Overall I have had an terrible experience with wellness living. The first three months I lost $1000s of dollars as clients were not able to Login, book appointments, hold credit cards. I have watched my business decrease over the last year as customers have no patience for the program. It's slow to load, freezes and does not allow them to book . I have spoke with customer close to 100 hours over the past year. Emails don't go out properly, push notifications glitch. This program goes down at least a couple times a month. SOAP notes do not work on the app.That was one of the HUGE reasons I switched.

Pros

Ability to see all locations on one screen.

Cons

GLITCHES GALORE! Slow Program. App doesn't work like it supposed to.

Hi Camille, This is not the experience we want our customers to have and we apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused you. Though we have numerous customers who run successful mobile businesses, our software was built for brick and mortar establishments. We worked around your schedule and asked our staff to do additional training sessions in the evenings and on weekends for you. During your Onboarding we discussed potential issues that may come up if you are in areas where there may be spotty internet or poor Wifi connectivity, but you said you would be fine. In reference to SOAP notes, these were added to the app in March of this year, but you have yet to enable this feature. Our support team called and emailed you, but we did not get any responses. Unfortunately, it does not seem like WellnessLiving is the right fit for you, but we would love to assist you in any way possible in your transition to another software provider. - Blake M. This company is amazing and is going to help me revolutionize our business! The onboarding process was seamless and the entire team was there for me every step of the way. The staff at Wellness Living are nothing short of excellent! From my very first sales call with \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] to my onboardingn specialist \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] both have been nice, knowledgable and helpful. What is more unbelievable is the customer service through the techincal department. I didn't realize I'd be getting such a supreme team package when I signed up, SO GLAD I DID! Sign up with Wellness Living, you WON'T REGRET IT!

Pros

The format of the software is easy to navigate, use and is friendly to a non technical user. The costomer service team is unreal. Any problem anytime I can call and they are ready to assist. This alone makes the software purchase worthwhile.

Cons

Like with any software there are occasional glitches. However, even with some small glitches sometimes, the technical department is ready to solve the problems and has done so in a timely way each time.

### "So many options"

Overall, anything that could be thought of as a need for business especially in the health and wellness is included in this software. There is a lot of marketing and incentive to get customers engagement and in this short attention span that is a huge plus.

Pros

This software has so many options, it is so useful, and caters to so many markets. The ability to set sales, to share coupons, to do email campaigns is so useful. everything in one place makes work very easy. Now that so many people are on their mobile being able to integrate a lot of the mobile options is a great assist.

Cons

The automation of marketing and design felt like it was a little short on customization compared to everything else on the site. There were options but there was an expectation or more. Not enough to shy away from the software at all.

Overall I am very happy with Wellness Living. I was with Mindbody before and was not happy with the customer service, the amount of money I was spending for what I was getting and the overall experience with them was not great. Wellness Living has been wonderful, I am so happy I switched.

Pros

Wellness Living makes my life so much easier. The system is easy for myself and my clients find it easier to you as well. The customer service is excellent. Any little issue is addressed quickly and with attention to detail.

Cons

When adding new services, I have to go into each purchase option separately to add the service. This is a little frustrating, especially if you miss one.

We are truly grateful for discovering the WellnessLiving scheduling system. It came at exactly the right time when we were becoming discouraged with the shortcomings of our previous scheduling system (Mindbody) that we had been using since 2011. Here are the reasons why we switched. From an end-user standpoint, the WellnessLiving scheduling and business management system is a simple yet powerful tool that allows our prospects and members to easily view, purchase and schedule themselves into our classes, appointments, and event sessions, get familiar with our instructors via their bio's and pictures. A powerful feature of Wellnessliving that was requested repeatedly by Mindbody clients for several years and never implemented, lets a student link relatives to their profiles in such a way that allows one client to pay for, manage and schedule other family members. It allows members of their family to use purchase options designed to be shared. This allows a parent to create an account, set up a linked account profile for their 13 year old child and, they can pay, schedule, view and manage everything without requiring the child to have their own email address! Another robust built-in feature is the loyalty reward points program that rewards students for doing certain actions like, share their reviews, booking and attendance activity, leaderboard score, your promotions, instructor profiles and so much more. Once they accumulate enough points, they can redeem the points for prizes! For something similar to this, you had to use (Perkville) a third-party partner of Mindbody. From a business standpoint, as a former software design engineer, I was looking for a single source system that provided a robust scheduling system with automated email and SMS marketing, web-site and Facebook widgets, a mobile app or mobile-friendly website with easy client and staff setup, customer reviews that can be shared not only on my website but, on social media sites as well. It also needed to provide an online store for purchasing passes, memberships, packages, gift cards, products, a loyalty rewards system, and reporting, be easy to set up and use and be customizable...the Wellnessliving system has all of this and more! To sum it up, Wellnessliving is truly an all-in-one solution providing every feature we were looking for, for our clients and, for managing our business!

### ""Borderline Predatory" Credit Card processing fees"

Not much, very confusing to set up at the beginning. Like their business practices even less.

Cons

The member of my networking group who owns a payment processing business looked at my WellnessLiving contract and said that the payment processing fees of Paragon, the company that does the credit card billing for WellnessLiving, is quote -- "borderline predatory." So as a business owner, I have been paying a very high percentage of my sales to Paragon. My annual contract with WellnessLiving was auto-renewed in November, without sending me a notice, so now I am stuck with them until my second year contract expires with them in October. They also require a 30 day written notice before your contract expires, in order to avoid being auto-renewed. If they ran a reputable business, they wouldn't make you jump through hurdles to end your contract. I have already informed WellnessLiving (several months in advance) that will NOT be renewing my contract with them.

### "Find another system! this review is from a user of 8 (long) years with WL"

they are not the best software and we have tried to love them tried to give them time to fix the issues (8 years long enough, you think?), but they are slow moving to fix things and fast moving to add upgrades that are untested and don't work when you try to implement them anyway. You have to pay for services you don't use nor plan to ever use and you cannot trust that any part of their system will work on any given day. its hugely unreliable. Sometimes appointments show up as paid and sometimes they don't. Sometimes you can send an email and sometimes you can't. Some days everyone gets their texts and the next day the same students don't. sometimes the classes are deducted from the pass and sometimes they aren't. The worst is when you call support they act like your issue is false and that it's not happening on their end and the system is perfect. oh-but since you are experiencing an issue (they don't believe is happening) here is a time consuming and confusing workaround to use. They will never fix the issue. and if they do, trust me the fix is temporary! it will be messed up on the next update. we hold our breaths (that's actually funny when you teach yoga) when WL says hey- update coming! we are like OH NO, whats going to go wrong this time? and how many hours will we have to use to fix it, workaround it and convince support hi, there is a major issue with the system...again. I am writing this review right now because there was another update last Tuesday and a patch fix today and I needed to send out a timed email at noon today, and the system wouldn't even give me the option to send an email at all today. LOL , my partner was like, well what did you expect? and I was like but the email looked so nice, too bad no one will ever see it. :( and I don't want another business to go through what we have been through. Life is too short to use a software that works only when it feels like working. find something else. But if you like troubleshooting and that makes you happy, then this is your best bet for that - you will be very busy! LOL

Pros

I like that I can take care of class passes, appointments. and sometimes it works, when it works its great, when it doesn't-well, the rest of the story is later.

Cons

emails don't work when you need them, updates are not tested at all and cause huge issue upon release. Sales reports are consistently a few dollars off. depends if are you using 2 different computers, different browsers maybe a phone... we crack up. I always ask my partner can you give me the approximate sales today? Its never accurate, ever. Sales tax report is no longer accurate. it was for a couple of years, but the latest update changed that too. Merging duplicate clients and the ability to keep a current client data base is impossible. Updated clients is the heart of a small business. and our poor little biz heart is totally outdated. 1/3 of our client list is outdated because WL won't update their merging system. you must pray (if you pray) that your future clients have never used WL elsewhere in their past.. that old account will be a forever account even if the client WANTS you to update their info. you can't. you will either have duplicate clients or outdated lists. its your choice which style of confusing client lists you prefer. at least WL gives you a choice there, LOL.

”I was very worried about the switch from Mindbody but it turned out not to be nearly as bad as I thought. I did have to help many of my students do initial login and download the app so they could see schedule and book/pay for classes, but once that was done, it has been seamless. The integration for zoom is useful, I was doing manual emails for this beforehand and manually adding to ClassPass which was time consuming. The automation is worth the 19$/month, and removes a huge headache from my daily to do list. Starting zoom session from the app made it much easier for my teachers as well.”

I became a client of WellnessLiving in 2015 and presented a limitation of the previous software I used to a senior member; not only was my request listened to but, it was implemented within that year (Book-a-Spot tm)!

Pros

The company listens to its customers! They accept & implement good idea suggestions which improve the platform for all businesses.

Cons

The first iteration of CRM is largely manual; it's a good start but, it needs to be much more automated to compete with vendors who are primarily focused on CRM solutions in their space.

These people are true Yogi’s they really do support your business and do the very best to find solutions the the things that inevitably go wrong in life. They are fast and always wonderful to speak to on the phone, instead of creating problems they work very hard to solve them I would certainly not hesitate to rejoin them when i find my new location. i have enjoyed the clear conversations to fix things as a person who is so not technical in anyway. I can not say enough wonderful things about \[SENSITIVE CONTENT\] & the entire support staff at wellness living. The former owner used mind body & it was a nightmare. Switching to wellness living was the best decision we made. The entire staff jumped thru hoops to get us onboard in record time & make the transition as seamless as possible. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

Very committed to customer service, whenever I have a question, they are there to help...I attended the CanFItPro conference this past weekend and checked out the Wellness Living booth at the tradeshow and was pleasantly surprised to be greeted by Avital, my onboarding specialist...she actually remembered me a year later! Can't say enough about how helpful this team is! I have also been impressed by the numerous functions such as the Transformation Log and in-house challenges made possible through the app. My members love it to reserve and sign in to classes and find it easy to use.

Cons

Not as intuitive as I would have liked, but I'm not super tech savvy. The online tutorials and customer support make up for this!

### "Tremendous waste of time and money"

Total scheme- won't let you leave early without paying for full year of service. I had so many clients and employees complaining about the interface and functionality of WellnessLiving I bit the bullet anyways. Don't be a fool.

Pros

WellnessLiving is thoughtful in the breadth of its components- however the navigation, utilization and integration of these components leaves a lot wanting

Cons

Booking and calendar navigation was extremely slow and tedious- we ended up using Google Calendar simultaenously just because it was too burdensome to book appointments through WL unless we were actively collecting payment at time of booking. There are no substantive resources to train new staff with WL- this is entirely on the business to do rather than WL. No worthwhile integrations. Having now switched to a much more effective and comprehensive software, I'm paying roughly 30% of what I was paying for WL.

### "Overpromised Software"

I was directly promised two crucial things when I signed up, only to find out that one of the items required a $500 fee, and the other required me to purchase their own hardware, despite being told I did not have to. Since I signed the contract EVERY meeting they have been late to by at least 5 minutes, as much as 30. Their support is useless, so far they like to send me to useless videos, or to clear my phones cache every time I use their app.

Pros

I like the zoom integration, otherwise so far it doesnt exceed expectations in any other area.

Cons

Both apps, Achieve and Elevate are buggy. The web interface isnt overall bad, but requires at least a 30'' monitor otherwise you have to scroll. The Achieve app only allows for portrait mode, which makes usability difficult. Some places there are buttons at the top, and the bottom, and when scrolling these disappear. The admin app also crashes a lot, probably every few hours - and yes, I am using brand new ipads and iphones.

Pros

My favorite part about WellnessLiving is the simple integration into your mobile phone's calendar app of choice. I use Google Calendars (even though I have an iPhone) and it's a simple way for me to check my daily schedule so I know what time my first patient will be!

Cons

I do find that online booking for my patients is challenging, mostly due to the links being unreliable. However, I like chatting with my patients before they book so I have a rough idea of what they will be coming in for, so this isn't a dealbreaker!

Wellness Living is all-round awesome - it's like hiring 3 more people to do the work I've been doing on my own, for what seems like forever. And they do it WELL. It's professional, with an approachable & accessible interface, even for clients who are uncomfortable with computers. The response from their support department is dependably fast, with efficient and effective answers and solutions.

Pros

The best things about this software are that's it's user-friendly for everyone (not just the business owner) and includes all the great features you get with other platforms (online booking, e-commerce store, client retention tools like email automation and rewards programs, etc.), that work the way they're supposed to, but are also easier to navigate, monitor and maintain. The appearance and customization allow me to direct clients to my online store and booking platform without feeling like they've left my website, which strengthens my branding, nurtures trust and keeps their experience a professional one. I love that Wellness Living has done away with all the features one doesn't need in this kind of software and optimized the features that are most useful and necessary.

Cons

Honestly, I can't say there's anything that I don't like about this software. Their development team is constantly improving and innovating, and if there's a customization or feature you want added, they take it seriously and keep you in the loop on their progress.

### "Decent software, terrible customer service. "

I liked the software. It did what I needed it to do. However, the cancellation process was unlike anything I've ever experienced. I understand contracts are signed but most companies will hear their customers out and work with them to come to a solution with contracts, especially during COVID times when fitness businesses are often struggling or pivoting to keep their lights on. The scripted conversations and lack of caring was really disappointing. I do not blame the employee for this because they are just doing their job but it was like talking to a robot. I had recommended this software to other businesses in the past and

The software did what it was meant to do.

Cons

Cancelling your membership is next to impossible. Delay upon delay and getting passed from one person to the next all while they are still charging my account then charge a massive fee to get out of a sneaky hidden term of the contract. Brutal customer service.
