The tool has been responsive and I have seen it grow and expand.

Pros

I like the ability to not only load annual goals but to provide updates monthly as I meet with my manager to keep track of any and all activities associated to my targeted goals.

Cons

Historically I have run into timing out issues and only recently have they implemented an auto-save functionality. additionally, sometimes i experience formatting issues when I draft in Notepad and then copy over to SuccessFactors

It seems like it would have a large scale functionality. It has many options and thing available to select from.

Cons

It is not intuitive and it is very cumbersome. It is not user friendly in that it requires a lot of additional navigating that may not be necessary.

I find this Software to be easy to use after you've become familiar with it. I like the workflow aspect of it so that you can easily see progress during the different stages of the performance reviews.

Cons

I think that the software looks old and would benefit from a refreshed look/new skin. I think a re-design would make it more intuitive.

The user interface and reporting are very easy to use, and the manager view is great!

Cons

The build-out is complicated, and can be costly. Really think about what your HR Business needs will be. I imagine that doing a buildout with several modules would be faster than doing them one by one. I am sure you can negotiate on the price as well.

Pros

This product is easy to use. I particularly like the interface over HRM for example. It does all we need it to do.

Cons

The program can be sometimes extrenely slow, and we have to wait several minutes to process. Also, it would be nice to have a quick access.

It is a good system but very expensive for what you get.

Pros

It is able to hand many required functions, it has the potential to be a full recruitment cycle software. Perhaps the company I work for did not purchase all of the required features.

Cons

It is not very forgiving, can be slow and freeze at times. It is not the most logical system to use, many training points to overcome some of the illogical work flows and use.

Great way to agree on and work toward KPIs with your team/group

Pros

Our HR department created an 20-step onboarding plan for me in SuccessFactors. Now that I've gone through all of the steps, I feel like I know the basics that I need to know for working here. Not the role-specific experience, but the sometimes hard to obtain, internal experience that makes getting work done easier.

Cons

There really aren't too many "cons" from my point-of-view. I also like the "KPI" section. If there is another "con" I guess it's that I don't understand how SuccessFactors and "Jam" are different and what should be done in each.

Pros

The vendor hired an implementation company that worked with us, side-by-side, to make sure that we understood our work processess and were able to transition smoothly from the old to the new system. They brought a lot of issues to the forefront that we were able to circumvent due to their experience doing this over, and over with multiple clients.

Cons

Once the third-party support was over per our implementation contract, SuccessFactors offered very little customer support.

Pros

I really enjoyed seeing where I was at in terms of meeting my quarterly and annual goals, and how I could measure against them.

Cons

While the concept is good, there is still a LOT of work that needs to be done outside of the system. So many people think that this system is going to make goal tracking easier, and while it is easier, it is not "automated", which is why it falls to the wayside, and does not get thoroughly integrated into the company.

Cons

Customer Support levels should be improved and the global payroll needs to come forward. Core HR product is coming along

Application is easy to use and navigate online. Used it to perform annual performance review. Anyone can get use to the application quickly.

Cons

There really weren't any flaws that I noticed on the application. Sometimes you had to save your progress twice or else it wouldn't save.

SAP SuccessFactors is used companywide in our company. It is a one-in-all suite of applications for HR process management and all applications are integrated within themselves, which is quite useful. I would say that overall it is an effective tool to manage the HR functions in a company.

I have used this product for over a year as the HR system administrator. The customer support is awful. To put in a ticket, you have to research the topic on their site before it lets you submit a ticket. It also takes them forever to get back to you. I submitted a "high" priority ticket this year and it took them one week to get back to me.

Core functions and features are on par with most other companies.

Pros

I love the succession planning tool, how you can get feedback through performance management, as well as the ease of reporting.

Cons

The only cons are it can me more complex then it needs to be. Training non technical leaders on the system is a challenge.

We are in the implementation process and it's not the smoothest. We are learning the functionalities we thought we would have we aren't getting.

Pros

The reporting and getting away from everything that is a paper in our world of HR. It's all going through SuccessFactors.

Cons

The things that still cannot be done i.e. having our employees change their direct deposit and W-4 online via SuccessFactors. How manual the implementation process is. You have to build it from ground up. There is not magic when it comes to SuccessFactors.

I love how easy it is to do recruiting the way that our company wants to using successfactors. we got it last year and it has been great! it talks well with indeed and other places where it posts your job. it let us set up a simple and easy recruiting page for our jobs

Cons

sometimes the admin side can be a little confusing and hard to find what you need to find because we have so much access and there is the classic and new version of it
