Subbly is for me a 10/10 software in his category and probably the best tool/software for entrepreneurs who want to create a subscription box business ! Just what i needed " March 2, 2021 5.0 Overall i love using subbly and i am very happy i found a site which can do everything i need to run my small business :) Pros I was looking for a software which would be able to take payment from customers monthly and a software i could integrate into my website. The website is easy to use and any help i have needed i have had a response in under 24 hours! Cons When setting up my subbly page i found there was a alot of information all at once and some of it were for features i would not be using. The customer service is very good and I found Subbly was easier than some other sites to get set up. They are constantly updating the site with new or better features. Would recommend for sure. Pros It is very easy to use and navigate and was quite easy to set up to be up and running within a day or so. Customer service is great, quick and patient as I am not one to explain myself, but they got it. Subbly had great templates to choose from and on top of that their customer service is out of the park!! I have never felt so welcome and taken care of by a business.. Cons Some functionality can be improved, However, two things I wanted them to improve or introduce they already came out with before I could request it from them! Cons Does not integrate with some of my other systems but I am looking forward to seeing that in the future. I'm happy with the features, the ease of use and their top notch customer service. Pros I really like how easy it is to use. As a small business owner, I appreciate when I can do the work myself instead of hiring someone to do it for me. Subbly makes it really simple to set up my items and my pricing. And they're really quick to answer my questions when I have them. Cons The only thing I wish I could change would be the shipping options. I'm offering flat rate shipping but I would like it to vary depending on the location of the person ordering. I haven't figured out a way to do this. And it would be great if it paired with Square as that's what I was already using. Other than that, it's great and I'm happy I found it. Tons of features out of the box that make the process of setting up a subscription club a breeze. Cons Could use some additional features such as allowing subscribers set their desired shipping day of the month. I don't have any web design experience and was worried I would need to hire someone to assist me but the Subbly team guided me through every step. Pros I like the design and how easy it is to find the functions that I need. I also like that I can save blocks to use again later without having to rebuild it. Cons I would like to be able to update my website and then publish it publicly. Maybe there is a way to do that, but I haven't found it. I feel like I need to update quickly so it doesn't interrupt users. Reason for choosing Subbly cost played a large part. It also seemed nice that the subscription functionality was integrated right into the cart using stripe. Very easy set up without all the hassle that I see from those using other apps. I was looking to use subbly as my actual site and it didn't' quite work out for me and ultimately decided to go with Cratejoy. However, I think this would be a good option if you are just using the subscription checkout on your own site. Pros I like the templates and customizations that are available. I am not a web designer so it's nice to have options to customize my page to my own style/branding. Cons Quite expensive for what you get especially compared to competitors such as cratejoy. April 9, 2020 4.0 Pros I love using Subbly for my seasonal subscription box! I use subtly checkout on my WordPress site and set up and migration was a breeze. Plus its so much more cost effective that my previous platform. Everything I have a question I get a response from their customer service within a few minutes. You'd get a response within a couple of hours, often sooner, unlike another platform I tried where I waited for days without a response and had to send a follow up request for assistance. Pros Once you have the hang of it, it's pretty easy to use and customize your website. Cons Probably that there is no marketplace, but having said that, there's also not another additional fee to list in a marketplace. I was worried I had to put away all that hard work I did on my current Website with adding a sub box. But with Subbly, it was smooth sailing! Pros The setup was easy to use and pretty much foolproof with the step-by-step guide. I love that there is an affordable checkout-only option. Perfect for a quarterly plan. The customer service on the WEbsite and in the Facebook group is amazing. Cons An intergration with Mailchimp would be great.
