Pros Prior to HelloSign, we would have to email documents for client signature, print and mail them, or have the client stop by in-person. Many of our clients live out-of-town or out-of-state, and a good number of them do not have access to a computer or printer, so it was extremely difficult and took quite a bit of time trying to figure out who was able to sign how. Now, we just send the document using HelloSign, and they are able to sign from their phone or computer, and they do not need a printer. Cons I wish there was a way to insert custom, fillable fields, i.e. date of birth or SSN - there may be/probably is a way to do this, I just haven't had time to sit down and look through/learn it, and couldn't think of anything else to put here. It works for our needs in this small, but quickly growing preschool. We found it at just the right time and it has taken us to the next level with paperwork collection. We have saved a TON of time and it has cut down on the headache of having to wait to receive hand-written documents from parents in the nick of time before school begins. We are way ahead of schedule. Pros I love that it is easy to manipulate and edit documents after the template has been created. Within seconds I can send multiple reminders and amended information to our students' Parents. Cons We had a difficult time getting to a person for help with some features and we would have had to upgrade to find out how to do some things. We simply can't afford that and don't need all the added features. It would be nice if Technical Support was available for all levels of customers. I simply wanted to know if I could send the same template at once to multiple recipients and I still don't know that answer. I was offered another program that was included for free with the software system I use to house all my records for my nanny agency, but it was subpar at best. I chose to continue to pay the $20 per month to continue using HelloSign. Pros I very much enjoy the ease of uploading documents and sending them to the candidates and clients that choose to work with my company. I also love that I am provided with the time of viewing and signing of documents, which helps me track the patterns of specific commitments people are willing to make with my company. Cons I have no complaints, other than the fact that there was not an appropriate industry for me to select when completing this review. I own a nanny agency that locates and screens qualified nannies to present to families. This makes me a recruiter. I would have preferred if there was an "other" option that I could have filled out independently, instead of having to pick the closest industry that kind of applies, but doesn't really. Pros The feature that sets HelloSign apart from the competition, especially DocuSign is the unlimited envelopes (documents) you as a user can send out in a year. Cons Feature that would be good to have is to be able to replace the underlying document once you are in the preparation phase of the document and when you have already set the 'fields or text boxes' in the document, so that if you notice there is a misspelled word or something that needs to be changed you can simply upload a 'corrected' version and keep all the 'fields or text boxes' in the place where you already had them. It would help save a lot of time especially if you are working with longer documents collecting initials from each signer on each page. It has made it so much easier to comply with the state laws regarding our required notices It is easy and convenient to send to our clients and they can get back to us anytime that works for them. No longer are we driving around trying to meet up with clients to get their signature for legal purposes. Saves, time, money, and my sanity. Pros I like that it is very cost effective and just as easy to use as the bigger names. I recommend this product for all companies that need contracts signed. Especially contractors that have to give out legal disclosures. Simple, fast, affordable. Well worth the membership. Cons The only bummer is that it can be a bit annoying if you go to start inserting signatures, initials, dates, etc. and then see something in the document that needs to be edited. In order to fix the document you have to re-upload it and then redo any signature boxes or dates boxes again. However, I this is the same with any electronic signature software. They can't help it if I make a mistake on my main document, so really not that big of a deal. Also, one time I had a bit of a weird issue during the renewal of our billing but it was quickly resolved and handled by customer care. ULIMITED actually means UNLIMITED, unlike their more expensive competitor who offer unlimited until you get to 8 sends per month, then their 'fair-use' policy kicks in to charge extra fees or attempts to coerce you into 'upgrading'. Thus far I have sent 27 documents out for e-Signature. ZERO ISSUE. Smooth. I get an email verifying the Send, the Read and the instant the doc has been Signed by each party, and then a Completion Notice. Overall I wanted value for my $$$... I found that with HelloSign. Very happy!! Pros ULIMITED Document Send4Signature(s) actually translates into UNLIMITED without ANY 'fine print' surprise limitations under some 'fair use' policy garbage. THIS was the a huge Cons I wish the HelloSign APP was available in Canada. No idea why it's not. Makes ZERO sense to me. I can still access it on my phone but I have to sign in using a mobile browser, and THAT means my use can be tracked by companies like Google and Samsung... I DO NOT LIKE THAT! I like an APP that I click on and I'm right there to do business without the extra strokes and 2FA. That annoys me. Reason for choosing Dropbox Sign DocuSign is NOT actually UNLIMITED, it has actual limitations, so DocuSign is actually misrepresenting its product, as least the Single User Option I was considering. THAT pi\*\*ed me off. As far as Signaturely, I really wanted to go with them, but I had issues navigating their platform, too many 'error' messages, and their customer service solution was absolutely too slow to respond, and even though my previous trial with them was absolutely positive, but Signaturely was still 1000% easier to navigate than Adobe Sign. We actually have a Adobe Acrobat DC subscription which includes a Signing App, but the Adobe Sign navigation system is brutal, frustrating and annoying. I have zero time to dedicate to learning their system. I even downloaded, printed off and read their 69 page Adobe Sign User Guide. Short version, it's NOT INTUITIVE for me. I spent about 2 hours figuring out a particular solution to an issue I was having, but I had to cruise all over their website to find that solution. TOO Cumbersome. I will never use it, even though it's basically Free with our current subscription, what's that tell you. Either I'm a total idiot, or their navigation system sux. I'm going with the latter, and I have zero intention of wasting more of my time with Adobe. One would perhaps assume that a corporation the size of Adobe would spend a few more shekels on product development for this one.... apparently the bean counters have taken overridden or fired the common sense team. Their UNLIMITED for a Single User is 8 actually per month, at least that is what I found. I did not like that little hidden codicil, I don't like sneaky buried policies. UNLIMITED SHOULD TRANSLATE INTO UNLIMITED, not become subject to some 'fair-use' policy. I have not run into that 'limitation' with HELLOSIGN... HelloSign actually delivers UNLIMITED without me having to worry about some hidden policy that is not spelled out right up front. Since April 2022 I have sent out 27 docs for signatures with complete success and ZERO Surprises. I made the correct choice. THAT is why I decided to fill out this REVIEW, to save other small enterprises hidden surprises.
