Pros: I'm currently doing the free trial to see how it works, and so far its great! I have 30 days to see get fully acquainted, but so far it seems super customizable with a very user friendly interface

Cons: The price for the best options in the app (after my trial ends) seems a bit steep compared to what I've found in other CRM programs

Less hardware and more innovation.

Pros: Salesforce offers you the most innovative technology to optimize your business processes and achieve a better use of the information generated by them to offer an excellent shopping experience to both your prospects and your current customers.

Cons: The only disadvantage that can be found in Salesforce CRM is the risk that all data is in the cloud, instead of a server.

Overall: Salesforce works through constant innovation and being a cloud-based solution does not require you to purchase additional hardware or equipment or hire more information technology personnel.

Love it. The best all around product I've ever used.

Pros: This software brings everything right into one view that's a full 360 of our customers. There's nothing like it out there on the market.

Cons: The lightning experience is great but they missed a few items in the transition that I hope is cleaned up in the near future.

Pros: Salesforce can be whatever you want it to be, basically. The platform allows for a lot of customization to create new products to improve internal processes.

Cons: There are so many different features within Salesforce it can be difficult to navigate. We've run into issues more than once where we were told an add-on/product could do what we were looking for, only to find out those desires were only possible with a lot of development customization AFTER we purchased them. Support is hit or miss, sometimes it's awesome, other times not so much.

Overall: Lots of integrations with tools we use internally allowing us to automate several processes, meaning we've been able to free people up to do their actual jobs rather than a bunch of admin tasks.

I have used Salesforce for 5 years now, and have really appreciated it.

Pros: It is user-friendly and has really made my job so much easier. I have to keep up with a lot of different clients and Salesforce has really made it easy for organizing all of them.

Cons: It is very broad and has a lot of features. This is a good thing, but also can be overwhelming if you haven't been trained in everything.

Overall: Salesforce has definitely made my job much easier.

I use Salesforce on a day to day basis to track lead generation and product campaign updates.

Pros: The ease of use is pretty good. The sheer size of what data you can hold within one file is pretty impressive. Being able to monitor when leads turn into actual sales, and the monetary value behind it is invaluable. Using the dashboards for daily/weekly updates to share with my team. Understanding what product campaign resonated well with clients/prospects and being able to track the relationship

Cons: There are so many filters that it is sometimes very hard to navigate your way around the interface. Building dashboards could be easier - it does get complicated with all the drop downs. Exporting charts could also be done better.

Overall: Ease of use, huge database, being able to track campaigns and lead generation.

Pros: The possibilities are endless and the integrations with other systems are great. We use SFDC as a source of truth for all ROE transactions.

Cons: We are on the older version so appearance is very dated. The activity doesn't always log with my gmail.

Pros: ability to upload varous campaigns tracking and communicating with peers. excellent mechanism to share best practices.

Cons: the cost os sfc.com at time hampers companies to join. but the long run is that benefits outweigh cost

Overall: luv it

Pros: Activity Tracking, gmail integration, and Data.com. Data.com is my #1 prospecting tool that helps me find the names of the people I am reaching out to.

Cons: Bulky and i wish the reminders feature was more inclusive. I also am still using the classic version vs. the Lightning updates becasue I didn't want to deal with learning the whole new system.

Pros: It offers businesses everything they need to find and retain customers, close transactions and grow their business. It also provides access to data anytime and even on mobile.

Cons: For new businesses, it may look a bit difficult to customize the platform and generating reports may not be friendly at first

Pros: Time-tracking system is generally pretty good as well as the integration with other platforms and softwares.

Cons: Our main usage has just been time-tracking so limited in con feedback. We used to use Chatter but found it a bit limited in what we could do with it so we switched to a better internal communication software

i use salesforce everyday for prospecting, account management and then some.

Pros: Easy to use and integrate with. We have a lot of methods to use to do the integration and create/update accounts, leads all the available objects in SFDC.

Cons: Somethings look like an old school in terms of User Experience, it can be improved to a better customer experience and get it into a better product.

Overall: Create our customer on the side of SalesForce and get it easily on our app side.

We use Salesforce to help track our account information for 1000s of companies. It has been great!

Pros: It is very easy to use and really helps us track and update our clients information when it changes. This makes it very easy to reach out and get in touch with our customers when we need to call for something

Cons: There isn't really anything that I can think of that I dislike about this software. The only thing is fairly minor and that is when it logs me out after sitting in it a little too long.

Overall: Salesforce helps us keep track of changes like personnel and when they move a lot easier.

Good software for what it was built. Works good for our company and the deals we make

Pros: You can easily follow your deals and all conditions. Have different views for people and can add a lot to a company processes

Cons: Not really user friendly. Need to have a training on how to use even simple functionalities. Once you get over it - all good.

Pros: I don't need to develop or maintain software when I use Salesforce. It has various stable features and functions. I only pay for what I need. It is really easy to use. It can be integrated with SAP.

Cons: Salesforce uses a lot of open source technology, so the support for these open source function of Salesforce sometimes drives me crazy. There are a lot of limitations of programming. Although it is easy to use Salesforce standard application, it is difficult for developers to customize these standard applications.

Pros: Easily escalating task management events to plan for the product,Analytical tools favours the most to keep track over the clients

Pros: I love the reports functionality of sales force! I can track the sales pipeline and generate reports on potential clients and the sales team's activities. To be able to quantify that type of data helps me and my team market towards clients.

Cons: Minor nitpick, but I wish Salesforce offers a color blind functionality option.

Pros: The product is user-friendly, you don't have to be a tech savvy to use the product. It's useful in business especially if you are have huge amount of clients to handle. For 8 months of using it I can say that this is really an amazing product. I like how easy it is to use, you can customized it based on your style, very accessible everywhere. I also like that I can use my smartphone to access it. Even If I am on the go I can check what is happening in my team. Just really fantastic and highly recommended. Their support is also great.

Cons: For 8 months of using it, I never encounter serious issues. You just have to learn the product so you won't encounter issues. And no worries, they have friendly staff to support.

Overall: The unlimited support and many uses.

Pros: - easy to track all my opportunities across all my different accounts including stages and decision makers - helps track account connections - gives you a pulse of differnet opporutunites and where you stand in the sales cycle - helps managers understand the level at which sales people are intoracting in each of there account - helps sales forcasting with great deal of accuracy

Cons: -almost a bit to much information and can be overwhelming. -the more time you spend in SFDC the better and easier it becomes as a sales tool - takes time to really gain the full benefit of the tool (take the time to train your sales people on this tool) - can be a bit difficult to customize the tool - so plan for that

Pros: Very flexible, versatile and with a store full of add-on's. It's highly customizable and the software is designed to be comprehensible for everyone even (and specially) outside the IT field.
It have a code editor, a console and even a Eclipse plug-in tailored solutions when are needed.

Cons: With the switch to lightning interface came some confusion since in my team we had to develop for the two interfaces and with lightning not having the full set of options the normal interface had it was difficult.

Overall: Cool implementations with clients. Fast to set up and easy to use.

Salesforce is the industry leader and there's a reason for it

Pros: They have all of the possible integrations, an insanely long list of features (if you want or need to use them, you'll pay dearly), and support through the company and even the community.

Cons: Salesforce's biggest con, quite frankly, is the most obvious. They're expensive. So damned expensive. They have all of the features you need, but you'll have to pay some heavy taxes to get a hold of them. They have the best platform and they know it.

Pros: A great interface for an all in one source for sales management and operations control for sales. Merge all functions for your company into one location with customer information, sales information and price balancing of items. Customer support is top notch at assisting and training available on the software.

Cons: With features and functionality coming with a price that is large - the simple functions come at a large price and all the add-ons are expensive. A lot of set up is needed to get going, not the easiest to navigate without some assistance from support.

Pros: I like the ability to customize and integrate other programs into salesforce.com. It helps with our CRP that is now integrated to put the information at our sellers fingertips.

Cons: sometimes there are too many buttons or functions that it becomes overwhelming. Boiling the ocean type feel. The reports are wonderful but almost a burden.

Pros: The software offers a large amount of value to companies looking to keep track of leads in a pipeline. It also helps keep track of activity with leads that turned to customers, problems they have have. I used Salesforce as a supervisory role, and employees grasped it quickly. I also have used it from an account manager role and it is pretty intuitive.

Cons: Campaigns. Creating and sending campaigns to the audience you want to target from your contacts, decision makers, end users and all other roles is difficult to do.

Overall: Streamlined account management from the sales cycle to the customer stage. Salesforce offers transparency between all levels of staff

I've used Salesforce as an attempt to better strategize and organize sales goals.

Pros: It is very intuitive with keeping track of sales metrics and provides great marketing resources to strengthen recognition of the company within its industry. The software also helps boost a company's online presence, while also managing internal marketing materials that can be kept in one place to better access for sales purposes.

Cons: It is a bit of a learning curve to use at first and causes me to question using a software to track sales.

Overall: It allows me to properly manage sales and opportunity for upselling and future sales, while also allowing the company I am a part of to increase its awareness to potential clients.

Pros: Very easy and convenient to organize contacts and run reports. Stores all pertinent information needed for applications, contacts etc

Cons: Can be very slow especially during peak hours at work. I don't know if it's the server or internal network problems

Pros: I like how easy it is to use this software. You can send any kind of email you can think of. AB testing is great, and the journey builder is a great way to automate anything you would need to.

Cons: My dislikes come from the software itself. For whatever reason they don't allow you to use any coding. Which makes things harder for coding for Outlook and Windows.

Overall: Some of the problems we are solving are all in line with automation. We are able to do so much more with automation and are looking forward to adding, even more, features over time.

Pros: One of the best things is how can i access the Salesforce anywhere, this speed up the process to close the sale. The possibility to create custom views or reports.

Cons: The ones I have is the timeouts that occur sometimes in some pages.

Overall: It helps to manage clients, and follow the steps for every new client.

Pros: It does track all of your leads and has a flow that takes you step by step to close a sale and does integrate with many other online tools

Pros: I can access Salesforce from virtually anywhere which helps to enhance overall productivity. Collaboration is even possible thanks to this Cloud-based design. It supports and works well with all major browser which makes it more useful.

Cons: The emails sent out in one day the entry level plans are capped at a certain limit so if you send and track messages through out the day make sure you know what plan you have and what the limit is. it might be worth upgrading your plan. Does not offer an on-premise hosting solution for your CRM

Overall: It helps your business save more money by creating more efficiencies. Salesforce is a system that is complete and easy to manage. It focuses on closing deals, but also tracks sales activities in real time

Pros: At beginning i like the most the usability of the Salesforce by business user, i never had experience before with a coding of CRM, but Salesforce allows us to create our process, flows and other business activities without writing a single line of code. That was great.
After the deeper usage and better knowledge there is a almost fully customizable platform with a lot of apps, packages and guidelines which allows you to create or reuse almost everything. The trailhead is very useful for every user of Salesforce!

Cons: I would like to have a more functions in a Visual Flow, i'm not using this feature as before, but it's powerfull tool for non coding solution.
- Price, it's not the cheapest solution
- Not very customizable from the technical site (security, configuration, ...), but we can't expect everything from a cloud solution

Overall: - Automatization of business processes
- Transfer of old process to new system
- Possibility of NO CODE solution

Pros: About 10 people work in our company, but in this case SalesForce helps to optimize the business. I can't imagine how people with companies that employ 100 or more people can do without a well thought out CRM.

Cons: Despite the fact that SalesForce is a huge company and they certainly have a sufficient number of specialists responsible for technical support of the project, sometimes one has to wait for 24 hours or more to answer questions.

Pros: I like the ability to track work with the cases, sort lists of cases, as well as creating custom views and reports.

Cons: I get most frustrated with the timeouts and how poorly the page refreshes are when your session has timed out.

Pros: The amount of information, and number of ways we can report that information, is fantastic. We have new insight into our sales data and can easily import into Excel files that we can share with the rest of the company.

Cons: The software is not very intuitive. It took some training and one-on-one time with a SalesForce rep to really appreciate everything the software has to offer.

Pros: The task pane is my very favourite feature of salesforce. It's like having a personal assistant. I'm able to see the list of tasks I have to do for any particular day, a long with times and days. I use the task feature to help me organize all my meetings so that I never miss them! The organization of the dashboard makes using this tool so simple. I'm able to get statistics of all my business opportunities and total leads.

Cons: The layout of the application is a bit out dated.
It would be helpful to have the task pane organized as a checklist that automatically removes tasks that have been checked because it can become very tedious to manage tasks that have been done if you don't remove them instantly. The clean up of tasks can be a hassle.

Pros: Not profit pricing was one of the deciding factors in getting Salesforce, but it's made a huge difference in how we manage our contacts and track projects - previously as a smaller organisatonwe used a bespoke Access database that was creaking. Good intergration with Mailchimp

Cons: We've had to invest a lot of effort and external developer time to set up the system so that it meets our needs and integrates with our website, shop etc.

Overall: Its now a key part of our business. Good to know our customer data is held securely

Pros: Salesforce is ubiquitous and can be used across our multiple teams within our organization. The plugins and ability to work with multiple other platforms is a huge benefit in that we use Salesforce as a central hub for tracking, communicating, and supporting our clients.

Cons: The software is clunky and not intuitive. We have to spend a day training new employees on how to use and navigate the Salesforce ecosystem. When we hit a roadblock their support system is also cumbersome, the first line support is typically over their head with technical requests (which happens to be 90% of our issues). And the software is expensive, we are not a large company and having to spend 6 figures a year for a CRM solution hurts the bottom line.

Overall: Tracking client's issues and being able to have a record of those interactions is extremely beneficial to us. Also having plugins & integrations with Atlassian products and Gainsight is a huge help to us.

Pros: It can really do everything that you need it to, things like a rolodex of your customers, history of what was sent to your customers, customer satisfaction surveys, NPS, CSAT etc. Salesforce provides an easy way to administer for non-technical administrators as well as great tools for developers. It helps me track all of my leads, check my opens and i really like how it is a centralized system and it has all the notes on accounts and prospects. Excellent integration with Google Suite. Not bad reports in real time, I often use them. Also, I see my task list which I need to do, a good built-in scheduler

Cons: Functional but at the same time it's quite expensive.Sometimes you might need someone thats has training in salesforce to run certain reports that you would like to see. Experienced admins know much more than the tier 1 support team and it takes several iterations/escalations to get an issue resolved.

Value for Money

Pros: Good customer support with an active chat system for little problems, or a phone support option for more difficult to explain situations. The CRM side is really nice and the google drive system makes it easy for everyone to have access without being in house. It lets us work together without having to take up a conference room or even a projector

Cons: Works well as long as you stay in the program or their programs, but when you start trying to cross support the data doesn't stack up as nicely as it could

Pros: Functionality is very comprehensive and AppExchange has a large App can be used. We love its Lightning UI and respond speed. It also provide many learning information and documentation for technical or business users. Its ecosystem is also very powerful than other CRM vendors.

Cons: Too expensive for a small business unit or individuals to use. If you choice SalesIQ version, there is not equal functionality with Sales Cloud.

Pros: If you like data (which I do), Salesforce offers comprehensive options for capturing and following leads from the top of the sales funnel, on through closing the deal and beyond. At every stage, Salesforce provides usable data to nurture leads attentively and efficiently.

Cons: There is a big learning curve to Salesforce if you're new to the software. There are so many facets to its capabilities, it may take some dedicated self-training time (or time with one of their reps) to get ramped up, but once you are, it's all smooth sailing.

Overall: Data-backed, simple, effective lead nurturing capabilities, plus a plethora of options for team collaboration and personalized re-marketing efforts.

Pros: It has an incredibly high ceiling for what it can do it you are willing to put in the effort with detailed breakdowns of performance across all clients,

Cons: To get the most out of it really requires either being able to put in a substantial amount of effort or having a colleague already well versed in how it works

Pros: There are a lot of features to Salesforce if you plan to fully utilize this platform. I like that it helps me manager all things on one platform.

Cons: It is too expensive for what we need in our business. It isn't as intuitive as I hoped it would be for someone new to this platform.

Pros: I used this to manage a campaign for a client. I really enjoyed the preview and test email features, it helped me to test out the campaign in real life without wondering what it would look like when a customer saw it.

Cons: While I liked the custom HTML feature for campaigns, I disliked their editor. I had to write the code in my own editor and then copy and paste it. Not the worst, but could be a more streamlined experience.

Overall our sales team really enjoyed using Salesforce

Pros: I liked that you truly could create anything you needed in Salesforce. It is so robust and has so many different features and applications that it will never be a limiting factor for your team.

Cons: because of all of the features and abilities it was a little bit overwhelming at times, but I think that was just because I needed to take more time to understand it and learn how it works.

Pros: This software is a beast. I mean, you can do literally ANYTHING you want as a salesperson with salesforce

Cons: However, understanding it was a bit complicated. Man, I didn't even know which of the softwares listed I used! The features are high quality but hard to implement or understand without an IT team dedicated to it. Besides this, I think it's a little overprices, especially if you are a small company trying to implement it.

Excellent technical support

Cons: No integration at all at starter plans - it seems that all plans are made to force you to upgrade. Otherwise, great software, but we switched to another provider.

Pros: I like the most about SalesForce is that it provides a lot of flexibility and control to the administrators about what they want their customers to be able to see and what not.

Cons: I like it overall but the only thing that bothers me is the cost of it. I would like the price to be reasonable enough for everyone to be able to use it.

Pros: The ease of use for data collection. For example collecting customer data, splicing customer data. Allowing me to set better sales goals

Cons: Although easy to. The learning curve could be lowered. Adding some articial intelligence would help. Think IBM's watson

Pros: I love how you can add nearly any functionality to this software! The app exchange is great for finding additional software/coding/etc to add to your SF instance. It's great!

Cons: The expense. If you want any real functionality out of the box, you need at least Enterprise edition, which can be quite very costly.

Lots of features and capabilities, extremely expensive for simpler use.

Pros: The possible add-ons and integrations with a vast majority of software through open API is really the main attraction from SalesForce, it is built to please everyone and with the proper work input it can do so.

Cons: The price tag is extremely heavy compared to the competition, especially if you use it as a basic CRM and don't take advantage of its connectivity and tons of add-ons.

Overall: The capacity to track and update the information about what our sales team is doing on the road with an easy-to-use dashboard.

The software is also easy to navigate. A simple navigation bar exists at the top of the window.

Pros: Social capabilities. The tool's social media function and news feed operate very much like Facebook, thus making it very familiar as well as easy to use for users. You can quickly browse the news feed and immediately post status updates, share links, and upload files right from the dashboard.

Cons: Pricing. For some small businesses, pricing may also be an issue. Although the helpdesk solution offers affordable prices even for small businesses, the problem may happen when it comes customizing the software and if you prefer using third-party solutions.

Pros: The best part about salesforce is the sharing and collaboration feature. You can share your assignments to your immediate manager with few clicks.

Cons: I dint like the fact that my colleagues can see my report and my tasks as well. I wish there was hidding option.

Pros: Excellent support, which is essential if this software is new to you. Great tracking features. I like how you can switch between screens with ease.

Cons: Can be overwhelming for new users because there are so many different features, and I don't like the chat. Can be complicated to customize. They also like to nickel and dime for features.
