### "A true legacy system - difficult to use and navigate"

Gave me experience using a large, bulky legacy ATS.

Pros

Enterprise-level; worked well for ~100 Recruiters + ~100 HR representatives to use together. Was stable and consistent.

Cons

Poor UI/UX, difficult to use and to navigate. Features and flow doesn't make logical sense in many cases, and slow/difficult to use quickly. Very poor functionality to enable collaboration across roles/teams.

Features seem very limited/overly complex in comparison with other platforms such as elogic and cornerstone.

Pros

Great for large companies with set curricula in place. Custom Reporting, Multiple Learning Types Supported. Ability to add references/global resources. Integrated with SAP GlobalScape (previously iContent).

Cons

Lack of forward facing custom reporting (SQL Knowledge required). Customer support is not included with licensing; third party support is sub par.

Pros

I like that this software can be integrated between modules and is extremely customizable with the support of system adminstrators and analysts. There are lots of options for building an Applicant Tracking System, Onboarding platform and Performance system.

Cons

Costly to work with SAP and get the best support - if paid for, there is a lot of great support resources! Integrations are not fully developed for being such a large firm. Modules have been created by different companies and acquired over time. Some functionality is not fully developed and sometimes the vendor loses focus.

Overall it is a useful tool that has helped us accomplish learning and development initiatives, performance-driven development, and much more.

Pros

It's nice to have not only your learning management system (LMS), but also your performance review and feedback system in one. We do not utilize all of it's features, but those we do are effective and is fairly easy to catch on to.

Cons

Some action items are harder to find than others and you have to search for them among the different tabs and functions under each. Some rating limitations within the system for performance if you want to customize your own rating system.

Pros

I like how easy it is to use this software for recruiting and onboarding purposes. I also like how easy it is to do job posting whether it is for external candidates or internal candidates. I could also choose to keep the posting private or open to all applicants which is really great! It is also very convenient to track the employee movements using this software.

Cons

There is nothing that I dislike about this software.

Pros

SuccessFactors provides a very robust platform to coordinate and collect employee reviews. Easy to compare performance year over year and quarter over quarter. Provides ample room for both personal and manager feedback.

Cons

This is a robust platform and not suited for every organization. We only use maybe 15% of the entire platform and it can be very overwhelming for employees. Currently looking at other options.

I used it for online trainings. Nice idea, not a nice way to do it.

Pros

Nice way for employees to get online trainings. But, that might be better. I like the idea, not fond of the way they build the software.

Cons

Too slow, not user friendly. As I stated, I like the idea but I hate the GUI, funcitons etc. I don't know if there are other tools like it, I recommend you to look for other tools too.

What I like the most is thay The software unites hr process like education and training and performance evaluation under one platform. You don't need to go and search from different web sites having different user interfaces.

Cons

The user interface of the software is very complicated. It is very difficult to find and to get registered to the relevant trainings and also to add defined perfomance targets

Overall, Successfactors is adequate for its intended use. Aside from the user interface which needs improving I have no issues with it.

Pros

It seems like it has a lot of additional features. At my company we use it mainly for performance evaluations but we're beginning to add other features including the ability to request mentoring and coaching so it has the potential to be a really impactful piece of software.

Cons

I find the user interface of SuccessFactors quite confusing. The menus aren't always that easy to navigate.

Overall, I find successfactors satisfactory for its intended function however a more intuitive user interface would make the experience of using the software much better.

Pros

I like how successfactors has the ability to integrate multiple HR functions. I can update my personal details, access performance evaluation data and also request feedback and coaching all on the same application.

Cons

My only gripe is that the user interface is clunky with multiple menus that can be hard to navigate to get to the right screen.

Cloud based product with quarterly releases for improvement. Easy backend configuration setup for admin users.

Cons

Unstable at times and based on how much data is configured, it can run very slow. Also the reporting and analytics tool is not as intuitive yo use.

It is a software that allows modular growth, adjusts and parameterizes the needs of each country, has absolute control of information security, integrates different areas of the company, and has in detail all operations

Cons

It is very expensive, the implementation takes a long time, it requires the change of many processes to adapt to the best practices, the front end is not so friendly when using it. it requires very robust equipment for its implementation.

After working with ADP and SAP I find that SAP allows better organizational structure support and believe the system as a whole can be more valuable than ADP but operating with just the Employee Information portion of the system is not worth it. I recommend going all or nothing with this HRIS.

Pros

I appreciate the idea of a database for positions and a database for people. It is a great idea and I think they have a good design to build on.

Cons

The positions don't change when a person changes. This was a challenge. You can automatically transfer employees to new supervisors when you terminate a supervisor, but the positions for all those employees will still show the higher level position to be the terminated one rather than the new one causing double the work. It is a challenge, and I think their reporting and importing processes could be more efficient.

When you work in SAP you have many transaction which can satisfied your quorious for information. You can open several windows and do several thing simulatly in the sim time.

Cons

Maybe some jobs have to many steps and that is not user frendly for some on who do not use frequently this software.

No benefits that I've realized. It may be easier for a supervisor to read through, but I'm not sure.

Pros

I can record both goals and growth areas and have them be separate entities. Supervisor can comment on progress

Cons

Does not integrate with anything. It is just a standalone form that is basically like an excel sheet.

Pros

What I liked was how everything flowed from my work’s desktop version into the app. What else I liked was being able to access without needing VPN or excessive background security. This is a good software for being able to complete training or general hr activities/requirements

Cons

What I didn’t like was it is clunky. It doesn’t always allow activities and trainings to happen on the app and requires the desktop login For smaller companies it can be a pricy way to get your hr done. It is also time consuming to get training and tasks done What I would suggest is a more simple layout.

Good user interface.easy and simple to administer.very easy to upload and switch from other products.perfect for hr service.

Cons

Some modules like learning mgmt etc are not that mature also the recruiting module has a lot of issues.
