Any issues I've had have been taken care of immediately. The customer service team is very responsive. Pros Ease of use. It's not difficult to setup it just takes time and patience. One setup it really is easy to use. Cons The time and patience needed to setup. Not great on the reporting detail. I'd like the ability to create my own custom reports. Und Rechnungen können nicht Versioniert werden. - Sprich, bei einer Änderung nach dem Senden, wird automatisch die neue Version in der bereits gesendeten Nachricht abgelegt/aktualisiert. July 24, 2025 5.0 Very positiv experience so far, now 4 years as a user and having our company rely on Rentman every day. We do not use all the functionalities in the system, mostly because we use it in a slightly different industry than what Rentmans most users are workring in. But also since our economy system in separate form Rentman with manual transfer between the system, and since we have had to do some workaround in order to adapt the system to the way our industry works locally in our country. Rentmans support team is outstanding. Always there to help with a very humble approach and always with very detailed descriptions of functions or features. Rentman has proven to be open to get feedback even from smaller businesses like myself, and to be wiling to add or develop features that would make our workdays easier. Pros The workflow. How it streamlines the way through a project covering everything from equipment, crew and transport scheduling and quoting, all the way to final invoicing for a project. Cons Integration possibilities with separate accounting systems are limited. The product sales feature is a bit limited. Would like more flexibility in stock handling and having a better workflow for project types that are only for product sales. Integration with transport/courier services would mak things easier too. We are small production company. Often 4 events at different venues. Previously used spread sheet for crewing. Pros I use the Rentman product for listing of projects and for crewing those projects. Rentman has streamlined our crewing process and allowed me to successfully meet our crew members needs Cons lack of flexibility regarding changes in projects as well as changes in crew member availability. For instance if crew member accepts an assignment but later needs to drop the assignment. Rentman still shows the person as accepted the assignment. It's been great! Pros I like that the day to day running of the company can be completed solely through Rentman. I don't need added Calanders or planners to manage the equipment, crew and vehicles Cons The app can be quite limiting when on the road. I would like to be able to book a simple reminder or enter a basic job so when on the road I don't forget when returning to work to complete a full job entry. Probably a me issue but could be useful. Hiretrack was a server-based product. they also didn't have any phone app that can be used for staff and to log gear in and out. August 26, 2025 5.0 Ik zou niet meer zonder Rentman kunnen, Rentman is de software waar echt alles in zit dat je nodig hebt als verhuurbedrijf. Pros één platform waar alles in zit! Offertes, facturatie, materiaalbeheer, stock, en vooral de planning voor medewerkers! Cons soms vrij complex, omdat alles met mekaar verbonden is, maar dit heeft ook zijn voordelen. Pros Lots of intuitive features and services, great interconnection between desktop/browser and the smartphone app! Wide range of data input for equipment - makes analysis and data export a breeze Cons There are some weird issues with how the window is behaving on different screen sizes with, in my opinion, not quite enough possibilites to adjust the workspace to ones liking.
