### "Made a big difference for us."

Our product is very unique and is a totally new concept. Yotpo has really helped us convince new customers that our product is good and that it works. It also helps people see different combinations of colors and accessories.

Pros

It does a great job showing all the wonderful pictures and video our customers submit.

Cons

Using the admin site can be frustrating because it is slow and sometimes confusing. I'm really annoyed by the emails that encourage you to respond - right in the email -- and when you submit you get a blank screen. That needs to be fixed or scrapped.

Pros

Easy to see all reviews, easy to reject fake ones, easy to comment/see customer info.

Cons

Emails don't integrate well with Gorgias and doesn't let me go directly to the site or reply directly via email without having to open Yotpo. What's the point of integrating if I have to go to the site anyway?

Good so far! I don't have another product review program to compare it to but it does the job

Pros

Really easy to navigate, tons of filters to narrow down results, easy to search using keywords, uploaded photo quality is great

Cons

There's a lot of ads on the version I use, sometimes its hard to load and I have to keep refreshing the page

### "Yotpo Helps You Get Reviews"

I needed reviews for my website and product reviews that would be collected automatically with minimal work on my part. A bonus is that they could be shared to other sites like Facebook, and Twitter.

Pros

I use the free version of Yotpo. It was easy to install on my website and once it was done it started collecting reviews and posting them once I approved them. I haven't had any problems. Yotpo also helps you to easliy post the reviews on your social media sites.

Cons

There's something about navigating the dashboard on Yotpo that I can't get the hang of. Everytime I go on to check and approve my reviews I have to follow my notes. It's not intuitive. I can get it done but it's a small frustration.

Reason for choosing Yotpo

It offered more features to collect reviews plus customizable templates.

Pros

Very easy to promote our business with the marketing and trying to lure repeat customers by providing loyalty rewards and incentives for referrals to our business.

Cons

Nothing at all. So far, this program has been excellent for our business and has had a positive outcome for our business.

Yotpo is pretty easy to implement. It also has a good conversion rate from emails sent after the purchase (much of this depends on the quality of your email). I'm a consultant that has used it with small mom & pop projects and large multimillion dollar businesses. If you are looking for an ecommerce review system, definitely checkout out Yotpo.

Difficulty in updating reviews but this is to be expected. If it was easy, the trust factor would be lost as merchants would potentially be changing their reviews willy nilly.

Pros

The interface is CLEAN, and just looks good. Its simple for people to leave reviews for you. I was able to set up the plugin, customer service was responsive. I had many questions. Features were powerful.

Cons

I don't like how they want to track your sales and want a percentage of them. Although they do allow you to have reviews for a single product without all the bells and whistles. This worked out for us.

Reviews get sales - not just positive ones, even negative ones. Having reviews let's people talk about what they liked or didn't like about a product. Those reviews help people make a decision that they won't regret down the road. YotPo has helped us generate thousands of reviews in a short time - way more than we were getting on our own. As a result, our conversion jumped up site-wide which equals more sales and higher AOV.

Pros

Easy to use, easy to set up, clear ROI calculations, and great customer service.

Cons

The price went up a lot this year. I still think its a great value - it was just a bit of a sticker shock after the price we paid last year. To be fair though - they are now priced according to the rest of the industry.

Yotpo reviews have been a needed part of our growing online business. I wish they offer smaller price packages for small business trying to grow.

Pros

I like how easy the dashboard is to manage the reviews. I like how you can choose to hide or reject scam or unreasonable reviews (reviews under 3 stars). It's amazing how you bend over backwards for customers but then they leave bad reviews anyway. This software allows​ you to choose which ones go public/private. They also allow Product specific reviews or Brand reviews.

Cons

The pricing options. When I discussed the pricing with a salesman they had 2 options. The free plan, or one that costs 8,000 upfront for the year. Unfortunately, as a small business, we cannot jump into something like that not knowing the risk and potentials. However please not that we still do their free plan monthly and get up to 50 reviews per month. This helps on our evergreen products.

Pros

Been using YOPO for about a year. Very good service and offer a lot for the free version. I am now paying for some of the more advanced features. Customer service always gets back to me fast. Never had a problem.

Cons

Some of the Features I would like are only on the higher cost plans and as a small store they I can’t afford them.

Yotpo provided us with the ability to get real "third party" reviews from customers and post them on our site. This gave us instant credibility and validated the quality of our product which led to a higher conversion rate. We were also able to use this customer generated content for social media ads which led to more unique visitors and in turn, more sales.

Pros

The software is extremely easy to use and customize. With Yotpo, we were able to launch with a dedicated reviews page and reviews carousel that was completely customized to fit the look and feel of our site. Emails to customers requesting reviews are super simply and easy to publish to the site. Yotpo has really helped in validating and providing credibility to our product and brand.

Cons

Price. They have pretty aggressive sales reps and only work on annual contracts. While effective, it's by far our largest software subscription in terms of spend. We locked ourselves into the pro version and once you implement it on your site, it's difficult to downgrade to a cheaper version.

It was a breeze to set up. I did end up having a customer service question, which the Yopto folks were able to answer immediately via chat. Their customer service is really excellent!

Pros

Our client had a goal of growing the number of customer product reviews on their Shopify site. Yopto's platform is simple to use, sets up in just a few clicks, and runs well in the background with little to no maintenance.

Cons

Our client has a number of customers who subscribe for monthly shipments. It's easy to add their email addresses to the "do not request reviews" list by hand... but would be a total home run if the platform enabled us to add a customer tag, so we don't have to periodically update.

Great platform, overall on the expensive side for review management platforms, but has some of the best features.

Pros

Ease of integration with Shopify, all features around it allowing to maximize what can be done with the reviews

Cons

Not easy to integrate with google merchant center, making product identifiers match required some manual work on both sides.

Running my cosmetic business requires that I show up as close as I can to the customer and SMS allows me to do that! I've used Yotpo for about 3 years and I have been recently loving the new improvements with campaign planning and templates!

Pros

Yotpo is relatively easy to set up and works well at collecting reviews with custom attributes (size - too big, perfect, too small) etc. Customers are able to leave reviews in the email or online. They have good analytics and sentiment analysis that allows you to understand when customers leave a bad review (even if the star rating is high).

Cons

Yotpo is okay for the price because its the leader in the space. However, for their team and funding size I expected much more. Updating custom attributes is a terrible experience, and if customers leave a bad review that is not true, Yotpo can't do anything about it. There is no way to submit proof that the customer was wrong leaving businesses powerless against lies.

Pros

YOTPO makes it much easier for our customers to give us feedback. Since switching to YOTPO, our reviews have increased greatly over our previous method.

Cons

Integration of the automated reviews could have been a little smoother. But that really is more because of how our eCommerce platform works. Once the integration is completed, it will be awesome!

We have increased our on-site reviews from less than 100 to 1,000+ in a matter of months. The experience has been easy and seamless for me, which is great because I dont have to dedicate a ton of time to it.

Pros

Yotpo was easy to install, easy to monitor and we've seen such great results from it. The customer service team is awesome and always willing to help and troubleshoot (and do it quickly). Highly recommend!

Cons

There are some features that aren't easily customizable so it can cause some frustration when having to outsource or work with their team to get it exactly as you want it. But nevertheless, they're extremely helpful so that's never too much of a pain.

We tried YOTPO for a year. The price was high compared to what we needed, so didn't renew. Needed only the Review function and SEO, not the rest. I think the pricing, which is based on the amount of review e-mails sent, is not a valid way of pricing. It does not take into account the % who respond with a review, which is the more accurate metric. If the price was based on # of reviews received, it would reflect on the product's ease of use. It could also be based on features used, which is another metric based on the value a merchant places on the features. Also, not having the reviews in HTML so it can be searched is a big drawback. Hope this helps.

Pros

\- Sending out reviews w/ up-sell opportunities - Reporting capabilities - User interface to display reviews is nice on the website - Rich snippet feature for SEO

Cons

\- the Moderation menu got more confusing. I liked the old interface better--it was easier to follow. - Support doesn't respond right away. It can take a day or two to resolve an issue. - The Reviews are not searchable so doesn't contribute to SEO.

Pros

I like Yotpo for its built feature of collecting reviews from customers via email. It also provides the review display widget to be put on product pages which is also useful.

Cons

I feel there are a lot of customisation options missing. For instance there are limited days option when it comes to triggering an email for review collection. We can't input the same in other ways. Reporting part could be better in terms of effectively monitoring the numbers.

Pros

Increasing the amount of customer reviews was a major part of our strategy this past year. Yotpo allowed us to do this in an easy way and, best of all, allowed us to present these reviews in a way that gave potential customers the confidence that the reviews from Yotpo were 100% authentic.

Cons

It's not inexpensive, but we have seen the software pay for itself through the sales that it has brought into our business. If you have the ability to test the system out and then track the performance, I would do it.

We've had great feedback since using Yotpo! It's nice to hear honest reviews of or products, site, and services. Even the not-so-good reviews help us figure out how we can up our game. And it's easy to use - just set your parameters and you're on auto-pilot. And make the necessary tweaks as needed.

Pros

Easy to use. Just set up your after purchase email text and select when the email gets triggered and Yotpo does all the rest.

Cons

I wish there was a way for the store owner to comment on customers' answers to questions. Sometimes there are more relevant issues that can be addressed by the store owner, but you can only comment on the original question asked.
