Pros

The ease of use in regards to building a subscription based website.

Cons

As a visual learner, it would be helpful if video tutorials were available instead of just articles.

Reason for choosing Subbly

The ability to sign in and start and not spend multiple hours or a large amount of money to integrate apps.

Beautiful design and simple integration. Also quite affordable.

Pros

I think the fact that the team is constantly adding new features is what makes Subbly such a great product. It is always evolving!

Cons

Well. it feels like Subbly is just getting started so it might lack of the functionality of some competitors. But as I said, features keep on coming, so I think it will fully catch up and overcome the competition soon. It is an investment!

It’s been really good. Very good customer service and new killer processes. What this means is that I can offer my subscription box customers a smooth and fast services which is key. I can’t use a service that makes my customers life more difficult

Pros

The new checkout upgrade has been phenomenal for my customers. Ease of use and a slick interface means my customers have a no hassle experience. I can’t twll you how valauable this is for me to grow my business

Cons

Some functionality vs some of the competitors is less available. Not a big deal as it’s not super core to the business. Bells and whistles mostly. The new checkout process is killer though so that’s what swayed my decision to go with these guys

Pros

The customer service. As I was setting up my custom domain, I hit a couple snags on my end and Subbly was even willing to assist me with my settings on Namecheap to correct them. This is above and beyond what I expected.

Cons

There aren't many themes. I wouldn't move away from Subbly in favor of a provider with 100 themes though, as I am extremely satisfied with everything else that Subbly has provided.

The tech support makes Subbly one of the best services I've ever used. Subbly must make great money from their high transaction volume subscribers... I'm a very low-transaction volume subscriber, and yet, they treat me as if I were a high transaction volume subscriber. They rock!

Pros

Ease of customization, very intuitive, and coder-friendly. The best part is their super responsive chat-based tech support. It rules! They care, and it shows!

Cons

My business offers more of a digital subscription box, not a tangible one that's snail-mailed each month. They support only the subscription box business model. To be fair, that is their chosen target, and it's me who is trying to force my business model on top of theirs. But Subbly is the closest service I can get that meets most of my needs without a massive jump up to a 100+/mo service like Kartra.com

One of the main sells of this platform for me is the customer service. They answer promptly and are quite knowledgeable on the products offered (not many companies can boast this from my experience!) I can't even remember the other platform that I used prior to this to market/sell my product as they made it for intermediate to advanced builders that made manipulation more difficult for me. I really appreciate the service that Subbly provides and hope more US -based customers find this!

Pros

I love the flexibility and selection of the templates provided. I was able to use my brand colors as well as add little details including a funnel (which I'm currently working on.

Cons

One thing that could be improved is the cart creation. This was my least favorite part of building the site, but this may be due to my lack of knowledge. Customer service was there to assist whenever I had an issue.

Subbly has made running my subscription box a dream! The software is easy to navigate, and incredibly budget friendly. I will be keeping them for a long time.

Pros

The ease in setting it up and integrating it with my website. And the their tech support... 10/10!

Cons

The only feature I would like to see improved.... I've received a notice that improvement is already in the works and will be released soon, that was the shipping schedules for annual purchases.

Pros

The customer service is top-notch! No matter if I have a small trivial question or a big problem, there is someone there to help. They will do their best to figure out a solution.

Cons

Sometimes things can be a little hard to figure out on my own, but there is a library with easy step by step instructions and the chat is there whenever I'm stuck.

It was the best fit for my needs. It's a great all-in-one option.

After problems with other service providers, the Subbly platform provides everything we need to run our subscription box business all in one place and is great value for money. Their customer service is incredible and they always respond really quickly to any queries.

Cons

There isn't currently an option to accept Paypal, but I believe this feature will be available soon

Pros

Subbly has a lot of good features, but I have to highlight their customer service - it is outstanding and I have never experienced it on that level before from any SAAS company. Truly admirable.

Cons

To be quite honest I cannot think of anything worth mentioning - only some minor details, but that is quite technical.

It's been good, I've run into some problems, one which seems to hasn't been solved and continuously is a problem.

Pros

I like that I don't need to deep dive into a huge learning curve of website building or hundreds or thousands right off that bat for a business that might not take off.

Cons

It is kind of complicated to use and I needed to ask their customer service so many questions. It's not just a "drag and drop" you have to figure out how to set stuff up.

Cons

Checkout not friendly for local pick up (rather than shipping) Can’t duplicate a survey so I spend too much time weekly making minor changes to the previous weeks’ survey and resetting customers preferences

I'm really liking the ease of use with this software for my subscription business - it's so easy to integrate into my Wordpress site! Help is only a click away and the backend just flows!

Cons

The one time add on - need to open up to more options others than size, material, colour. You can only choose this 3 set items.

brilliant, the customer service team have been so helpful

Pros

The ease of the set up was great and the step by step instructions to put it on my website was very useful. The dashboard is laid out so very clear.

Cons

I'd like to have the option to have one button which I can put on my website instead of the 4 I currently have to accommodate my subscription options. The formatting and the looks as I have to space them so far apart so customers can see the box enough to order. I would also like to see a test of each option so I have more of an idea how the checkout looks and works. Option to integrate paypal instead of stripe.

After doing a subscription box coaching, I was encouraged to use Subbly for my subscription box business. Considering I was totally clueless and very nervous about websites, with the help of the Subbly Team, they patiently gave me a by step by step solution to my numerous questions. They were able to test my website and check that everything was running smoothly before I launched. Subbly is prefect for my sub business, keeps track of everything. I love Subbly, there still more I need to learn, but I have taken off and I know that help is readily available.

Pros

The drag and drop features, integration with Stripe and MailChimp.

Cons

The initial video I watched was very bad quality my very least favourite.

Cons

a lot of manual changes to be done every month. You cannot add on more than one box on one account if you have multiple different boxes

much easier to organise your monthly subs, sizing and recurring payments - only been using it a month so I' sure I will familiarise myself more with the uses

Pros

Great system, completely set up for sub boxes, I'm totally new to this and wish I had intergrated it to my website sooner. Only downside was I found it difficult to embed in my wix website. I thought since I managed to built the website myself I could manage but turns out I had to get someone to do it for me. But definitely worth it and customer service is excellent.

Cons

Intergration I found difficult and wish you could transfer all existing subscribers over as I already had 40 subscribers which couldn't be migrated over

Pros

This software is great for allowing us to set up and manage customer subscriptions and allow the flexibility for them to pick and choose what products are in there subscription.

Cons

The software is a bit expensive, especially if you add a number of individual product choices.

Subbly has brought together all the tools necessary for me to start my small business with ease. All the availabile apps, and additional software needed to process orders has been amazingly helpful. I honestly feel Subbly is the ideal software for what I need, and in order to succeed as a small business.

Pros

Absolutely loved the ease of use and the responsiveness of the support staff. Everything had a detailed article on the FAQ and has been a smooth process in getting the shop setup.

Cons

The inability to set a limited availability quantity. However, I do know this is being worked on.

Primarily the monthly pricing options, but also the highly reasonable transaction fees.

Flexibility with billing and great customer service to help whenever I need it!

Pros

What I like most is how easy the software is to use. If I am struggling with something, then the help menu has been informative. If that does not answer my question, customer service is quick to respond. Also, I love that there is quarterly payment options. There is a lot of flexibility with with billing, shipping and other features that it allows me to really make the subscription platform that I want.

Cons

I would like to see more website design features/options to use. However, Subbly is always improving these options.
