### "A best in class form tool with few drawbacks"

April 27, 2026

5.0

What won me over on FA was its ability to double post to our various form tools in disperate marketing automation systems. While they do not yet have a connector to Salesforce Marketing Cloud Advanced (a big miss for us), they do have connectors to Pardot, Eloqua, and the original Salesforce Marketing cloud. Learning the ins and outs of the tool took some effort but it was well worth it and their free academy and training tools were a serious help.

Pros

FormAssembly is a best in class form building tool and we've tried many. The features are either at parity or exceed the other tools I've had experience with over my tenure as a Marketing Technologist. But the real engine of the tool lies in it's 'workflows' - programs that allow complex decision making at the back end of each form and allow you to connect to different APIs. This unlocks many more capabilities than your average form tool and made it win our company's preferred vendor spot.

Cons

For large organizations FA does not scale cost well. The cost per user exceeds what many enterprise organizations are willing to pay for the functionality. While the UI is straightforward, the tool takes some getting used to due to the level of customization for each field. The integration touchpoints in their connector tool are smooth but also take some tweaking and getting used to. You're likely to fail your first few tests when setting up an integration with a CRM for example. Another drawback lies in it's excel connector - a feature we rely on heavily. They do not integrate directly into Microsoft Sharepoint, instead posting responses to an excel file on one person's OneDrive. The connector also randomly loses it's authenticator connection, making our spreadsheets blank. This has been a frustration for our company as we require this feature for many use cases. If you're comfortable with pulling responses directly from the tool instead, you won't encounter this bug.

We needed to consolidate to one form tool and FA won the feature for feature comparison.

### "FormAssembly - Good Product, Excellent Integration with Salesforce, Poor Support"

March 13, 2026

4.0

Transitioning our forms to FormAssembly has been positive for our organization. The integration with Salesforce has reduced manual input and made the process of data collection far more efficient! The integration with Stripe is also valuable: the process of collecting payments with form submissions is intuitive for customers and automatically connected to records in Salesforce. Our disappointment with FormAssembly has been the service portion of the contract. The technical support is not prompt and doesn't feel reliable.

Pros

The biggest benefit of using FormAssembly for our organization is the integration with Salesforce! This is the primary reason we transitioned our forms to FormAssembly and it continues to be where we find the greatest value.

Cons

Our greatest frustration with FormAssembly is the technical support that is available - both the level of care and the response times.

### "A good starting point but lacks robust enterprise level functionality"

March 19, 2026

3.0

Form Assembly is a solid starting point and provides a clean way for customers to interact with your Salesforce data. The limitations with both the connectors and the interface to build forms is frustrating. Luckily you can get around some of these frustrations by building out custom CSS and Javascript files but I wish that Form Assembly would invest in their roadmap to create a more robust solution.

Pros

Form Assembly is an easy way to gather information from your customers and sync that data to Salesforce.

Cons

Although the connectors are very convenient, they are also highly limited especially when working with 'repeating sections'. Instead of bulk load the records, it processes them one by one which creates an extremely slow UX. Additionally, the 'Skip this step if' functionality cannot evaluate each record within a repeating section. This 2 limitations has caused us to spend a large amount of time finding work arounds for functionality that is critical in providing an acceptable experience for our customers.

### "10/10 would recommend"

March 6, 2026

5.0

We chose FormAssembly after a thorough comparison with other products, and it has not disappointed. We started out with a few use cases we wanted to solve for, but as we've grown more comfortable we use it for a lot more. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone!

Pros

Almost everything! To highlight a few: Paying for users vs # of responses is SO helpful for a not-for-profit, especially when sometimes it's very difficult to predict how many responses a form will get. The Salesforce connector is SO robust - we have a very customized SF instance, so this is an important feature for us. As the connector has gotten more development and more features, it just keeps getting better. The quarterly webinars outlining new features are incredibly helpful to see what is being developed and released, as well as getting ideas for further efficiencies and broadening our use cases.

Cons

The customer support is good, I would love to see the chat feature enabled for a more instant response. The documentation is good, however I'd love to see more updates with the new features and consistency in the support library, and perhaps some easier navigation.

Reason for choosing FormAssembly

I addressed this a bit in the first part of the feedback - but the pricing model (per user vs per form response) was key. Also e-Signatures being included with the Teams plan was important.

### "Overall great experience with FormAssembly!"

March 3, 2026

4.0

Overall have had a great experience with FormAssembly. It's helped streamline many forms that we ask our users to complete with the integration with Salesforce.

Pros

It connects easily with Salesforce, which makes it simple to send form data where it needs to go without a lot of extra steps. If your team relies on Salesforce, this is a big plus. The form builder is user-friendly and straightforward. It doesn’t take long to get the hang of it, and you don’t need to be super technical to build good, functional forms. Customer support has also been helpful. When issues come up, the team is responsive and does a good job walking you through solutions.

Cons

Customization can feel a bit limited unless you know HTML. If you want more advanced styling or specific design tweaks, you’ll likely need some coding knowledge. It also isn’t possible to automatically send a PDF copy of a completed form in the confirmation email to respondents, which can be a drawback depending on your needs.

### "Form Assembly review"

May 26, 2026

4.0

Very good. It serves our purpose. It is very easy to change text and add or edit helpful tips without tech support.

Pros

Great customer support and ease of creating forms, including lengthy ones with many add-on questions that display if the first question is "yes". Ability to hide questions if a previous response in "no". Easy integration with other products such as Salesforce, Box and iATS.

Cons

Save and Resume is unwieldy (confusing and complicated) without upgrading to Teams at greater expense. In our case we do not need the other upgrades in Teams.

### "Very Easy to Navigate with Helpful Drop-Down Menus"

May 26, 2026

4.0

FormAssembly is solving the challenge of collecting and managing student data from multiple sources. Before we had to gather information through emails or spreadsheets which was time-consuming and prone to errors. Now everything flows through organized online forms and creates a smoother experience for both clients and internal teams.

Pros

What I like best about FormAssembly is how easy it to navigate, the drop down menu is helpful and good customer support

Cons

It works great for our university but it would be helpful to use the "enter" key instead of clicking the button every time

### "FormAssembly Review"

May 27, 2026

5.0

I've used FormAssembly for 4 years now - 1 year with actually buidling forms. It's improved our processes and we can control what type of data that we want to collect.

Pros

Ease of use collecting data for our orginization and Customer support. Customizing forms and data collecting to meet our needs is pretty easy.

Cons

The only con I would include is that if the user is using Salesforce - there's a base layer of knowledge for SF to have before you can use FormAssembly affectively.

### "FormAssembly from an Admissions Perspective at an Education Nonprofit"

October 2, 2025

5.0

My overall experience is positive. I can't speak to the value for money, since I do not pay for it, but I think it is invaluable to admissions. We wouldn't really be able to do our work in a secure and cross-synchronized way with our other teams without it. I also can't speak to customer support. I have not interacted with FormAssembly's customer support. I appreciate this effort to collect information. If by "customer support" you are referring to how our users use FormAssembly, it is somewhat mixed. My honest answer with this is that some of our families are incredibly technologically challenged. I think FormAssembly is incredibly intuitive to navigate, and our forms could not be more clear. However, we have some families that only have mobile devices. Some rely heavily on the Google translate function that can be enabled on forms, and the results on that are mixed too.

Pros

I would give Form Assembly 4.5/5 stars. I like the most how it integrates with SF + the customization options + the intuitive UI. Even though we have a separate Salesforce team at our organization, our team is still able to use FormAssembly with ease. The UI is intuitive, and I use YouTube when looking how to do something. For example, I wanted to translate an admissions family information meeting sign-up sheet, and I watched a YouTube tutorial on how to do it. I also like how it allows us to see Forms in progress, when they were started and generate .csv forms to organize and show all of that information. For Admissions, this is incredibly valuable. We also collect sensitive medical information, admission related signatures, and a one-time $100 payment through FormAssembly. Having parents be able to sign documents through FormAssembly and not physical paper is convenient for us, and security is very important. To date, we have not had any security problems. I know everyone in our organization uses FormAssembly, especially since we are a SF org too. I wonder if it would be possible for FormAssembly to create their own series highlight potential tips and tricks -- or any free certifications available. If there are, please forward it to \[sensitive content hidden\]!

Cons

I think that the one UI thing I dislike is how clumped together the tool and menu bar on the left is when creating a form. There is a lot there, and sometimes FormAssembly can be slow. I am not sure if it is our internet or a specific action that prompts the slowness. The aspect I dislike the least in general about FormAssembly is that the Mobile UI is not good. The demographic we serve is mostly low-income, and some of our families do not actually have computers. Thus, completing FormAssembly is more difficult. From what I have gathered, it is a mix of items being too small on devices, links sometimes not working, and the form bouncing midway through a long form. For example, some of our enrollment paperwork had to be collected in paper because our families information would not save or the form would refresh on mobile devices. I do not know enough to say exactly why. I know the following are pie in the sky ideas, but I wonder if there could be AI integration with detecting duplicative entries automatically. I wonder if it would be possible to incorporate AI suggestions in form building.

### "Data Collection "

February 23, 2026

5.0

My overall experience with FormAssembly has been 5 starts. We have been using for about 3 years, and it works for all our forms. I like that is user friendly. It is not hard to navigate or create forms.

Pros

I like that it connects to Salesforce: MatchForce. It cuts down on the time that we have to do data entry.

Cons

The connectors can be difficult to figure out. If the connectors are wrong, it does mess up the form uploading correctly.

### "Form Assembly in a public sector/tourism context"

October 1, 2025

5.0

We were looking for a form building tool that would integrate with Salesforce in order to shorten the development time needed to create forms that intake data into Salesforce. FormAssembly was the perfect tool for this role in our tech stack. We've used it to build several forms including a funding application form, a model release form and a stakeholder application form.

Pros

Best part is the seemless integration with the Salesforce platform and the drag and drop interface when creating forms. The available styling options for the forms also works well with our branding requirements.

Cons

Nothing really to dislike about the platform, it works well for us and it performs as expected. We've never had any issues with the integration which is great.
