It is not easy to navigate at first but fairly intuitive. I think it could get a facelift in terms of appearance/design but it does everything needed and well at that!

Pros

It is easy to follow up with applicants, input notes, and flag them for hire.

Cons

There isn't an easy way to transfer applications from one type of application section to another without copying it. Otherwise very helpful all around.

### "Near total Train Wreck of a product"

of 23 qualified applicants, we could only get 7 to figure out how to complete the application process. Of those 7, we were able to hire 1. There can be a large variety of reasons for a company to not convert applicants to employees, but 16 of 23 never had an opportunity because they could not complete the 2 stage application process because of the mobile app/Indeed limitations and dysfunctional performance.

Pros

It sounds like a good idea. I like that applicants can complete onboarding on their phone

Cons

Anybody applying on a phone thru indeed is at about a 70% risk of not completing and getting confused. It sounds like this might be true for other job boards as well, but I cant be sure. There is a two stage application process that is different for mobile users than desktop users. Most of our applicants get 'lost' in the process and we never complete with them. This after calls, emails and texts to help them. The ATS is not integrated with the Onboarding system at all except a one time data transfer initiated by a recruiter or admin user to migrate from one system to the other. Then you have to revert back to the ATS from the On boarding to communicate with the candidate. The systems are two different companies. One is ApplicantPro for the ATS, the other is WorkBright for the onboarding. Aside from the job page they create to link your posting - the sites cannot be branded for your company. This is not user friendly, not integrated, not seemless at all, not easy for applicants and difficult to manage with the two different sites not integrated, the irritating new window opens for every click in the ATS. Then when you time out and have to log in again, you have to close all those open windows. IT sounds silly, but very time consuming if you are a busy person.

Reason for choosing WorkBright

We liked being able to communicate by text (but most communication cant be automated by text, you have to copy and paste automated email portions to text, and still pay for each text). We liked the applicant being able to complete forms on their phones and sign. Otherwise, this is a total train wreck of a product and service.

Thank you Randy for you candid write up. I can hear your frustration and disappointment. Yes, as you indicated, these are two seperate products: Workbright is our core business which focuses on Onboarding, and Applicant Pro that we use as a lightly integrated third party ATS provider. We use Applicant Pro as it works well for many of our Onboarding customers, but as you expressed, it did not serve you well. WorkBright Onboarding works easily with almost any ATS, so in no way do we want you to feel limited in your choices. Regarding this situation, we will do everything in our power to make it right and are happy to refund you completely for your ATS, as well as support you in a transition to another, if that is what you choose.

We use Kiosk mode in many of our production units, but the clever use of smart technology to allow for remote verification from authorized persons is what really revolutionized our process with the I-9s, especially for our remote sales team. No more hunting down employees and local HR staff in a three-day crunch. Most of our new hires complete their I-9 before their hire date, which has increased both efficiency and compliance.

Pros

This was a game-changer for our national company. We used to spend over an hour per I-9 between tracking, reminders to local HR, and hand-keying completed forms into e-Verify. Now, it's just a matter of entering a name, e-mail, and start-date, plus the occasional outreach to the less tech-savvy. It has more than paid for itself in hours-spent and stress relieved, not to mention the increase in our compliance rate.The interface is clean and modern, and the adaptive forms and automatic emails make it an easier process for all.

Cons

There is a little confusion about the home screen, and the difference between some of the areas, but that will likely clear up when we begin using the software for all our onboarding paperwork.There are consistent mistakes in the entry of Permanent Resident or Green Card numbers--most fail to include the three letters before the number. I plan to suggest this as an improvement.

### "Easy and Efficient System"

All needs met with zero complaints!

Pros

WorkBright has been essential in maintaining compliance with our employment process. BrightStar Care is held to an extremely high standard. Between being a part of the home health industry as well as having the Joint Commission standards requires we be above board in all aspects of hiring and personnel file management. WorkBright makes that process extremely easy to manage and does so in an efficient manner.

Cons

No complaints with WorkBright. My needs are met on a consistent basis.

Took 50 pieces of paper - all ISO forms and configured it easily into the system for a full auditable digital picture.

Pros

The system time stamps all the paperwork which our legal department loves and the ease of using the system for quick look-ups of a policy signature or form is helpful.

Cons

Today the platform does not integrate with my HRIS system, but sometimes that is a good thing so that it is a standalone product with easy capability for corporates oversight of multiple locations and HR hiring authorities.

Pros

Trilled with the software! It is so easy to use and has completely changed the way we onboard employees. We are so thankful we found Workbright and has made I-9 compliance a breeze.

Cons

We have run into a few issues with edge case reverifications. However, the Workbright team has been super helpful in these situations. Some of the admin pages can be hard to use at first but the office hours have been great!

Pros

Simplicity for new hires that are onboarding. It is very easy and straightforward. Easy to understand what needs to be done even for someone that is maybe not very technology saavy or dislikes tech. Also it has eliminated errors and inconsistencies with onboarding and paperwork. And we can actually read the forms we are getting from new hires!

Cons

Lack of form logic capabilities... meaning it would be really great if when an new hire was entering certain pieces of data based on what their response was that it would assign them a specific form.

The Simplicity and ease of use on the new hire side for completing forms and going through the process.

Overall, we love WorkBright and have no plans to switch to another software. The positives highly outweigh the one negative problem we have.

Pros

The software works well at working behind the scenes to bring all of the onboarding documents together. As an HR Coordinator - its easy to go back and access past documents. We like how multiple people on our team can access, approve, and edit the provided documents.

Cons

We have issues with the start dates populating from our applicant software - applicantpro. Once the start date is in WorkBright you have to do some very specific navigating to get notifications and alerts properly changed. I wish there was a way to soft reset an employee so that dates were accurate!

Time management. We can assign times during the day to view and approve submissions then go about the rest of our day. Also, because candidates receive deadlines and email reminders about submitting the required forms, we spend less time on the phone calling around.

Pros

I probably like the ability to run expiration reports and send requests for new submissions the most. I schedule a day and time each month to run reports of expired documents needing renewal and am able to send the request to as many employees as needed at the same time! Love it.

Cons

I love using WorkBright and can't think of any features I dislike.

### "Easy Employee Verification"

Pros

WorkBright is an effective product for a company that hires work-from-home employees from all different parts of the US. The use of Smartphone technology to allow Authorized Representatives to verify work authorization combined with the ease of uploading and tracking these employees makes this critical part of any business with a similar workforce very efficient. Automatic system notifications as well as customized reports add to a product that makes this essential business task much easier than other methods of employee work authorization.

Cons

There were time out issues when trying to access a large group of employees within a specific stage of I-9 completion. Also, there does not appear to be a way to complete a rehire or reverification process (Section 3) of Form I-9 which is a natural part of work authorization for companies employing seasonal workers.

We used to have problems collecting all the applicable forms from our employees hired remotely in the two states we cover, but now that we use WorkBright, we have a significantly better return rate.

Pros

WorkBright's system is well organized and easy to use. The remote I-9 feature is a lifesaver for our company's needs, and their customer service is awesome! They always respond in a timely manner, and you can depend on them to follow up. I can't say enough good things about WorkBright's product and customer support!

Cons

I haven't found anything that I don't like about WorkBright. They ask for feedback on their product, and they've implemented suggestions made by users. Their remote I-9 verification email could be stronger, but I have my own follow-up process with new employees being hired remotely.

Pros

We would be lost without WorkBright. We use it for all our I-9 and e-verify needs and must have it now that remote verifications are not allowed to be done through zoom anymore after Covid.

Cons

There's honestly nothing I can think of that I don't like about WorkBright

I love the program, the staff and Team that I work with. I have nothing bad to say what so ever!

Pros

The ease of sending staff the required paperwork for onboarding and continuing training. The ease of speaking with the Team and getting assistance when needed.

Cons

I have the ability to go in to the forms and see who has not completed..say one of the test.. I have to go into each staff and resend/request resubmission instead of just clicking on the forms folder, selecting the ones that have not finished and do a Mass re-submit for those. I can click on them but there is not an option to -resubmit from the form sectionin itself.

Reason for choosing WorkBright

Like I stated, no other product like it and it meshes with ABS. There were a few glitches with some of the forms, or transfers, IE pay rate- We have different pay for different types of clients, so we can not put is a Way Rate so it was paying our staff $0.. lol.. But the Team fixed it so that that does not have to be a required section for us.
