Pros Working as expected and intuitive. The possibility to have projects and invite people for that was needed for us and working fine. Cons Sometimes bit complex, especially with approving / resetting things. And the price is quite higher then competitors. Pros learning curve, it's easy to use, the overall experience is ok, as well as the sharing feature, very useful. Cons we cannot migrate from a tenant to another easily, even if requested directly to the customer support. That's something that will take us weeks and it must be done. Another less important thing is the autofill that sometime it doesn't work, but could be because of the website itself. Pros It is easy to install, easy to learn to use, the browser extensions are awesome, the ability to securely share passwords with users is unbelievably helpful in team environments and the search functions work super well. The sales team are really lovely and not pushy and happy to make sure you have the right product for you, not constantly trying to upsell. Cons While I appreciate the added security of not being able to do a forgot password on a master password, it would be helpful to have some sort of opt-in feature for business based accounts for admins to force that for the inevitable person who will forget the password and learn the hard way that they need to start from scratch, as that can be a time drain. They always only need to learn once, but its a time consuming lesson! Easy to share passwords in a very secure way with employees who need access to portals but don't need to know the log-in information. Cons Keeper Security is great, but KCM is something we enrolled in and haven't been able to use it at all. We were sold on it's ability to provide highly managed and recorded sign-ons, and we discussed which websites and programs we would use it for, and then it turned out to be too complicated for their techs to make work. It keeps all our passwords organized and secure, and autofill makes daily logins quick and hassle-free. Apart from sharing with others, which could be improved, it does exactly what we need. Pros Autofill works really well and saves me a lot of time every day. It's also very easy to use: setting it up and getting used to it took very little effort, even without being a security expert. I was able to rest a little easier at night knowing that Keeper Security had my back when it came to my online information. Pros I love that it wasn't super overwhelming for a first-timer when I first purchased a subscription. They made it easy to welcome me into the world of password management, especially when I didn't know what to expect. For the first time, I knew what it felt like to not have to worry about my information getting hacked into or leaked out and sold on the dark web. Setting up 2FA is a mess, half the time I have to save the QR in a file on my computer before manually uploading it on Keeper. Also, "sharing" or "managing" secrets from an admin perspective over employees is kind of weak. Everybody is sharing passwords once at a time w/o using folders or groups and I don't know to whom, what, etc. It's a mess. Director of IT Defense & Space Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Decent Enterprise Password Manager" May 3, 2020 4.0 We hoped to get users to adopt using keeper, but have had pretty poor overall adoption. Early on, there were some bugs in the browser integration that caused user headaches, and Keeper developed a reputation in our org of being a problem, not solution. Average user thinks storing passwords on the web is insecure, and people make crazy arguments as to why they do not want to use a PW manager. Short of an edict that it must be used, adoption has been our major issue. The IT team users Keeper, and we are happy with daily use. We have had pretty good support from Keeper when problems have come up. Most issues were getting the Connection to Azure working (documentation was not up to date, the Azure Web site had been modified). Migration between versions was another big issue when some users lost access to their vaults. In short, this is a good tool, but we have not gotten the business value we had hoped for due to poor adoption. Pros Keeper is pretty easy to use. Support is pretty good. Security model is good. Azure / AD Integration Admin console shows good stats on adoption rate and usage. Cons Ability to import from 1 password is very limited. Instructions are poor, and relies on CSV and CSV grooming to get an import to at best partly work. As a long time 1password user, having to manually update every entry, and recreate the OTP was way more difficult than it should have been. One of the Keeper upgrades broke access to a number of vaults, and correcting this was a wasted day of my life. Azure integration stopped working right for these account, had to get them setup again with a Master Password. Seems like the upgrade was poorly on inadequately tested. The need to have a VM dedicated to connect Azure to Keeper- drop this. Other integrations with Azure do not require an on premises VM. Why is this integration not hosted on a Keeper Server? Security audit has no filtering between personal and shared entries. Cannot add columns to audit results, and cannot limit audit to a single vault/folder. Pros Keeper security is an excellent password manager that offers an easy to use mobile application, browser extension and desktop application. It allows Teams to store shared passwords across folders along with individual records. keeper also offers a personal licence alongside the business licence so users can have a separate instance for non business related details. Keeper has good password security scores and threat intelligence although I haven't investigated this much. Cons Keeper autofill can b frustrating when working as it can block fields from custom information and occasionally stops tabbing down into the next text box. When using integration from Azure AD which handles MFA the keeper device approvals security feature can be irritating. Having to run a Windows service to avoid this can be frustrating. It has competitors, some of which are slightly cheaper, but you get what you pay for. Keeper is rich in features and can really help you to get your business's or your own cyber security under control. Pros Keeper has given me the ability to create, maintain and securely store and retreive more than two hundred and fifty unique passwords, PINs, and the answers that I have given to the security challenge questions that I use to access password protected websites as well as my numerous devices. I also store a lot of sensive data in Keeper, like family health records, contents of safe deposit boxes and their locations, license and VINs numbers on autos that I own, etc. It is a wonderful tool for both work and personal records and because I only have to remember one password, it can be long (mine is more than fifteen digits) and can contain numbers, symbols, and upper and lower case letters. All of my other more than 250 passwords maintained by Keeper are similarly complex. The length and complexity of the passwords that you create is limited only by the rules of the individual websites that you use. Can you remember 250 distinct, long, randomly generated alphanumeric passwords? No, but Keeper can. Just remember to put a copy of your "master" password in a secure place (like a safe deposit box) in case you have a memory lapse. Cons Almost nothing bothers me about Keeper. It has many, many features, some of which I have yet to use, but it works well on all of my devices (Windows, Android and iOS) as I currently use it. There is a learning curve with Keeper, but not to difficult. You will be using many of Keeper's features after a few hours of use, and its basic features after a just a few minutes.
