It reminds me of performance management of mine as well as my team. In addition to these, it allows you to request for any HR related letters and it reaches you on time without wasting your time physically. Pros I. Easy to use and very user-friendly for the HR guys as well as for the employees. II. Specific role creation as of the role profile ( ensuring proper delegation of authority). III. Real time update of the HR data. IV. Performance management system. V. Hiring or contracting and leaver management. VI. Compensation and benefit management. VII. Identifying the development needs of the employees and prioritizing the training program for the top loss. Cons I am extremely happy with this software and didn't find anything that I would not like. It has potential but is frustrating. The formatting of objectives look v different on screen as you enter them to what they look like once entered. Needs more structure. Plus output reports dont exist so we (as a dept) copy each individuals details or the year into a ppt slide for each individual at the end of the year. An excel or sharepoint workflow is cheaper and more effective from a users pov. Pros Its a positive move to have a system for performance management and objective setting available on yoir computer and mobile Cons Its complicated. Its not focused on users. Its not intuitive. The ways to access different elements of the system to change employee flags, see updates in the workflow and use the system are scattered around the page. Some on the top, some on the left, one half way down the page. I waste a lot of time trying to find what im needing to do. Really does need taking apart and reengingeering with easy or use for the user. The application itself could do anything/everything we needed it to, but most configuration changes had to be worked through a third party (SAP partner), which was always frustrating. Pros SuccessFactors is extremely customizable, and it also has a ton of features (LMS, Employee management, Performance Reviews, Reporting/Analytics, etc. Cons Enabling new modules/features or customizing anything that requires provisioning access will require you to work through a third party. The platform is fast and stable. Pros An end to end system to handle recruitment, onboarding through to employee management, absence, performance and succession planning and offboarding is not easy to find at this price point. The Integration Centre which can export data for use in other systems is feature rich and very fast for extracting data. Cons Reporting, and not unlike any cloud systems, isnt as strong as it could be. It is somewhat clunky and cumbersome to create reports. SAP Support, so far, is extremely poor. Cons The system’s implementation, cost, and overall ease of use leave much to be desired, not to mention the customer service. The cost is particularly exorbitant, making it a poor choice unless you intend to use it as a comprehensive ERP system to connect subsidiaries. Its design is somewhat outdated, functioning more like a relationship database. Upgrades are a slow process, taking years to complete, while other HCM products are rapidly introducing new features to keep pace with technological advancements. Building out this system is a time-consuming process, and by the time it’s ready, newer options have already hit the market. It then takes additional years to integrate these new features. Considering the high implementation and ongoing costs, it would be more prudent to opt for other HCM systems. Cons It's cumbersome to customize and deploy- many smaller organizations may need to hire an implementation partner as a result. Additionally, it's mobile version leaves a lot to be desired. While adding more data points to our database, the tools crash instantly. Integrating with 3rd party tools especially handling time off from Kronos had issues. Importing of data while migrating is not flexible, manipulation of source data was mandated to accommodate SF. To undo a change we need to roll back to the entire fields and as a result, it takes too much time to complete an activity. Pros Easily customizable. Visibility on Updation of Employee data compared to other WFM tools. UI for time off management is pretty neat compared to other tools available in the market. Performance and goal Management and LKM modules are the most likable feature. We purchased the tool for ADP integration for roll-out, and the product eased the integration of Employee data along with SAP CPI. Cons System crashes while importing bulk user information. Integrating with 3rd party tools especially handling time off from Kronos had some issues. June 13, 2019 3.0 When you use it for application to one position in a company, you can easily upload your resume, organize it quickly and apply. However some of the modules are not successful enough. i.e. scorecard definition and review screens don't provide a summary that you can see all items together and manage all of them with a check box. In that screen you should click item by item and update all of them manually. Only user interface needs to be updated to increase customer satisfaction. Pros All career items (learning / carrier / scorecard etc.) can be connected to each other. Cons User interface should be developed. It doesn't allow to user to check everything quickly. Pros SAP is amazing in one thing, they have an incredible amount of software, I mean they build their entire enterprise on that! Success Factors is one of them, it is a HR management/training software. Many companies use it. Cons However they are not very good at maintaining it. Success factors is prone to missing information, subpar support, and just straight up madness. I've had to handle tickets consecutively of missing information and just over all. It looks like a software out of 2003. It is simply garbage. It will not sync well with systems. My god its horrible.
