If you have 0 skills to build a website that is first in class, with their tools and their stellar support team you literally could be a kid with crayons and they would help you create an image looking like a Monet. Pros Their AI customer support team is out of this world. Attentive, patient, will follow up for literally days to ensure your issue with your site is resolved. From creating and uploading how to videos to offering and scheduling personal virtual meeting to guide your hand through your issue, these guys are your knights. You just can't fail with your goals with a team like this available. Cons Their AI builder can be a hungry hungry hippo and is extremely specific/tedious. It will eat your credits mercilessly if you are not careful. I often tell ChatGPT or Google Gemini what I need Subbly AI to do, and they will provide copy/paste directions I would NEVER have the education/skillset to know how to type to Subbly to get it to do what I want. It is hilarious to have those two talk smack about Subbly. I wish there was a policy/way where if the AI ate $50 of your money and it didn't do what you wanted you could get 1/2 back without going through a committee, as the site can clearly read and record that it failed what it needed you to do and it was its own fault. I started with the AI tool and quickly learned that I didn't understand how to prompt the tool to do what I needed. Thankfully I was lead to the countless tutorials that are clear and sensible. When I couldn't quite get there without help, it was just a message away. Options from complete coding, AI or having Subbly build your site, makes it a one stop shop for those of us with big dreams but little expertise in web design. The back end tools and integrations with STRIPE, Mail Chimp and other useful apps makes setting up the shop itself doable and seamless. I confess I'm still baffled by the way the subscriptions I set up report, but that's getting sorted with lots of "AH HA!" moments on my side. Subbly was recommended to me and I solidly recommend it if you are building something from ground up. Pros The customer service team at Subbly is easily the most personalized I've encountered. \[sensitive content hidden\] , the AI help agent, is a short jump away with a link to relevant how to information. In the even that doesn't work, a human responds, either online or email, within 24 hours. I feel as though this team has not only great talent but also a genuine passion to help others use their tools to reach their business goals. Cons There's a learning curve. This isn't Subbly's fault. It's not magic, it's AI. I had never used AI so I didn't understand how prompting works efficiently. That being said, there are tools within Subbly to walk you though each step. I did not expect building my website to be this easy and I never would have dreamed that i could have this nice of a website without paying designers a lot of money. Pros Subbly is incredibly clear and easy to use. My learning curve has been much more rapid than I would have expected. It is also a great value. Before I used Subbly, the lowest price I had been quoted by web designers was $1600 and that was just for the landing page. I have spent far, far less than that. AND they host my site and keep track of. my sales, etc. I can't believe how much I get for what seems like very little money. The software makes payiing for credits simple. The AI builder works very well with my prompts and I am not someone who uses AI regularly. (I'm a 70 year-old grandmother who had never really used it before.) The customization capabilities seem endless. I have built a complicated website and the AI has been able to do anything that I asked of it. But the best thing of all is the customer service. If I have a problem, it takes no time for them to get back to me. They also host live sessions every weekday where I can talk to the engineers and get them to help me if I need it. They do business like people used to in the good old days when the seller really cared whether or not you were able to use the product and whether or not you were having any problems with it. I cannot say enough good things about Subbly. Cons There is nothing that I don't like about Subbly. This software wants a minimum of 100 characters and I would have to make things up. Pros The customer service was outstanding. She walked me through everything and completely put me at ease. It honestly made my day. Cons There are some prompts to upgrade services, which I completely understand as part of running a business. I started my mail club 2 months ago with zero followers on social media and I'm now entering my 3rd month in business with 1200 active subscribers! I'm convinced that if Subbly didn't make the check out process easy and intuitive for the customer I wouldn't be seeing as much success. Thank you Subbly and all the amazing customer service reps who have the patience to explain things to me a million times until I get it! Pros I love that Subbly is incredibly complex in the back end but is very customer friendly in the front end, is incredibly easy for customers to check out and manage their accounts which increases conversion and reduces amount of customer service related emails. Cons It can have a learning curve if you are not familiar with web applications, buildings websites, etc and because it is a very complex application a lot of things could get overlooked or be hard to find, the good news is they have an incredibly responsive customer service and I know I will always find someone available to chat fairly quickly. Their customer service went above and beyond. They sent me several personalized videos showing how to use their website builder and even extended my free trial. They also invited me to try their new AI website builder which was such a cool bonus. I’m so glad I chose Subbly to create my website. They’ve truly made the process so easy and enjoyable! Cons No cons they were great. They were able to help me with anything I had questions on in a very timely manner.
