the whole funnel across the team instead of asking for status updates. Value for money is a genuine strength. This does most of what the enterprise CRMs do at a fraction of the cost, and the onboarding calls with a dedicated rep were included rather than a paid add on.

Cons

The thing I like least is honestly the flip side of a strength. Nutshell is so configurable that there is rarely one obvious right way to set something up. Pipelines, stages, tasks, tags, products, audiences, drip sequences, custom fields, all of it can be built several different ways, and the platform will happily let you do any of them. We spent real time debating whether a customer's multiple products should live on one lead or split into separate leads, how to title leads, and how to handle an account that closed but keeps generating new work. None of those are the software failing, but a stronger set of opinionated defaults or recommended templates by industry would have saved us weeks of internal back and forth. Smaller things: the mobile app is behind the web app, and the native ERP integrations are limited to a couple of accounting platforms, so anything else means middleware or a custom API build. The mobile app lags behind the web app, which is a problem for outside reps who want to update from the car. Native ERP integrations are essentially QuickBooks and Intacct, so a manufacturing ERP means middleware or a custom API build, and reporting on quoted versus actually booked revenue takes work outside the tool. There is also no clean pattern for an account that closed won but keeps producing new revenue. You end up cloning leads and hoping the historical record stays intact.
