### "Simple, reliable CRM with excellent support for small teams"

December 17, 2025

4.0

Overall, we have had a positive experience with Nutshell. It is a reliable, easy to use CRM that covers the essentials well and keeps things simple. Support is consistently excellent, and the product feels well suited to smaller teams that value usability over heavy customisation. There are areas that could be improved, particularly reporting and lead tracking, but on balance we are happy with the platform.

Pros

Nutshell is a solid, well thought through CRM that works particularly well for a small team. The interface is simple and intuitive, which makes it easy to onboard new users and keep day to day usage consistent. Customer support is a real strength - the team are always quick to respond and genuinely helpful when questions or issues come up. For core CRM needs like contact and lead management, it does exactly what we need without unnecessary complexity.

Cons

Reporting could be more powerful and flexible, especially as you start to want deeper insights. We also found limitations with the built in web forms and tracking, which meant we eventually had to move lead capture to a third party tool. While it works very well for a small team, there are some open questions around how it would scale for larger or more complex organisations.

### "Great for organizing and keeping up with people for your business."

December 18, 2025

4.0

If it wasn't for Nutshell, I would have to keep a separate document to keep tabs on hundreds of people at a time, continuously searching my email to see if the person responded or if I still hadn't responded yet, having a separate calendar just for reminders to follow up with people after a certain amount of time, etc. However, with Nutshell, that is for the most part automated and all in one place- not to mention having email templates ready to go that plug and play with names and other saved details! It saves me hours in my workday. I can just start doing the task I am supposed to because the list is there ready to go.

Pros

The non profit I work for uses this software to have one place to track and follow up with people that are interested in knowing more about what we do (that hopefully leads to working with us). Once you understand what features are there, it is very easy to use. I am on and off Nutshell all day, and have to teach other teammates how to use it sometimes. The automations make it easy to communicate with your network once a new person drops into your pipeline. That takes one thing off of my plate, but still leaves a personal touch with the person on the other side of the email/text. Setting reminders (aka activities) keeps me on task without having to backtrack to figure out what my next step is. You just keep moving forward! And customer support is nice because if I have a FAQ, then the chat bot can answer it. The bot starts off by saying if you want to talk with a real person then say that and we will get you connected, so there is no waiting and being frustrated with a robot.

Cons

The hard part of Nutshell is the same as any tech related thing. You have to figure out the different features. Nutshell provides support and trainings that give you an overview of how to use it as well as updated trainings when a new feature is added. So, once you learn the new feature, you are able to integrate it into making your job easier.

### "SonarMD x Nutshell"

December 21, 2025

4.0

Overall, we have had a good experience with Nutshell and appreciate the efforts to solve problems in a timely fashion when they arrive and adapt functions if we have a product improvement suggestion.

Pros

Nutshell is fairly easy to use, even for people who are not familiar with CRM services. I like that there has been an uptick in customization features which has helped us adapt the pipeline in the most efficient way for the sales team.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult to pull reporting information and then to have that be cross functional with Excel. I also wish we would get a weekly activity summary.

### "Nutshell has grate customer service, product is easy to understand, and it is price very well- very flexible terms"

December 17, 2025

4.0

Overall, we don't regret choosing to be with Nutshell as our CRM. Data management and sales performance monitoring is reliable. We were more focused on what really matters

Pros

Great Customer Service Experience- easy to reach out and very friendly. App is really easy to understand so despite the complex business process, we were able to tweak it and make it fit to our needs. It is also not overly price- i'd say it's on our sweet spot.

Cons

We are somehow bothered by how data redundancy is approached, detected or managed especially when you are uploading by batch- it is tough. Data filtering and Sorting is quite limited so im hoping that they will improve that.

### "Easy to use, user-friendly, great customizations!"

December 17, 2025

5.0

I’ve been using Nutshell for a couple years now, first as a general user and now an admin too. It gets daily use from me and not having it would make my life so much more needlessly difficult. It truly solves a lot of minor problems and makes managing the larger issues much simpler. Having it interface with our existing system is amazing and saves a ton of time and expense for not having to migrate things from a legacy system.

Pros

How easy to use and onboard new employees, the overall level of customization available especially for integrating with our existing systems, and the short overall learning curve to use and customize it for our needs.

Cons

There’s really nothing to dislike from my end, it’s really easy to use and more importantly really easy to customize so that we rarely run into issues with it and when we do, it’s a user issue and not a platform issue. I honestly wish every other software was this well thought out!

### "Nutshell in a Nutshell"

December 17, 2025

Smooth and simple. The company behind Nutshell is nothing but helpful and accommodating. They have really helped us through set up or bugs encountered. They will even go as far as helping you with imports through there White Glove Service for those who are still learning technology meaning switching is as easy as possible.

Pros

As an entry level CRM for small business. Nutshell has helped me during my entire career and to grow in my position.

Cons

As they are a smaller company. Features and Quality of Life updates can take time especially when newer bigger updates are added.

### "Great system for growing businesses"

December 17, 2025

4.0

We've been using Nutshell for 4.5 years, and it's been pivotal in growing our business and connecting with our customers.

Pros

There is quite a bit of customization with Nutshell and it serves very well as a platform for goods/retail services. Personally I like the ability to do Marketing and drip campaigns within the system, as well as making/logging calls within the system.

Cons

Unfortunately for my team, Nutshell is geared more towards products than services. We've had several custom requests or ideas come up over the year that Nutshell can't/hasn't put in, so we're forced to either shelf the idea or come up with a substitute.

### "Nutshell(in a nutshell) it just works"

December 17, 2025

5.0

Nutshell unlike other CRMs brings direct returns. Our Sales staff were able to hit the ground running very quickly. Too many other products require less technical people to become more savvy and that causes resistance, and slow uptake. Nutshell, Just works, and the users "get it"

Pros

Nutshell has a very user friendly and intuitive user interface. The API gives access to numerous data points to aid in Process Integration I especially like the feed back on Emails sent through the system. way more useful than basic Non-Delivery reports

Cons

I would like to see an additional API for the marketing section. this would make it much easier to automate customer contact feedback

### "Nutshell Makes You Money"

December 20, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Nutshell has been very positive. It has given our team much better visibility into our contacts, communications, and pipeline, which has made our day-to-day work more organized and intentional. The reporting tools have been especially helpful for our marketing efforts. We are able to review the data, adjust our messaging based on what we are seeing, and make more informed decisions about where to focus our efforts. As a result, we have seen an increase in project volume and a clearer understanding of what is working.

Pros

I love that Nutshell keeps a complete comms history for every contact. It's helpful to see the history, as well as keep tabs on when emails are viewed. The customizable pipelines keep my leads organized.

Cons

The inbox function can be glitchy by getting caught in a refresh cycle. It also doesn't offer a bulk delete function, so there's a lot of junk alongside my important emails.

### "Nutshell is Great!"

December 18, 2025

5.0

I'm very happy with Nutshell. It's affordable, easy to use, and the customer support is great. It seems like they're constantly investing in themselves, too.

Pros

Nutshell is very easy to use. It's easy for people to learn, and it's easy to self-navigate. Creating email templates is quick, too. It's also very affordable.

Cons

Nutshell is very simple, which can be frustrating. There are time we want it to do things like creating different outcomes in the lead stages, but it can't do that for us.

### "Admissions Consultant Nutshell Review"

December 17, 2025

4.0

Overall, my experience with Nutshell has been positive. It’s a reliable CRM that supports day-to-day admissions and sales activities effectively. With some improvements around automation and reporting, it has the potential to be an even stronger tool for admissions consultants working in fast-paced, target-driven environments.

Pros

What I liked most about Nutshell is how intuitive and user-friendly the platform is. It makes it easy to manage leads, track communication, and stay organised throughout the admissions and follow-up process. The clear pipeline view and activity tracking help ensure that no prospective student is missed, which supports both productivity and conversion goals.

Cons

One challenge is that some processes could be more streamlined or automated, especially when handling high lead volumes. Certain actions require multiple steps, which can slow down workflow during peak periods. Additional automation and customization options would improve efficiency. Also the mobile version is very non-user friendly.

### "Transparency is KEY"

August 29, 2025

5.0

So far, it's been pretty self-explanatory with any data entry I have done. I have sent a few emails through the templates I created and it literally took seconds vs minutes it would've taken me previously. I love the transparency that is seen by admins/management/sales people and that we all have access to see the same things

Pros

I like the transparency it provides for sales people, management, and admin. I like the dashboard features and that I can choose what I want on my own dashboard vs our old program where admins all had the same sign in information and the sales manager decided what was going to be displayed on the dashboard. I like that I have easier access to hot/open leads without looking up a specific name or address. I love the text/email feature where I was able to set up specific email templates that I can send to whichever customer needs to have one sent within seconds and a couple clicks.

Cons

The only thing that I've really come across so far is just the repetitive data entry information if you don't enter in the correct order. For example: If I enter a customer as a lead before I enter them as a person, their data (address, phone number, email, etc) does not pull over. Whereas if I enter them as a person first and then click create lead, it pulls all the data over. We figured that out pretty early during our integration, so we just make sure we put the person in first, then create the lead.

Switched from

[MarketSharp](https://www.capterra.com/p/130642/MarketSharp/)

I believe to have more transparency between multiple positions within the company and to have data easier to find when looking something/someone up and also when entering data into the system. We are all also able to see the same things whereas previously, we all had different levels of access to customer information and past sales information

### "Great tool for lead and customer management for small business"

December 17, 2025

4.0

As part of the sales staff at a small business I enjoy working with Nutshell, it is straightforward to onboard and operate and performs its job as a CRM admirably. I would like to deepen our company\`s use of Nutshell\`s different tools internally and hope to bring the b2b marketing function over to Nutshell as an example. We also value it for lead management.

Pros

The ease of setup and use, the facility in onboarding new team members and the ability to go deeper with their tools.

Cons

In the basic plan more premium features are teased unnecessarily and ideally sales pipeline email follow ups would be part of the basic plan. It can be difficult to convince other parts of the business like Marketing to move away from their tools to

### "Nutshell is the BEST"

December 25, 2025

5.0

FAR exceeded our expectations coming over from ACT that we had used for 20 years. We can't say enough how much we enjoy working with, and benefit from using, Nutshell.

Pros

Where to start: 1. Database filtering is awesome 2. Emarketing tools are easy to use 3. Marketing metrics capture is very helpful 4. Customer support is outstanding, whether same day online chat, or easily setting up a video call back

Cons

1\. Some of the canned reports could have broader functionality 2. Would like to see an ability to create custom reports. All of the data is there, but extracting it in a customizable, meaningful report format is lacking.

### "Came From Salesforce Never Going Back"

December 18, 2025

Overall, Nutshell provides a great product at a very reasonable price. Nothing but good things to say about this tool.

Pros

Coming from Salesforce, the ease of use and plug and play aspect of this CRM is a breath of fresh air. It has made our lead management and sales funnel a breeze. Anytime we have approached their team with an issue its always a solutions first upsell never type of approach.

Cons

I really enjoy this CRM, it’s very intuitive, and I use it for my everyday tasks, like managing emails, leads, and adding contacts. It’s especially convenient when adding a person directly from an email using the Nutshell Extension.

Pros

The CRM is very easy to use and efficient, and the customer service is phenomenal. It’s extremely helpful for finding clients and managing their accounts.

### "Simple, Effective CRM That Delivers"

December 24, 2025

5.0

Overall, we’ve been very happy with Nutshell. It’s easy to use, widely adopted by our sales team, and supports consistent execution without unnecessary complexity. The platform does exactly what we need it to do and provides strong value for the business.

Pros

Nutshell is easy to use, quick to adopt, and well suited for teams that want a CRM to support selling rather than become a project to manage. Pipelines are clear and customizable, activity tracking is straightforward, and managers get solid visibility into performance without heavy reporting or admin work.

Cons

Because Nutshell is intentionally simple, it may not offer the depth of customization or advanced reporting found in larger enterprise CRMs. Organizations with highly complex workflows or heavy automation requirements may eventually outgrow it, even though that same simplicity is what makes it effective for day-to-day sales execution.

Pros

Cons

Not sure we have any dislikes yet and hope we will not have any or only a few if there is. There may be things we might want (none yet), that are not in here at the moment, but feel Nutshell would try to add if possible because they are always adding new things.

Overall I am a fan and use it as a consultant with two difference companies. Again, it is a nice way to have a lot of automation for a small company without having to spend a lot on one of the "big" CRM tools which can be too complex and too big (and too much money!)

Pros

We're big fans of the product and rely on it to run many parts of our business. The mobile app allows for on-the-go solutions, email integrations are powerful for historical context, and it's highly intuitive to use versus legacy competitors. Pros
