Keeps everything so organized and easy to work with. I like that I can keep track of inventory and my sales margin.

Some updates are not needed and cause delays down the line, would have preferred the old version we had

its been great, support team if prompt with response and everything is easy to navigate its made a real improvement to our business

Pros

the simplicity of the software and ability for people of all IT skill levels to use the product efficiently. crew planner by far is the best i have seen.

Cons

equipment module is good but not having the ability to receive new stock or generate PO for new equipment purchases means using another system for assets tracking. also the equipment image field needs to be present on the app and picking of projects. kind of pointless with out this i think. need a second app or new function with in the app for crew planner on the go.

This was used primarily for a few events for a small business, and it was a great tool that I would recommend.

Pros

This was great for planning events as well as scheduling for any crew needed, managing the inventory and planning my projects

Cons

There was a bit of a learning curve while trying to figure out this cloud based app so it could be a bit more user-friendly.

real-time availability, conflict warnings, and serial-number tracking reduced mistakes quotes, packing lists, contracts, and invoices could be generated quickly

Cons

was efficiency and visibility—it reduced back-and-forth, errors, and manual tracking, which is huge in fast-moving event and rental environments.

Pros

Well thought out, clean interface and good integration with 3rd-party tools.

Cons

Combination management is a mess. The general idea works, but the UX needs a complete overhaul.

### "A fantastic Rental and Inventory software"

Rentman has made a massive improvement to the way that we do our stock management and quoting our clients. We have had a massive increase in productivity and resource allocation within our systems, that includes our crew allocations as well.

Pros

The ease of using the software package, and the support from the team is next to none! The team is willing to listen to the client feedback, and will implement new features accordingly, could take a while, but they do eventually get to it

Cons

There are some bugs that take a while to get fixed, however, a message off to the support team will get these resolved normally in a short time.

The system was not scalable, and we required having our own in-house terminal server so that each user could log in and work on the software. Rentman makes this easier by being a cloud interface that allows our remote staff to login and view the upcoming jobs, and even have our freelance staff login to view jobs they have been hired for.

### "Rentman - One Stop Shop Rental Platform that works!!"

Its been great, there was a time when they prioritized changing the user interface over updating some critical needs on functionality. But that was years ago and now they have a really solid platform that seems to have all the features we need and the user interface is super solid!

Pros

Web Based, Fast, Remembers your personal customizations, searchable, modern user interface. Regular meaningful updates, great support. All features needed to run the business in one platform. Staff don't have to learn multiple programs.

Cons

I really like Rentman, I don't really have any cons at the moment.

I love RentMan. It makes my days planning projects and doing warehouse jobs so much easier. Over all it's a super good product, it just missed a few things to be the perfect software. I would still recommend it, it's probably the best rental software in the business if you rent out equipment.

Pros

Modern browser based app A lot of useful functions

Cons

The mobile app is a bit behind the desktop app in features with no ability to change items in planned projects on the run. It's time consuming to see what projects has booked as you need to open every project to see equipment. No function to quick view content of a project.

great still learning the nitty gritty of it all

the crew scheduling and the wat its laid out and the customer service teem has been great and really responsive to my questions

Cons

that a contact cant be a venue and a venue can have multipool room in the one venue they are separate enter with double ups of contact ie an Arts centre has a couple of production coordinator and 5 different space (theatres) and they all have to be separate enterys

Easy to use and great access through the web.

Cons

Maybe that they are still a young and small company and don't have everything the bigger companies offer in their softwares.

Overall, it has been great. The scheduling has been great for student employee who are not familiar with the system.

Pros

I like the inventory management feature as it provides ease when planning and prepping for scheduled events.

Cons

the equipment list is not accessible via the app, only on the computer browser. I updated the app to double check, but it made things inconvenient when i needed to review the equipment that was at my event.

Pros

I love the customer service. They get back to you as soon as they can. They have plenty of warning if their team is not available. They act fast in emergencies. most importantly, they listen. We have come to them with ideas of features that should be added only to see an update the next month with our recommendations/implementations.

Cons

The learning curve and functionality. The learning curve was difficult although \[sensitive content hidden\] and the plenty of resources they had made it go by fast. You really just need to learn the terminology and then you can almost use it however you please. It is very customizable in the sense that there are multiple ways to complete a task. IE schedule, book equipment, take inventory, check gear in and out, truck pack weight/power requirements. Just once you get 3-4 layers deep like editing a document template, or creating your own QR tags. It gets a little buggy, without hesitation you use it because you know the Rentman team is there to help once a problem arises.

Pros

The scheduling side of Rentman is very important in my role and the how easy it is for me to overview the movements and availability of all my staff. It is very easy to edit times and leave specific notes for specific crew.

Cons

It would be nice if Public Holidays/Weekends would show as a colour on the calendar as a warning for my account managers so as they are more aware when entering jobs.

Especially the online availability is extremely attractive. This facilitates much. It is always up-to-date and can be viewed from anywhere and possibly changed. The staff are always well informed about material and personnel. The program does what it is supposed to do well, quickly and clearly. There are hardly any wishes about it without which it is too crowded. Around a successful software which is always developing.

Pros

The clarity and clear procedures. Also the quick overview and online availability. The planning of material personnel and vehicle fleet becomes child's play. The organization of the material is simple and clear, as is the overall appearance of the software. Everything runs very reliably. Also the hiring of material is easy to do. The workshop module is clear and practical. This program is packed with knowledge and passion. The support is very fast and effective.

Cons

Little things in the mobile app. For example, you can not simply create a project quickly, with name and date and info. You can work out later in the office. That would be very helpful if you get orders on the way. Otherwise completely satisfied.
