### "WL Yoga Studio - Great Software"

Pros

I have been using WellnessLiving for two years, since the opening of my yoga studio. I had used other software at different studios for many years prior, and WL is far and away superior to the others. From an admin standpoint, it is easy to use and very intuitive. The interface is user-friendly. They’ve thought of everything from client retention and promotions. It really does save so much time. Our students love the app. It is a rare circumstance that people have any trouble doing their own admin like purchasing passes, enrolling in workshops, booking for classes… Again, it saves so much time on my part. I don’t even have a desk at the studio - everything in the system is done on my phone or iPad with a few clicks. Also, in the rare times I do need support, all I do is email, and I get a quick and thorough response. The on-boarding process was seamless and the WL team has such a great, well-organised process to get a new business up and running. I would recommend this software 10x over to any yoga studio owner. Not sure if this exists yet but a branded app for Android would be helpful. iPhone app is fine but the Android users have to use a non branded app which gets confusing.

I still try to fix all issues. but looks like it's impossible. just waiting for my patience to burst.

Cons

I am very disappointed with this system. I recently moved into it with my two yoga studios! Every day my clients complain about problems! Instead of adding new functions, it would be better to make sure that the basic ones work! Every day I encounter malfunctions. The transition from the previous system took two months. I'm already looking for another one

My favorite part of WellnessLiving besides the customer service is that I have my own app that is free for my clients. Many people live on their phone in this age, so it's extremely convenient! I'm almost always able to reach a live person if I need help with anything. I've never really waited on hold more than a couple minutes. If someone doesn't answer, my call is always returned, and there's always a follow up. That is extremely important to me.

Pros

I like that this software encompasses all the features I need - scheduling, membership/client database, reports, store inventory, point of sale, appointments, classes/events, marketing, notifications, etc. There are just so many features, and it's very customizable.

Cons

At first some things were confusing to me, but it's more because I've never been in this role before where I've needed to completely implement a full software system for a business. Someone was always able to help me find a work around if there was something I needed to do and couldn't figure out how.

Reason for choosing WellnessLiving

The variety of features - it had everything I need. MindBody does as well, but the price of MindBody is way out of my budget in order to get the features I have right now with WellnessLiving. I also heard negative feedback about their customer service.

This all-in-one business management software has been a great help in managing and growing my business. It has given me all the tools I need in one place, which is very convenient and saves time.

Pros

It is your all-in-one platform that provides me with all the tools I need to run and grow my music school business. With your online booking system, I can easily manage my schedule and allow my clients to book classes and appointments conveniently.

Cons

Although they offer training and support, it took me some time to fully understand how to use all the features at my disposal. I have also noticed that sometimes the user interface can be a bit overwhelming due to the amount of information and options available.

I was hesitant about switching to Wellness Living because I honestly thought it was just too good to be true. However, this company is everything it says it is and more. The affordability and value is hands down the BEST in the industry. They have a "small business" approach with industry leading standards and service. I truly LOVE this software and this company.

Ease of use, attractive interface, Impeccable customer service! I'm consistently blown away with how great this software is! The customized white label app is so professional. Being a very small studio and having our OWN app for our clients has had such an impact on our business.

I don't really think there is anything I don't like about this software. I'm able to use and experience it exactly how I need to.

### "Wanted Wellness Living to work for me"

I used this for personal training memberships and this system did not function. It started giving clients more sessions available to use when clients had not paid for sessions. It didn't give the correct amount of sessions clients paid for. The session counts vs how much client paid monthly were always wrong. This made for a huge nightmare financially and h to do every client manually on paper while paying Wellness Living. The support staff had no resolution "they're looking into it" "there's a problem with this and we're working on it" No fixes made, just band aids. Clients were frustrated in that they couldn't book due to difficulty - not easy system compared to others they had used for different companies. Clients got frustrated paying money then their session counts wrong. Clients got frustrated because the app always had a glitch or wasn't working right. Many technical issues with Wellness Living and their support staff were hit or miss. I really wanted it to work because they have everything I need. But after 2 years and literally daily phone calls on client accounts, I switched companies. I would not recommend Wellness Living. They are trying to do too much too fast and their system isn't working properly. This is for personal training and bootcamp businesses I have.

Affordable and offered everything needed.

Cons

Offered everything needed but functions did not work. Difficult to use for clients. Functions they had did not work such as rollover sessions. Created a bookkeeping nightmare went they did upgrades and messed up every accounts sessions (credited and debiting client sessions the were or weren't paid for). There's no management to call - they only give you on boarding and tech support.

### "Overpromised, Underdelivered - Extremely Poor Customer Service"

Where to begin? The salesperson we spoke to made promises about the software that they failed to deliver on -- we're a semester based business and the software was not set up for that. We had to perform numerous workarounds that took hours to complete on a daily basis--and, due to this, were unable to use 90% of the automation that had attracted us in the first place. The software itself looks nice but it is massively overengineered and requires extensive training to use properly whereas competing software (that we eventually switched to) does everything that we need with not training at all! We told them what we needed, they said it would work, and then it didn't--eventually they even started saying that they would need to code new 'enhancements' to make it do what we needed but that it would take months. Customer service is awful. We never were able to get back in touch with our initial salesperson and, after we signed the contract, the service kept getting worse. Once it became clear that the software would not deliver on promised features it took THREE months to cancel the contract, and they continued taking monthly payments in the interim. Most recently, I found that they never cancelled the merchant services account as promised and hundreds of dollars were charged without my knowledge over the course of five months (I'd had taken a new job so my partner was running things), and they still refuse to refund the amount! A nightmare company. I do not recommend them!

\- Requires a great deal of training to even begin to use. - Overdesigned and packed with features yet fails to tailor itself to your businesses needs. - Expensive compared to similar software. - Bad customer service (expanded on below).

Love that the software is easy to navigate, the help bar is actually helpful, customer support is available when you need it, they are friendly, efficient and always looking for ways to improve. So many awesome resources!

Before I met with a business advisor, I felt like there were so many tools I just didn't know I had or how to use them.

Right from the start Wellness living were there every step of the way and have helped shape my Pilates business to run like a dream. Everyone at Wellness have gone out of their way to help and explain how I should be doing something or how to set up an area of the system to work it best for the business. In fact, some of the skills I have learnt from them, I am now able to use in my day job. From the start, Wellness Living has exceeded my expectations from a customer service point of view. They have patiently worked around my lack of IT knowledge to working across time zones - (I am UK).

Pros

The ease of access for myself and my clients is brilliant. All my clients love the fact that all they have to do is download an app in order to view, change or make an appointment. the integration with zoom has been a life saver during lockdown. I also really like the fact that the system sends out automated emails as a reminder for their appointments and even wishes our clients a happy birthday which is a personal touch that makes all the difference. Integration with my website was seamless as was transferring my existing client data

Cons

I had to really think about this and the only thing I could come up with is that for a new user or member of staff, its difficult to explain the difference between purchase options and appointments.

### "Wellness Living - Great for a small yoga studio!"

Wellness living allows us to track and communicate with clients very easily. If provides us a seamless booking process for our clients and has and endless amount of reports available that help us manage our business decisions.

Pros

My favorite part about wellness living is the customer service and support. There are so many things this software can do and it can seem overwhelming at first, but there is always someone available to help via phone or email. Wellness Living allows us to do everything we need for our studio.

Cons

There are only a few things I don't like - The client sorting/filtering process is a little tedious when running reports or viewing different types of clients. Also, I know they're working on it, but the messaging feature is not available on the mobile app yet.

after initial excitement and an authentic support to WellnessLiving there was nothing what I could enjoy

Cons

Despite my efforts and despite the intervention of their customer service on all tiers, including an expert, membership appointments were counted faulty, adding or subtracting clients' appointments at random. There was a mess with payments Undefined quotes were charged to clients at random. I lost a lot of time and nerves in the process. Keeping it short, the time I spent trying to crack this software as well as the stress it caused impaired my relationship with my team and clients. As a result, I closed my company and gave up pursuing a career in the fitness industry after 15 years of being a coach. Their data migration from your previous software is a joke. Avoid this software at all costs.

### "Avoid! Waste of time and money!"

When I first looked at WellnessLiving they were way too expensive. They call me to tell me they have drastically dropped their prices so I met with them and it seemed like a good fit. I met once with an onboarding specialist and she told me to log into my account with the login info given to me in an email and gave me her contact info, did a short demo and gave me some homework to do to set up the system on the back end in my account before our next session. After our meeting I try to login and I cannot get into my account. I quickly learn that they extremely poor customer service. I email the onboarding specialist and it takes her over 36 hours to reply and then says she doesn't regularly check the email she gave me during our 1st call. When I tried to call her and tech support, no one answered the phone. I have asked that they refund 4 days ago because I haven't used their service nor do I want to because their customer service is so poor. No response in 4 days! Avoid!!

Pros

Unsure because I never got to use it as I couldn't get into my account.

Cons

Lack of customer service and professionalism Being billed for a service I haven't used and no one returns calls or emails

### "A System with Great Potential"

Use it every day and love it!

Pros

I store my appointment details on my calendar, but I can’t keep track of them when I’m in a hurry. WellnessLiving is a lifesaver especially for people like me who need to be organized and reminded about my meetings. It contains a simple interface which is straightforward to use. The best part is I can actually book a lunch meeting while searching for a restaurant or location on Google. Our staff can check co-workers schedule and manage appointments simultaneously using this software. No need to pick up the phone or send an email to check if you’re available on that date.

Cons

I was quite disappointed with the customer support. They were slow to respond and not knowledgeable about the software. They need to train them to be more equipped for troubleshooting concerns.

Pros

I made the switch to WellnessLiving in Nov 2016 and we are so glad we did! We used Mindbody Online for over 6 years and found MBO to be very expensive and complicated to manage. We wanted something simpler at a good price. After completing several online demonstrations of some other softwares, we were more than pleased with WellnessLiving. After the switch, the WL team took time to train us, answer questions, and gave us as much time as we needed to be comfortable with the software before the transition. Transferring the data was probably the most stressful part of the process, but the team at WellnessLiving made it quick and painless. We did have 1 error after the transfer and they were quick to make the correction to the system. There was no extra work on our part! Staff and clients were a little nervous about the transition, but once they got a chance to see and experience the new software, we have had nothing but compliments. Our online sales have jumped 60% - paying online is much quicker and more convenient! The support team has always been very helpful in quickly answering our questions and educating us. Over the course of a year we have seen WellnessLiving implement some amazing upgrades taking our feedback to heart. It is always evolving to serve our studio even better. Switching software can be scary, but with a well managed software like WellnessLiving, it is easier to use and at a great price, making the switch was one of the best decisions we've made.

Cons

If we have to list a con, the one thing that comes to mind is sometimes the dialog box that confirms a task has been completed lingers a little longer than needed. The site can be a little slow during peak times, but has never been to a point where it's become an issue.

### "Great Interface, User Friendly But Has Glitches"

Pros

My favorite thing about this software is that it's user friendly. Our entire staff finds it so much easier to learn and use than our former software (MindBodyOnline). The mobile version is also great and we love their free app. We don't waste the money for a branded app because their app allows you to be the only studio that your client will see when they login (unlike MINDBODY Connect). In the beginning, I also really liked the customer service. We have been using it for 2.5 years and got in early so they have been great to us.

Cons

My least favorite part is the reports. They are inconsistent, they don't often make sense, and they are lacking in sophistication. We used to run very extensive monthly KPIs with MINDBODY and now we often don't trust the data. This is a huge bummer.

### "Simplicity Healing Review"

Overall, very good! When I first started with them, I didn't feel their setup or tech support were up to the task, especially in light of how much there is to learn w/ the software and how it can be best customized to your business needs, so I had to go through some frustrating fixes and changes initially. BUT, it has improved A TON since and I am much happier now :)!! Also, thanks to some GREAT tech support reps along my path, I now understand the software very well and have come to realize how powerful its functionality is! That is a good feeling and I work thru the system daily now w/ great confidence. :)

Pros

Its interface and variability in function. Wellness living has a lot of powerful features once you understand the system well. I like how responsive they've become as well (since my beginning w/ them in Oct of 2019) w/ their tech support. They do their best to help you.

Cons

My biggest issues w/ WL are minor details such as the software not being very Mac friendly and the inability of adding notes that are appointment specific only on the schedule. They do have a "client suggestion log" where they encourage your to post your ideas and wishes for future upgrades to their software, so they listen to what clients are saying!

I have been very pleased with the software and especially the support. I feel like a get a lot of use of the features. This was not true with my old software. It was too daunting to figure out.

Pros

The assistance with transferring data from my previous software and marketing features support. The software is very intuitive. I actually look forward to investigating new features instead of dreading it because it seems doable.

Cons

I kind of dreaded having to deal with extracting the data from 13 years from my old booking software but got good help.
