Integration of onboarding, timesheets, calendar management, performance reviews, internal job applications and goals all in one place

Cons

Bugs in the calendar function where an employee submitting a flex dey request for a future quarter causes the employee to be unable to submit a flex day request in the current quarter.

### "All you need as manager"

Overall the experience is good and the program does what is suppose to do. Can no comment regarding the value for the money, but for a manager this is all she/he needs for managing from HR perspective his/her team.

Pros

It is ensuring a proper management of your team and is reliable. It is quite easy to use, you do not need a full training.

Cons

Days off management could be improved. I found it difficult all the time to find how many days off I still have. The learning tool is also sometimes annoying with many automatic emails sent when the timelines are not achieved.

SAP is an amazing product and I love using it and will not trade it for the world. the customer service is amazing and I am able to mange my operation

Pros

I like that it is great value for money, I can manage employee performance and and it is easy to use the admin management

Cons

there is nothing that I did not like about SAP, I have been using it for years when I worked for other companies, hence the reason I invested in it

My overall experience with SAP SuccessFactors has primarily been from the Learning Management Systems administration perspective. It can be straightforward, but it is nothing fancy.

Pros

SAP SuccessFactors is very structured and organized. Once you understand the basics of the platform, UX for users/learners is pretty straightforward.

Cons

It is a little bit clunky on the administrative end. There are a lot of possibilities, but it does take a lot lof learning and research to be able to administer in a clean way.

Worked efficiently for time tracking, project management updates, logistics chain management, submitting time off requests and time card. Was not optimally designed to track progress or accuracy of takt times on manufacturing projects.

Pros

Easy to navigate, a lot of control for the user which made taking care of important time tracking and updates to your profile fast and efficient. Great for project management and communicating between departments.

Cons

There are certain complexities to the program that aren't easy for the newest person or even a more experienced person to navigate. Albeit is comprehensive, the format is a bit archaic, as it is a lot like MsDOS in functionality. I personally didnt enjoy using this software for manufacturing projects.

Good for existing SAP customers. Easy to migrate from on premise SAP HCM to SuccessFactors. Also integrates well with other hcm products. The user experience can feel inconsistent as you move between different modules (like Learning vs. Performance).

Pros

SuccessFactors supports large, complex, multinational organizations. It includes built-in localization for many countries. Good for large enterprises that need a system to manage a complex workforce. it is highly secure and configurable and can be adapted to fit unique and specific business processes.

Cons

Poor UI. Not user-friendly" and difficult to navigate. The interface is outdated or fragmented, especially when compared to more modern competitors.

Very good. Setting and tracking goals worked very well. The review process was easily integrated into the overall plan.

Pros

SuccesFactors worked very well for setting and tracking goals. Whether it be quarterly or annually, the platform was great for keeping priorities in order and goals on track.

Cons

The ability to do a year over year comparison was not available. This function would help associates streamline goals and see progress beyond the current period.

I would use it mostly during performance review time. I liked how it stepped me through each of the requirements before I could advance.

Pros

My experience was very linear, as it should be. SuccessFactors is not something that I interact with often. So when I don't use it often, or even more importantly, for new people that are being onboarded, a clearly marked path in SuccessFactors helps to facilitate smooth onboarding. And for veterans, the clearly marked paths is helpful for review time.

Cons

SuccessFactors is not visited often I my day to day, not do we have much incentive to. It's hard to get people to go out of their way when we're so busy throughout the day.

Design of the app does not allow idiot proof usage. When I change my claim approver, it is difficult to navigate how to change. There are pages with a single word at the top that you wouldnt think is a link, but it is a link for you to click. navigating around is not obvious for first time users

allow me to submit claims. otherwise nothing much. previously MOHH had easier claim system before adopting SF

Cons

Difficult to set up. According to my workplace guide, I need to open a Qr code on people connexion and then use Success factors to scan the QR code to link. But peopleconnexion is unable to open the QR code.

Love that everything is in one space and it is easy to navigate not only my team, but the entire organizational structure. I also like that it is integrated with Percipio, which we use for online learning.

Pros

As a Leader, it is very intuitive and easy to use. Everything is in one spot.

Cons

There are a few processes, such as payroll planning that take a bit of getting used to. This might be more about my company's processes than SAP

SAP SuccessFactors is helpful for viewing all the details regarding salary compensation and to view and complete all the merit increase processes and statement's. All the documents related to salary can b easily downloaded, SuccessFactors sis also used for completing all e-Learning modules assigned by the manager

Cons

The overall responsiveness of the UI is a bit slow

### "Not Intuitive and Complicated for no reason"

would not recommend to any person or business. not user friendly, not intuitive, and as previously mentioned I am constantly troubleshooting this software with my team and our administrator. on more than one occasion, people's time off has not accrued properly resulting in them either having a surplus or less vacation days than they're supposed to. any time i need to do anything in this software it is overly complicated. i miss our old vacation time software, and so does our team.

Pros

I like that there is an app, however i've never used it and i'm not sure how many of our staff use it either.

Cons

The main reason we use SF is time off requests/vacation management. After almost 2yrs of use, I still get emails from multiple team members that are struggling to: - see their total accrued vacation time - enter in their own vacation time (Aka they email asking me to do it for them) - cancel their own days off (they email me asking me to do it for them) - edit requests on their own (ex: changing from 3 days of vacation to 2 etc) without cancelling and re-entering the whole thing My biggest frustration with SF is that it doesn't show team members their total time off, it only shows what they've accrued as of the day they are looking at their profile. in order to see how many days they have left to book they have to adjust the calendar. I get the most emails about this issue, and my team struggles with this the most. You can't tell if a person has requested a 1/2 or full day w/o going "all the way" into the request - i should be able to look at either the homepage or Workflow Requests and tell if the person needs one day or just a 1/2. Instead you have to go into their profile, look at the request and THEN you can find out how much time they're requesting. I also get email notifs every time i cancel someone else's vacation time and yet they won't get an email. i've reached out to our system admin about this more than once and they can't seem to come up with a resolution. This software looks and feels old school - very windows 95.

If you think you need a single HRIS and Talent Management System, there aren't that many options, so SuccessFactors will likely be on your shortlist. My recommendation would be to really consider whether you "need" that, or whether you would be better off with SuccessFactors as your HRIS and opt instead for niche applications for your various talent management needs that can integrate with each other and SuccessFactors.

Pros

SuccessFactors offers an HRIS with modules to cover many aspects of Talent Management, including Recruiting, Onboarding, LMS, Goals, Performance, Succession Planning, Compensation, and Workforce Analytics.

Cons

Several of the modules have been bolted on over the years and are still not fully integrated like you might expect them to be. The look and feel of the modules are dated and there has been very little in the way of enhancements to the talent modules in the 6 years I have been using it. Built-in reports are limited. SAP Support has been poor. There are still many aspects of the configuration that can only be done in the back-end provisioning client by a configuration partner (not by the client), so the client can never truly be self-sufficient.

It´s great for perfomance review, allows to track objectives and the progress of each of them, at the end of the year your team members reviews themselves and you review them too, so you can easily and objectively have a full year review to share with them

Cons

The look and feel is kind of old and you have a lot of full page loads when modern software can update part of the content you´re looking

Every week I issue notes with a repair nature and it is a very easy task to be performed by SAP. For 2 days a week I need to make inquiries of bank details from suppliers and change addresses and emails and it is also an easy activity whose platform facilitates reading and changing data.

Pros

What I like most about this site is the speed of loading each function and page opened, in addition to supporting several open at the same time. But more important is the amount of functions available for use, such as inventory control, supplier search, payment collection, among others.

Cons

Sometimes it's kind of hard to find a search function I need and I end up having to question my colleagues even though I've had access to the site for years.
