Pros Ease of use. The dashboard is well designed and easy to navigate. The ability to save contact information for potential investors, track conversations, set reminders, etc. is great. Cons The price. I have opted to use the free version of the software because I cannot justify paying the subscription fee for the amount I use the product. Pros 1) CRM for investor tracking. aka our Funding pipeline 2) Better than salesforce for this specific niche (start up fundraising) 3) Synced with Angelist for easy investor prospecting 4) Report and Pitch Deck hosting. We have one link that we send out. We update the source report on Foundersutie and investors always have access to our most up to date pitch deck through the original link. We also get to see which investors view the report and who doesn't. It's a quick way to find out who is interested. Cons \- Setting and viewing activity tasks requires a few steps. Cons Haven't found a reason to use it outside of investment rounds. Creating a way to add tasks and reminders would be super useful. Also, copying boards to new rounds could be useful. I also love the customer service; they have always been there when I needed help with something. Cons The only con I could think of is the price. Pros Being a first time business owner the hardest part was getting the paperwork. I loved the fact that the foundersuite came with a lot of the documents you need to start with. Cons The first time I used (this was over a year ago) it, I was a little confused about how to use it. But after a few months of using it, they made updates to it that made it easy to use. I guess my con is still a pro lol. Just glad they listen to their customers! It's probably 200% more efficient than using spreadsheets, and it's a really clean CRM experience for investor conversations. It means our fundraising team is all on the same page, and understand what is taking place in our investor relations. The reporting system is fantastic as well, easy to produce clean, sharp looking reports. Cons Trying to interact with our different boards (ie. Seed A or Seed B) is difficult. I'd like to see an easier copy paste function. Sometimes when you engage with a potential Investor, they are not suited for your current raising, but you want to revisit them during the future. Right now when you make a new board, all you can do is say "yes" to copying the previous board. For first time founders, especially in non-startup ecosystems, Foundersuite provides a much-needed bridge to global capital. Pros I can store my startup story and associated documents in one page that can be sent via link in an email to whomever investor I want. Really clean and highly valued user experience by all stakeholders. Cons If I use the Edge browser, sometimes my attached documents don't delete when I want them to. They use external email integration engine which is most likely banned by Google Suite default security/privacy. So if any company using Google Suite may have the same issue. Pros The fundraising cycle management concept is good, that’s the reason why we subscribe this service. However, when we start using it. The poor email integration make us stopped at very beginning and can not moving forward. Cons Clean user interface and easy to understand layout. We didn't have anything before this besides Streak pipelines. A CRM really is critical but one not streamlined for fundraising really wasn't worth it. Cons I stopped using it awhile ago after we raised our funding so it's tough to remember specifics. I don't remember anything specific really standing out to me as major issues. Really just that there wasn't a need for it after we raised our round. Something around investor updates would be useful for us. I do wish there was a way to import sheets from excel into your system. I understand that is probably fairly hard to set up but it would be nice considering most founders have their CRMs in Excel. Being able to see at a glance how you are doing on a round, and the ability to share the load with other members of your team. We have four team members actively involved in connecting with potential investors, and it's very helpful to see the progress we're making on a daily basis. Cons The more I use it, the longer the "wish list" for new features gets. Pros Integration with LinkedIn in order to identify investors within our field of investment and categories.
