Comments: The program is very easy to use and their concept is great. I was initially impressed by all the features they provide and I will say that using ADLware has helped streamline several process flows for my office. ADL helps centralize data, helps keep track of clients, important dates, things that can easily be forgotten. Their reporting tool is probably the best that I have seen to this point.

Despite all this there are some issues that hinder its growth and popularity at my company. For one. It. Is. Slow. When the staff consistently complain about the wait time from screen to screen its an issue. Waiting 5 - 10 secs for a screen to load might not seem like much but if you're switching from 4 - 5 screens per client and need to work on X number of clients the wait time can add up fairly quickly and become very annoying. I have brought this up many times with their support staff but there has been no significant changes since we signed on with them. Although they do say they are "fixing" the issue.

Bug fixing issue is also a big mark against them. If it weren't for the nice staff on the help line I would give them a zero for customer service. There is no set time or communication as to when bug issues will be fixed and and there is no way to see the status of your issue. Once an issue becomes internalized they close your issue. No resolution/fixed/in queue. Nothing. We have several bug issues that are still "being worked on" from when we signed on. That's nine months! Can you imagine if Apple or Windows had a bug issue that was nine month old with no resolution in sight? There would be riots. In the case that issues do get fixed you will never be notified unless you contact the help line to check on the issue.

New features are rolled out every month. However, its hard to get excited about these new features when you know there are several bugs/issues that are still being ignored. I also feel there is no communication between their help line/trainers and their development team. There have been cases where we called in to ask about new features and how they work and the help line/trainer did not know what we are talking about or how to help us.

Overall the product is ok. Would i recommend this to others? probably not.

Note: If you are looking for custom features to fit your specific needs you may consider looking elsewhere as they do not do software customization.

Pros: The price is the only thing saving them. Cheaper than all the other products. But I guess you get what you pay for and we've learned that lesson the hard way.

Cons: The stability of the system is horrible. It's constantly buggy and key features stop working for long periods of time and the help desk is horrible about replicating the user errors which delays the problems actually being solved. I don't trust the billing and payroll data, so I do alot of offline work to ensure we do things properly. The usability of the system is not good, you have to click many many times to complete tasks and things are in many different screens which is not efficient. They don't automate processes that should be automated causing alot of manual offline work.

Recommendations to other buyers: Don't bother looking at them, your employees will hate the system and the support has really fallen off since Kinnser bought ADLware. Old owner was great to work with and very responsive. Now company is too big and moves too slowly. We are actively looking at new vendors.

Comments: Pros: I like the software overall scheduling, plan of care, etc
Cons: Billing has been a issue for me since I got the software I asked that my payments be drafted on the 15th of each month and it does for a few months then it is being drafted on the first of the month. Also, I don't if it because we are in a rural area the gps doesn't work accurately and their have been issues with the telephony system . So I am deciding to cancel my subscription and look at another software provider.

Comments: We have had a very good experience with Kinnser ADL. They have built out reports and products that we specifically needed that no other software could offer. As with any product, there are always some changes I would make, but they have worked hard to try to make it very easy to use. I would definitely recommend this product to someone in the personal care staffing industry.

Comments: We have had a difficult time with the reports making sense. The billing summary does not match the hours scheduled. I don't feel confident with reports. The scheduling works well. As a business owner keep a pulse on your agency can only be accomplished by accurate reports!

Comments: Nice for families to be able to see schedules and tasks associated with their loved one's care, but what would really help is notes from caretaker visitations (to show the detail; the nuances) plus ongoing communication and documentation (such as reports from Dr visits; lab results, photos, etc.).

If you want this platform to appeal to end-customers who have family that live in other places, I urge you to take the communication flow between the caregiver and the family to the next level, i.e. give the caregiving organization more detailed communication capabilities so that everyone is in the loop on day-to-day care...realtime. This would save both the caretaker and family time/money.

Pros: It's easy to navigate the website, retrieve information, and ensure confidentiality.

Cons: Sometimes, the mobile GPS clock-in system doesn't register and isn't very compatible with my Windows phone.

Recommendations to other buyers: Please keep in mind what the needs of your company and clients are, since there are separate portals to accommodate both.

I use ADLware with my in-home caregiving and psychotherapy company.

Pros: I appreciate the customizable features of ADLware very much.

Cons: There are certain features of the scheduling software that are clunky, including the "deleting bulk shifts" feature.

Recommendations to other buyers: Having clarity about your needs is essential to customizing and utilizing this software to its fullest potential.

Pros: The program seems adaptable for many clients needs.

Cons: Unable to get technical support 24-7. I needed answers, and the online library had very limited resources.

Recommendations to other buyers: Create a user manual for your staff detailing the system.

Pros: The communication platform is great for multiple caregivers to stay up to date.

Cons: The clock-in/out platform takes the longest to learn and correct when not entered correctly.

Recommendations to other buyers: It seems to have a long learning curve. Clock-in/clock-out has been the most difficult to adapt to.

Totally customizable which is exactly what we needed!

Pros: We have many unique systems and the software allows us to customize everything.The mobile GPS is easy to use and is so much better than having caregivers clock in on a client phone through telephony. The staff has offered extensive training and are easily contacted.

Cons: I wish the adlware app for administrators and schedulers had more features for changing schedules.

Recommendations to other buyers: Go in with a rep and have them show you around the system after watching the video. It will give you a really good idea about how the system works.

Pros: This software has changed our business sand united all of my teams. We had 5 systems and now are down to ADLware and our accounting system. So simple and now finally customers, sales, marketing, care managers and office staff are all in one system.

Cons: No real cons. I would like the iPhone App to work when my phone has no network connection.

Overall: They have really been amazing to work with and a the system has really brought together the organization. Never been excited about software, but ADLware has changed me. Really love it and so does my sales team.
