Pros

I'm able to get instant notifications from potential customers via this app. There is no delay and I do not have to wait for an email notification.

Cons

I do not like how the names of the chatters appear as random aliases rather than their real name. The messages seem to be haphazardly sorted into 'queue' and 'missed', which make it confusing for me to check.

Thank you for the feedback, Irene! Let us clarify: Chatra names anonymous visitors after colors of their avatars, but you can enable the pre-chat form and ask your visitors to introduce themselves and enter their real names. As for the messages: if the visitor is online, you'll see their missed message in "My queue" tab, and if the visitor is offline, it'll appear in the "Missed" tab. You can also see all conversations in "All" tab, maybe it'll be more convenient for you.

I am able to keep in touch with my customer who prefer to chat online rather than by phone to keep privacy until the services are confirmed. The customer service team at Chatra is excellent and one of the best, so far my interactions has been with the reps and they all have been very helpful.

Pros

The software is very easy to use and has very good features even on the free trial version.

Cons

As a small start up company I am currently using the free version and so far I am extremely satisfied. I am sure it has much better options on upgraded plan and hopefully will get it soon but cannot afford now :)

It has proven to be much easier to use than other tools like it we have tried and a lot smoother for our users. The paid features that allow customer insight make our ability to respond quickly and thoughtfully a huge asset and always impresses our users.

Before we had Chatra, we had to rely on our customers reaching out to us via email which wasn't always reliable or quick enough for them. It caused frustration on both sides. Now, our customers can have their questions answered within minutes and we're all so much happier for it!

Pros

How easy it is to use on the back end, and the response from our customers. It makes getting in touch with us so easy and they obviously appreciate that!

Cons

We'd now like to hire someone full time to manage it! It can be challenging to try and get my work done when so many messages come through.

It is so important to be available as soon as your customers have a question or need you for something and Chatra helps allow us to be there for them and make more sales!

Pros

It is so important to engage with customers as soon as they're ready to buy or you will probably lose that sale! I love that we can engage with our customers in a fast and efficient way! Timely responses are so important.

Cons

I really have no complaints with Chatra. It was very easy to set up and use and is so important for our website and business.

We try first whit the trial receiving contacts first day, great tool for beginners like our case , for us is important to know the who and where receive the contact and whit Chatra we have it.

Pros

Pros

I have been using Chatra for almost 6 months and I love how easy it is for me and visitors to our website.

Cons

I only wish that there were more features available in the free version.

Reason for choosing Chatra

I saw that another department at the University had the chat feature and when I asked UIT about it, they directed me to Chatra and suggested I try it.

The app has many features that help it to become an all rounder in providing chat functionality to your website. The fact that it has a corresponding mobile app on iOS makes attending to customer questions anywhere possible. Features like automatic online and offline times on a specific day of week makes it an even more valuable chat app for SMEs who do not have a team of customer service staffs handling chat round the clock. In short, a great chat app for anyone who wants to incorporate chat functionality to their website.

The ability to chat with our customers is always something that we wanted to initiate. We love to hear feedback, so real time conversation is always wonderful.

Pros

This is a great way to be able to talk to your customers in real time. We have this set up to speak to customers as they are browsing our website. Easy to use, great response time.

Cons

We are still getting used to this program, but so far there is not much to dislike. I would have to say price is a little competitive, but so far we do like it!

Excellent - cannot fault it.

Pros

Ease of use and the fact it is enjoyable to use! Software has to be something that you enjoy using, and if you do, you get more out of it. Chatra works perfectly for this - easy setup, easy integration and a great interface. The feature list is long and considered, so plenty of options. Pricing is very fair and it just works. What more can you ask for?

Cons

Not much... it's one of my favourite pieces of software and recommend it to friends and clients.

Chatra has been a useful resource in streamlining customer interaction via our websites.

Pros

We use Chatra for customer service on some of our sites so that customers can easily engage (via chat) with a CSR. This makes customer service a lot more efficient. Chatra easily embeds into sites and has rarely ever glitched.

Cons

It costs money, which can be said about most products. It does most everything you ever want in a chat platform like this. Perhaps some day Google will provide a competitor like they do with forms.

It's a way to engage with website visitors who may not have otherwise contacted us.

Pros

Ease of set up and use. Even an amateur like me can do it. I have the free version but if I was a bigger business and needed the chat function more, I would definitely get the paid version. Really easy to implement and use.

Cons

Nothing I don't like about the software although I wish the free version had as much functionality as the paid version but hey, you get what you (don't) pay for.

Overall, we have had no negative issues with Chatra. We have actually increase our number of customers and have received nothing but wonderful feedback from them about us switching to Chatra.

Pros

The set up was simple, it is extremely easy to use, and the customer service was very responsive and helpful. I am able to communicate with anyone at anytime. It has a great design and amazing functionality.

Cons

I have had no issues with Chatra, they will always be my go to messaging/chat option.

I love Chatra. I use it to keep in touch with my store members on my Shopify store and I can watch multiple chats at once and see what users are typing ahead of time.

Pros

It's robust with features and it comes with a lot of functionality on the forever free plan which is always great for starting businesses.

Cons

I have very few complaints. The best features are blocked by a paywall but it does make sense this needs to happen so the team is paid.

We started with the free version of Chatra, which is pretty useful in itself. Upgraded to a paid plan to use integrations with other solutions (Bitrix24, Internet-Shop platform). We migrated from Zopim, since Chatra is less expensive and has basically the same features. Everything works fine, both in the web app and the mobile apps.

For me it fulfills perfectly with his mission. Connect your customers quickly and allow any questions or queries that he has to be solved at the moment. For my is perfect.

Pros

It is easy to use and fits perfectly with what I had to do when I installed it. Get in direct contact with the visitors of my store.

Cons

There really is nothing that I do not like. Maybe some functions that are in the superior packages, such as being able to observe where your visitor is inside your store.

Cons

Some features are for paid members only, but I don’t mind this as it means small businesses like us are still able to use the app for free and we can upgrade in the future if we want to.

It was a basic experience, but I felt like I could've been offered more time during the free trial to see if I really needed this.

Pros

This had good chat window customization features and helped me connect with website visitors easy. There were useful integrations with Google Analytics and other apps.

Cons

There was no ticketing system and was really basic to use. The free trial didn't give an enough amount of time to test how this software would work for me.
