I can certainly recommend using the easypromos platform to anyone looking to run a video competition! Pros The easypromos platform was incredibly user friendly and easy to use. The set up of the competition was straight forward, and it was great that users had various options for directly uploading their videos. This wasn’t the case for other options we looked at, who only allowed uploading via a URL. I contacted Easypromos a couple of times with questions, and their responses were always quick, helpful and extremely friendly. Cons The only negative thing was that we had to allow users had to verify their vote either via Facebook or E-mail - it wasn't possible to have both as an option. We found their range of tutorial videos and articles immensely helpful in answering any questions or concerns that we ran into while building the promotion. One of our favorite features that Easypromos has available is a pop up window that appears after users enter our promotion that provides the opportunity for users to follow us on social media. This feature led to a substantial increase in our social media followers, which we love to see! Easy to learn, easy to use, and their support team responds quickly within their own time zone (about a day turn around if not timed nicely). Pros This software makes it really easy to customize and launch successful social media promotions. I love the premade templates and how easy it is to swap out images/logos. Cons The only thing that confuses me about this software is some parts of it are not translated. I believe the company is from Spain and some things are still in Spanish while others are in English. Cons Es muy caro, pagar 30€ al mes por hacer sorteos en solo unas aplicaciones, sin apenas opciones y demás... No merece la pena, hay alternativas mejores. Imagina que tienes una empresa y quieres hacer un sorteo, por lo que sea, escoges EasyPromos, y eres profesional por lo que no quieres que aparezca su logo, 3500€ si lo mantienes para hacer un sorteo al año. Te merece más la pena alquilar un servidor durante un año exclusivo para que un programador que contrates te cree un programa que seleccione todas las entradas de datos (likes, rts, comentarios, lo que sea) y hacerlo desde ahí. Pros Lo que más me gusta es que te dan el certificado del sorteo alojado en su web, lo cual hace que se pueda comprobar el ganador sin sospechas de ningún tipo. Cons El precio echa bastante atrás, hace poco tenía plan gratuito muy limitado, para un sorteo cada bastante tiempo merecía la pena, ellos recibían la publicidad de que se viese en el certificado y demás. Pros This software is easy to use and there is so much that you can customize in other languages using the dictionary feature in the utilities. Cons Sometimes it isn't obvious where to make updates, such as building dictionaries to help translate some of the buttons. Some buttons are customized in the editor and some in the dictionary. September 12, 2019 4.0 Overall, I like Easypromos for big business. However, I just can't recommend it for a small organization. It does have great insights and is fairly user friendly but I'm not a fan of the interface. It's fairly busy. Pros I like that this has several different options for applications. From Facebook giveaways to customer loyalty rewards, it's very easy to run a promotion and dig deep into the metrics of it. Cons I don't like that this software can't be scaled for small business. I do need software such as this but it's quite expensive for my needs and doesn't scale very well. I also like the fact you could send emails to remind participants to vote and share their stories. Cons The difficulty I had with linking it to Facebook. I also would have like to see the winner be able to like to the photo contest page on our Facebook page, but was unable to accomplish that.
