It is a must have for any business to decrease abandoned carts and increase conversions.

Pros

Chatra allows me to chat with customers in real time to resolve their questions and it helps me increase sales

Cons

I would suggest having a option to send attachments/pictures through the chat that will allow me to show the customer the product in question

Thanks for the review, Jessica! We already have an option to send pictures and other types of files in the chat, you can activate it in the Chat Widget tab at app.chatra.io. However, this option is available in our paid plans only. To send a file to a customer, click on the paperclip icon or drag and drop your file into the text input field. You can also paste files from the clipboard.

We added a chat with us widget on our website for free. It was easy to setup and it has a mobile app that we have on our phones and can handle client requests on the go.

Pros

It is free :) One of the few solutions on the market that offers you a free tier for low traffic websites.

Cons

The UX of the app can be improved. But, for us, being free, it is OK.

Overall its a good tool but and great that their is a free option for start up businesses. However i feel that things like sending messages through to your email should be a lot quicker thus you can catch a customer while they are still online.

Pros

Free option, allows customers to get direct help with any issues they may have.

Cons

That iff you're not online sometimes it can take a while for the message to go through to your email, sometimes this can be within a couple of minutes other times up to a hour.

We usually delay the forwarding of offline messages by 5 minutes, so if a visitor sends you several messages in a row, you'll receive one email with all the messages instead of multiple emails. In some cases the delay may be longer than 5 minutes, usually in depends on the mailing system and your mailing server. How often does the delivery of offline emails take more than 5-10 minutes for you? If it happens regularly, please send us an email to support@chatra.io with more details.

Having this live chat App helps us both being in touch with customers answering their questions and showing them that we are alive, working from behind the site. Moreover, it is very useful to save abandoned carts automatizing messages or starting chats if customers are stucked without finishing orders. I would recommend it to everyone who cares about their business.

Great, it was easy to set up and install and make tweaks. I definitely recommend it for businesses that want a simple chatbox.

Pros

I like that Chatra has a clean interface and it looks professional on your site. It doesn't look out of place, depending on your design. With the premium version, you can see live updates and interact with people instantly who are on your site. Plus you can download the application to your computer and mobile devices. If you have to step away from your computer you won't miss a message.

Cons

Nothing so far its a great chat software program for various business types.

Sometimes needs a bit to relay messages, but it's not more than 1-2 Minutes and only in some cases.

Thanks for the feedback, Mariela! Actually we have a file transfer feature in the paid plan: to attach a file, click on the paperclip icon or drag and drop the file into the message field. Both you and your customers can exchange files during the conversation. The maximum file size is 20MB.

CHATRA's communication has been fantastic from beginning interest to providing details on how the CHATRA program works. Appreciate the guidance.

Pros

I like the possibilities of the instant chat this will provide to our customers. Just have the availability is a plus.....shows we are progressive on our interest in staying in touch with our customers. The software was easy for our website provider to install. The functionality of the CHATRA is easy to follow for the ADMIN and user.

Cons

Can't think of anything negative at this time as we are at the early stages.

### "Great for Communicating "

We use this when we need to hold inter-office conferences when dealing with clients and sharing information but cannot physically be in the same location. We also will use it between employees when sensitive information needs to be discussed and we cannot speak freely within the office - i.e. if a client or customer is around

Pros

My favorite thing about Chatra is the that you can store all your conversation history - we have more than one office and sometimes when things get hectic and we have meetings the information will be "forgotten" this is an amazing way to go back in and check all the facts and figures once things have calmed back down - it is a real life saver

Cons

The biggest issue I have is that there are a lot of other software companies that are very similar. I do personally like Chatra but since there are so many options it may be best to find the one that works for you budget-wise and for your needs.

We can now easily resolve queries without them emailing us and creating a ticket etc. This reduces ticket amounts.

Pros

It looks very professinoal and clean on my website and the color customization is much better than anything I have seen to make it fit perfectly. The new 'Chatbot' is great and I have now been able to get back to people when I have been away from Chatra. Also what you get for free is great. Also on paid you can see as they type before they press send which is great.

Cons

It's kinda confusing to finish chats when you both have said bye.

Chatra also allows us to have a personal connection with our consumers. We highly recommend Chatra as an alternative means of customer service!

Pros

Chatra is a live chat system, which has helped me stay connected in my small company with different types of clients. Being able to have more than one chat open at the same time, Chatra offers you the opportunity to maintain perfect contact with buyers and sellers of the market. In its free version is an equally functional application, although with its limitations, it is enough time for you to understand how the application works. Paying the monthly membership is ideal for small companies to always stay in touch with all the buyers in the market. Fairly recommended.

Cons

Personally, I'm not in favor of the free versions. I think that the periods of testing in such a complex application as Chatra are not enough to be satisfying to understand 100% what the application offers. and as last two complaints is that the software does not have html support and does not have time triggers for active pro chats.
