Rentman

## What is Rentman?

Rentman is the operations management platform built to support event & media production teams. With Rentman, teams can create quotes, plan crew and equipment, centralize communication, track equipment and control costs, all in one place. Rentman offers two products to manage different parts of a business: Equipment and Crew.   Use the Equipment product, to save important information about your equipment, schedule equipment lists to projects, manage repairs and inspections, and track items dispatching from your warehouse or returning from productions with serial numbers, QR codes, and RFID tags. With the Crew product, you can manage all crew-related processes in one place. Save important information (like contracts, skills, qualifications, holidays, etc.), schedule and communicate with crew, send invites and track worked hours. Each product comes in different tiers with more features as you go up, and can be customized with different add-ons.

Great product, easy to use and teach. Any issues I've had have been taken care of immediately. The customer service team is very responsive.

Pros

Ease of use. It's not difficult to setup it just takes time and patience. One setup it really is easy to use.

Cons

The time and patience needed to setup. Not great on the reporting detail. I'd like the ability to create my own custom reports. Or at least have the ability to see more detail.

Pros

This was great for planning events as well as scheduling for any crew needed, managing the inventory and planning my projects

Cons

There was a bit of a learning curve while trying to figure out this cloud based app so it could be a bit more user-friendly.

real-time availability, conflict warnings, and serial-number tracking reduced mistakes quotes, packing lists, contracts, and invoices could be generated quickly

Cons

was efficiency and visibility—it reduced back-and-forth, errors, and manual tracking, which is huge in fast-moving event and rental environments.

Übersichtlich / Einfach / Schnell / Zuversichtilich Rentman hilft uns im Alltag vieles zu automatisieren und Informationen für unsere Mitarbeiter, auch extern, bereitzustellen.

Cons

Beim Erstellen eines Ternis im Kalender, werden immer die letzten Personen mit aufgenommen, welche beim Speichern schon drin waren.. Und Rechnungen können nicht Versioniert werden. - Sprich, bei einer Änderung nach dem Senden, wird automatisch die neue Version in der bereits gesendeten Nachricht abgelegt/aktualisiert. Wäre für die Verfolgbarkeit super, wenn die alte Rechnung stehen bleiben würde! Ebenso funktioniert bei den Rechnungen die QRR-Nummer nicht!

Ich bin seit über 30 Jahren im Vermietgeschäft und habe auch solide IT Kenntnisse und bin immer wieder von Rentman begeistert. Nicht nur weil es sich tatsächlich OHNE MEHRKOSTEN an den Bedürfnissen der Kunden orientiert, sondern weil es auch immer wieder weiter entwicklet wird.

Pros

Die hohe Flexibilität! Sprich, dass ich mir Rentman an meine unternehmerischen Bedürfnisse anpassen kann, ohne immense Programmierer-Kosten. Der Support ist ebenfalls erstklassig und hilft bei allen Belangen.

Cons

Die Dinge die mir nicht gefallen, lösen sich meist mit einem Anruf beim Support :-). Daher kann ich wirklich nicht motzen!

Rentman has streamlined our workflow significantly. It moved us away from spreadsheets to a professional, centralized system. It reduces errors, improves team communication, and is totally worth the investment for event production.

Pros

I love how it unifies inventory, crew planning, and quoting into one system. The real-time equipment tracking prevents double bookings, and the QR code scanning feature saves us hours in the warehouse.

Cons

The mobile app is a bit limited for administrative tasks compared to the desktop version. Also, the initial setup and learning curve can be steep for new users due to the many features available.

Pros

It's a very complete software, with lots of monthly usefull upgrades and a great support team to help with bugs and issues. The ease of manage all the crew, projects and equipment is gamechanger beacuse there is all in one place. The fact that you can costumize what you need is very good for company with low budget and so on...

Cons

The software is very complex, although you can basically use 65% of the software int the first week, you need basically a few months to custumize it at you own way

Is een programma wat alles kan en alles doet en niet moeilijk werkt. van magazijn tot personeel planning alles zit er in

het is een compleet programma en je krijgt ook echt wat voor je betaald. van magazijn tot aan de personeels planning

Cons

dat je maar 1 power user krijgt en een 2e nogal duur is. waardoor je er om en om in kan met 1 code een normaal bedrijf zou gewoon 2 power users moet krijgen voor de standaard versie

Je travail avec Rentman depuis 3 ans. Je l'utilise tout les jours depuis et je n'ai pas rencontré de problème autant pour créer un devis que pour préparer ou remettre en entrepôt les équipements.

Pros

Module entrepôt simple d'utilisation et n'importe qui peut faire les retour avec Numérisation de retour.

Cons

Version web uniquement! Il y a eu une panne électrique durant la préparation d'équipments donc je n'avais plus d'internet... J'ai pu compléter avec l'application IOS en LTE.

Depuis que nous sommes passés à Rentman, nous n'avons reçu que des commentaires positifs de la part de nos clients et même de notre personnel.

Pros

Rentman simplifie considérablement les tâches quotidiennes, tant en termes de livrables aux clients que de gestion interne.

Cons

Le seul point légèrement négatif est le fait qu'il est nécessaire de payer pour un système externe à Rentman afin de créer une boutique en ligne.
