### "Keeper - the journey"

January 2, 2026

4.0

Very positive. A helpful tool to get teams to comply with advanced security features that are necessary in today's World.

Pros

The integration into all aspects of my daily functions. I can maintain extremely strong passwords, simply

Cons

The integration with some apps forces a 2FA code, but going to retrieve the code closes integration.

### "You will not regret this software!"

September 16, 2025

5.0

10/10, 5 stars, all the ratings - the best product on the market by a long shot - plus they sponsor \[sensitive content hidden\] F1 so that is pleasing also.

Pros

It is easy to install, easy to learn to use, the browser extensions are awesome, the ability to securely share passwords with users is unbelievably helpful in team environments and the search functions work super well. The sales team are really lovely and not pushy and happy to make sure you have the right product for you, not constantly trying to upsell.

Cons

While I appreciate the added security of not being able to do a forgot password on a master password, it would be helpful to have some sort of opt-in feature for business based accounts for admins to force that for the inevitable person who will forget the password and learn the hard way that they need to start from scratch, as that can be a time drain. They always only need to learn once, but its a time consuming lesson!

### "Good software, horrible price hikes. "

December 18, 2025

3.0

It was good, until they price hiked nearly 50%. We used to have what felt like a great discount, but after getting us on the hook, and a few rep changes, they no longer negotiate prices. We have had 4 reps, in almost 3 years.

Pros

It's a good software, works as intended, new features added often. iphone, android, and windows apps, browser extension.

Cons

Seems there are semi constant price hikes, changes in reps, and feels like a cash grab to loyal customers. We came to keeper due to pricing; they raise the price almost 10% yearly. This is not including discounts they also removed.

### "Great product especially for organizations "

April 16, 2026

4.0

No issues and the the Security audit feature really helps calling out any passwords that should be changed to increase security.

Pros

Ease of use, value for the money and the sharing feature is great for IT who do password resets and want a secure way to share with staff.

Cons

Would like if it included a note taking feature like 1Password provides. The only hiccup I've experienced is it doesn't recognize certain websites - or should say it misidentifies .. but a page refresh fixes.

### "Great toof for enterprise use"

January 21, 2026

Overall experience is good. Admins and users have found their way to work with the tool and they can administrate their own groups / teams.

Pros

Cons

User adoption is always internal process, there is no reminder for unused invitations and no one forces users to activate licences.

### "Trust your Keeper"

May 16, 2025

5.0

My overall experience with Keeper has been outstanding. The interface is intuitive, making it easy to manage passwords and secure files. Customer support has been exceptional, always ready to assist with any questions or issues. It's well documented as well, one of the best documentations in my life. Really. The reliability and performance of have exceeded my expectations, making it an essential tool for my digital security needs. I highly recommend Keeper Security to anyone looking for a robust and user-friendly security solution.

Pros

The most. Hmm.... I can definitely highlight the user-friendly interface and easy to navigate, high level of security and encryption, customer support and quick response times, wide range of features including secure file storage and password management, reliable and consistent performance. As well as license management flexibility

Cons

Some advanced features have a bit of a learning curve. For example, I remember that SSO integration was a bit unclear, but it works in the end.

### "Keeper Security is great, Keeper Connections Manager is not."

July 24, 2025

4.0

Pretty good. Again - has been easy to use and great implementation, our issue is with KCM and having paid for a service we can't use.

Pros

Simple and easy password management. Easy to share passwords in a very secure way with employees who need access to portals but don't need to know the log-in information.

Cons

is great, but KCM is something we enrolled in and haven't been able to use it at all. We were sold on it's ability to provide highly managed and recorded sign-ons, and we discussed which websites and programs we would use it for, and then it turned out to be too complicated for their techs to make work. A waste of lots of time and money.

### "Very good but room for improvement"

January 22, 2025

4.0

The user experience is better than LastPass, but worse than Bitwarden.

Pros

One-time sharing feature very useful Sharing folders with teams and adjusting permissions works very well Great audit statistics Relatively good user interface and user experience

Cons

Browser extension quite cramped and no way to expand No keyboard shortcut to fill matching credentials (Bitwarden has cmd+shift+L) No option to set how a website URL is matched (Bitwarden has several options) Autofill button injected into form fields often difficult or impossible to click, depending on the website's design

### "Keeper is a keeper (of passwords)"

February 25, 2025

5.0

Keeper was a seamless solution when LastPass blew up in our faces. The business relationship is simple, the product is of high quality and my team uses it as intended. For a password manager, that's my biggest ask. We aren't doing anything with PAM or automated changes today but those capabilities exist when we're ready for them.

Pros

It is inexpensive, very easy to use and very secure. Between the mobile app and browser plug-in, I'm able to easily fill in passwords without the risk posed by auto-fill from other vendors. Sharing and organizing secrets is also simple with support for group memberships and shared folders.

Cons

Nothing comes to mind. We've turned on some of their advanced security features like device approval and still no real issues.

### "Customisable but pricey"

January 27, 2025

3.0

Friendly staff and well informed of the product offerings.

Pros

The features are quite customisable and enable an organisation like ours to work within a specific requirements of operation.

Cons

The price is not competitive and unaffordable for our NGO. The API is an additional cost. We may need to leave Keeper purley on the grounds of cost.

Alternatives considered

[NordPass Business](https://www.capterra.com/p/203254/NordPass/)

Reason for choosing Keeper Security

The ability to manage shared passwords amongst a crew turnaround of 3months was critical. The way we have been able to share passwords and force our crew to use the shared folders so things aren't lost or taken from the org was critical. It could do this. We also needed user management so we can manage access and licensing. We found a clunky way to do this with Keeper. Bitwarden and Nordpass could not do either of these.

We used this for all customer passwords so the engineers who needs to have access to the customer passwords get access based on Azure Groups, it's always safe with them!

Pros

Cons

### "Good value but not exceptional"

February 17, 2020

4.0

I have no reason to doubt Keeper from a security point of view, and it's serviceable from a usability point of view, so it's okay overall. For it to become a truly exceptional tool, it would need to add the missing features that competitors have and tweak the UI a bit so that it's a bit more modern. (Like, can we get rid of the "Encryption Enabled" message? It's silly to think a password manager wouldn't use encryption in this day and age.)

Pros

Keeper is reasonably priced compared to the competitors we considered. Unlike virtually all SaaS vendors, they publish detailed release notes for all of their component products, which is \*super\* nice. (I just wish they included RSS feeds with those release notes so I didn't have to make my own...) Keeper is compatible with many different platforms, including Linux (Keeper desktop) and Safari (Keeper browser extension). A lot of competitors couldn't give a whit about products like Linux and Safari.

Cons

It's been years since we signed up with Keeper, but it still has some fairly basic limitations that it needs to overcome. For instance, in shared folders, it'd be nice to have separate sharing settings for subfolders. The UI as a whole is just not as refined as something like 1Password.

### "Top approach with weaknesses in UI"

May 3, 2023

4.0

Pros

In the approach taken to secure customer secrets it is following best practices same as the top competition. The user interface is ok and can be used on all devices without too many issues.

Cons

Unfortunately Keeper lacks configurability and a well designed UI. On the configuration side it lacks detailed and easy to use and understand permission settings as well as no option to set a password policy for the password generator per entry - or probably even at all. The UI is not badly solved, but some tasks are either unintuitive, involve too many clicks, or are otherwise poorly implemented. You can see that no explicit UI testing with several test persons was performed here.

### "Keeper Security - Great Password Manager"

October 2, 2023

5.0

This is helping our staff to manage their passwords and keep them secure. We have also transferred passwords when an employee has left the organization. This allows us to go in and either change the information or delete the account, that we might not have known about if we didn't have Keeper.

Pros

Very easy to use. It does a great job of prompting correctly for the user name and password, unless you have multiple ones for the site, then it allows you to select which one you want to have it fill in. It also is really good at assisting with changing a password.

Cons

When creating a new password it doesn't prompt for what folder you want to save it under, so you have to go into the vault to move it to the folder you want it saved too.

Reason for choosing Keeper Security

It gave our company what we needed and at a cost we could afford as a nonprofit.

### "Keeper Security Saved Me After A Robbery"

September 18, 2016

5.0

I currently use the app on my iPhone 6 and my MacBook Pro. Nearly four years ago I was struggling to keep track of all of my log in IDs and passwords. I knew it was important to have a variety of passwords and a complexity to them across all the electronic areas I utilized. I found the Keeper Security app to be easy to use. I soon out-grew my need for the free version and purchased the full application. This product has far surpassed my expectations! It is easy to use, back up, and synchronize with my laptop. I highly recommend this product for individuals, but would recommend it for small businesses as well. A final testimony to how this product has served me: In 2015 my home was broken into and my spouse and I got cleaned out! To make matters more complicated, we were living outside of the USA at the time. Luckily, I still had one computer and I was able to access my Keeper Security backup. Because I had Keeper I could provide all of the account numbers of my banking information, license, and passport to the police. I could call back to the USA and work with one of my banks and my credit card institutions, because I had kept the phone numbers associated with them in the Keeper Security folders that I set up. This application, this software really saved me during one of my darkest days. Again, I highly recommend this program.

Pros

Easy to use. Easy to access when you need to look up something quickly and in the moment. I have 235 listings currently and I grow the data base each week because I find one more thing to keep secure. I am able to have highly complex passwords for my financial profiles because Keeper will generate them for me. I can choose the length of password I need and press the magic dice! I like having all of my insurance information, email passwords, all the access information I forget to use with Apple, and I can have a different password for each website I sign into.

Cons

The one thing that I have recommended to Keeper is to create a price break for those who want it for just two people in the household. Right now there is no price break for two. The pricing structure is great if you want to buy a family plan, but I don't have five people in my household.

### "Never forget a login or lose a password again. Even those that are seldom used."

April 19, 2018

5.0

Pros

Easy to use app. The new user quickly realizes what a functional tool Keeper is for organizing in logical fashion all you logins and passwords. Folders allow for keeping track of multiple accounts related to the same login. There is the option to leave comments on the app directly inside the folder so that "thing" you have to remember you don't forget. The app allows the addition of fields to expand on the size and amount of data you can enter into the folder. If you have several items that you discover need to be put into one folder you can do this quite easily. I have come to rely on this app and not my memory as the number of logins and passwords in my life grow. The cost is minimal but the value is evident. It is a simple idea that was well thought out and does what it claims to do. What more can you ask from a product? I gave customer support 4 stars only because I have never had to use them for any reason. If service is like the product in terms of reliability than it would have been correct to give them 5 stars. I was skeptical about this product in he beginning because there are so many competitors I thought it was a risky buy. It was a good purchase. I don't love the product it just works!

Cons

The only complaint it isn't free. I have tried other free password vaults and they fall short of Keeper. I know there should be more to complain about but I haven't found anything.

### "Simple, Elegant Password Management that I have used for 2+ years"

November 6, 2017

5.0

I have used the app for over two years and have found it to be a time-efficient and safe way to store my passwords for ALL my online accounts. I also store other important information on there (like SS # etc)

Pros

Browser App Extension allows you to have passwords automatically entered. Such a time saver Seamless integration and syncing between devices I guess we have no way of knowing if the App is REALLY safe but if you goto keeper.com they have extensive documentation on how they encrypt and store your data, their security disclosure and their certifications. I guess if you're really worried you should store your passwords under your mattress at home.

Cons

Sometimes the Browser App Extension Popup does not bring up the correct login. An example of this occurs when you are on an ecommerce site and taken to a 3rd party payment site (ie Paypal Popup) but you retain the shops URL. As Keeper does URL matching to determine what password to retrieve this can be an issue...you need to open the Vault interface and get your paypal password. A way to select what username/password combo from the popup dialog would make things easier.

### "Keeping your information safe!"

June 8, 2021

5.0

I really love the product and I recommend this to my colleagues. I even helped in the implementation of this application company-wide. Before, we were using it for the management level, but now, it is now used in all levels promoting data security and protecting client's data by providing masked logins to operation staff.

Pros

I love that it has the ability to set the access of a user and apply privacy screen. I also love the Breachwatch function that alerts us if there are passwords that are weak and those that need updating.

Cons

It's not that I like it least but I would love it if it's cheaper so it's available to anyone. Pricing.

Reason for choosing Keeper Security

It's just everything we need in terms of the data protection of our clients. Before we implemented this company-wide, we were recording logins in spreadsheets, notepads, and notebooks and this setup was very risky. Good thing we have it implemented! Now, we are able to share logins of paid applications without the worry of being hacked.

### "Keeper. Best Password Manager."

September 18, 2016

5.0

After having my home broken into and dealing with identity theft, I was determined to find the best password manager there was. I wanted an app that synced across all devices. It had to have the highest security standards to protect my login information. It had to be super easy to use. With Keeper, I'm confident that I found it. I now can't imagine going through the day without it. It's a real lifesaver.

Pros

Easy to use. It is simple to save and retrieve passwords and login information. Keeper fills it in for you. It's a real time saver. Creates complex passwords for you if you want. Safe and secure. Syncs across all devices.

Cons

The free version has limited features. I recommend the paid plans. They have individual, family, and business plans available. They are worth every penny.
