It helps us out a lot streamlining and setting up reminders for the many steps that we have in our sales.

Pros

Nutshell helped our company immensely on streamlining the operations. It's pretty intuitive, therefore pretty easy to integrate it with your day-to-day work and get other colleagues used to it.

Cons

Customer support took a little longer to solve my issue than I wanted, but what mattered is that in the end it was solved.

We are really just getting started with this tool. We love the email feature- it's been very easy to get an email program up and running. Excellent, intuitive user interface. Looking to use more landing page and visitor IQ data.

Pros

We receive Nutshell use as part of large agency agreement to a suite of various marketing platforms and tools. Excellent value for money. The fact that we can access landing page development, customer lead data etc. quickly and easily within a great UX is awesome.

Cons

Some limitations on how accessible it is to export customer data. Would like 2 way, real time updates to meeting management so availability is current.

The onboarding is easy, and the customer service team is available for questions. Their Knowledge Library helps keep stay updated with how to utilize the CRM. They also do a great job with monthly workshops to learn more about the features.

Intuitive Interface Clean design and easy navigation make it accessible for non-technical users. Customizable Pipelines Sales pipelines and stages can be tailored to match your specific sales process. Email Integration & Automation Syncs with Gmail/Outlook, allows for automated follow-ups and email sequences. Mobile App Mobile experience for managing contacts and pipelines on the go. Team Collaboration Includes activity tracking, team assignments, and in-app messaging. Affordable Pricing Competitive pricing compared to Salesforce or HubSpot, especially for smaller teams.

Cons

Basic Reporting Features Reporting and analytics are functional but lack advanced custom dashboards or forecasting tools. Marketing Tools Are Light Basic email marketing is included, but not a full marketing suite (e.g., no landing pages or A/B testing). No Free Plan Only offers a free trial; not ideal for early-stage startups looking for a free tier.

We share Sales across three functional groups in my company, and Nutshell helps us stay organized. We particularly like the ability to bcc Nutshell when we email a prospect and the email is automatically populated in their profile. Nutshell does one thing, and it does it well.

Pros

Nutshell just gets the job done. No fancy bells and whistles; if you want to track leads and manage prospects in a simple, straightforward way, Nutshell is what you need.

Cons

Nutshell can feel a bit dated at times, like old enterprise SaaS software. There are definitely more modern features in the platform, but the UI could use updating to help direct use of those features a bit better.

So far we have had a positive time using nutshell it has helped us create a better view of our client accounts while being user friendly enough to be easily picked up by salesguys who have never used a CRM tool.

Pros

I am enjoy nutshell for its easy contact managment capabilitys. Being able to link mutiple leads/quote an view them all under a company/person in Nutshell has given us the ability to stay more organized.

Cons

We would like to see more customization in the quote tool and we would also like the mobile app to have full functionability

Overall, I am new to Nutshell, but have enjoyed it so far. It is user friendly and with a little practice, I've caught on quickly to some of the unique features it offers.

Pros

I like being able to see all of the progress my lead has made in one place start to finish. It helps me build my relationship with the client and provide better support when they encounter issues. It is also helpful to have all email communication in one place, regardless of the account emailing them. There are less repeated conversations, and it saves us time and money.

Cons

I have struggled to connect my calendar using the scheduler and have worked with Nutshell's support team to help figure it out. It is an ongoing issue but Nutshell's support has been quick and helpful.

Overall, it is better than another solution we beta tested. It isn't my preferred email platform, however, it does have good tracking for CRM, which email platforms largely lack. I would love if the email platform could catch up with other software!

Pros

It is pretty easy to use. The interface is detailed but clear. It covers the bases for what we need for a CRM and the way we do business.

Cons

There are a few extra steps that I would personally remove for the tasks I use Nutshell for, including sending newsletters and regular communications. Also, the email builder is a bit clunky. For example, I have to add a new block to put a bulleted list in. I don't see why that can't exist within the text box. When I add content, I have to cut and paste and edit in a way that pulls out lists. The lists are also not very editable, meaning I can't adjust how they appear, indent, etc. the way I can in a marketing email platform.

It's very easy and intuitive for a small business owner! I was intimidated by some of the CRMs for large enterprise, like Salesforce and HubSpot. Nutshell works the way my mind does. Especially love that we can run campaigns so easily.

Wish it had an easier follow up system than me always generating the next step, but that still works.

I am a regional director. I use nutshell almost daily to mainly track my potential customers and leads.

Pros

I like how all customers, contacts, and leads are connected. Great integration with outlook.

Cons

I wish the mobile app was more friendly. Seems buggy at times. Really wish the mapping feature was more robust so I could better identify customers/prospects that I have entered while I am on the road. It is also cumbersome to add a new customer, notes, and contacts while using the mobile app. I always take notes in my phone on the iphone notes app and then go through those notes and enter when i am on my laptop. \*\*\*\*I really wish I didn't have to download pictures to view them once they have been uploaded!!!! makes no sense!

I had issues moving my information from Pipedrive to Nutshell CRM. But it looks like a good platform for CRM with a few more features than Pipedrive CRM.

Positive! I think the NS team makes improvements regularly and whenever our company has an issue, it's addressed quickly.

Pros

I love the ability to track client communications, leave notes for colleagues, and have all client information in one place. I like the engagement tracking tools in NS Marketing, which is where I spend most of my time.

Cons

Because I use NS for communications, and it's what we use for our email marketing, I have an issue with the lack of drip sequence options. Additionally, I wish that instead of just HOW many link clicks occurred in an email, that I could just pull the list of those names. I know I can see what they clicked in their profiles but not directly from the email engagement portion.

Pros

I enjoy the ease of use for a non tech person. The layout is very user friendly. Support is great and very helpful!

Cons

This might be more on me than the program but it wasn't easy to figure out how to do repeat sales in the pipeline.

No scheduling. I have to use nutshell in conjunction with Jobber to run my business fully.
