Pros Ease of use and deployment. Another software that we were using was very complicated and while it had many features it was difficult for our staff to make changes without having to call into the company or pay them to make the changes. Spinetix allows us to make all the changes we want ourselves. Cons It doesn't have all the features that would allow us to completely get rid of the other software. For example, connecting to our EMS through SQL to pull events directly out and show them on our displays. We are working on a work around for this, but so far we are only using spinetix for advertising, which it does well. No monthly/annual subscription, just up-front installation costs. The software is limited in features, but it gets the job done. We use it primarily to display rotating static images with a news ticker. It can also be used with videos. Pros Low cost. Effective. Cons Limited database of templates and graphics, nothing compared to InLighten. Not as intuitive as other products.
