### "Recommend WellnessLiving for class bookings"

Pros

WellnessLiving makes scheduling classes and events very simple. Enjoy that they have a mobile app that we can customize to our own brand for the customers to easily use and access their classes and account. It also has text messaging so we can mass send texts or individual to each client.

Cons

There do seem to be frequent bugs and issues that are hard to get resolved. Typically when you submit an issue ticket it goes nowhere, had to learn a loop hole and submit a ticket a different way for it to work but most times they don't have solutions. It's usually a user that replies and suggests things that we've tried but customer service is very minimal.

Ogni lezione prenotata genera automaticamente una notifica (email o SMS) e, se previsto, il materiale didattico di Diritto o il link per la lezione online viene inviato preventivamente.

Pros

Il principale beneficio di WellnessLiving per un professionista è la gestione autonoma dell'agenda. Poter offrire agli studenti (o alle loro famiglie) una piattaforma dove visualizzare le disponibilità, prenotare in autonomia le lezioni private ed effettuare pagamenti (o gestire pacchetti di ore) riduce drasticamente il tempo dedicato alla logistica via chat o email. ### "DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT, you'll be sorry with NO assistance when you need it."

Disappointing and frustrating. I was overpromised on features that are unorganized and don't function. \*Tech support comes literally 3 days after my call, text, and email requests for immediate help. I have lost members and clients during this time. \*They told me so many things would transfer from my existing software to WL, but hardly any of it did - now I'm constantly using a spreadsheet for member credits, client credits, and gift certificates. \*Software seems in its infancy, lots of idiotic things (I couldn't call tech support from my personal phone as it wasn't listed as a staff phone - who wants to tie up a business line for a half hour at a time to end up getting dropped and never called back- and who is calling tech support that doesn't need tech support anyway)(calendar frequently has days and days of the week wrong - others say the app is ALWAYS like that, but I've seen it correct frequently)(A client can only pay for another client's services with credits they have IF a relationship between the clients was created BEFORE the appointments were booked - they obviously never worked at a spa before deciding to set up their software like that) \*I can't use membership features like promised \*The app for scheduling CONSISTENTLY shows the wrong day and day of the week (for example, the 19th will have a dot showing it is today, Wednesday - when today is in fact, a Tuesday the 19th) The calendar on the actual cloud software frequently does this as well. How can their main calendar be wrong all the time? This causes a lot of trouble for our receptionists.

Pros

The option for add-on services at the point of booking, Text confirmations (which is an add-on marketing feature that costs more than the software), User interface was attractive, and to be honest I liked all the "yes" answers I was getting from their client support SALES TEAM before the tech team set me straight that those things weren't possible.

Cons

\*\*COMPLETE LACK OF TECH SUPPORT - Minimum 24hr delay in response from a live person. Usually about 3-5 days, sometimes more. They say you are able to call their 800# for immediate help, and it ALWAYS takes over 24hrs. "We have a higher than normal volume..." They have NO client support available. I can't stress this enough. \*Forced to use Paragon payment processing (Nuvei) and any credit card equipment MUST be purchased through WL, and not anywhere else. \*Any assistance from problems with the set up of your software (which was done under THEIR advice) must be handled in a single 30min tech support block usually happening 4 days after their initial response (which took 3-5 days) \*I constantly get ads to upgrade to their Ai bundle, the pop up frequently blocks what I need to see to actually do my job \*You can't contact tech support without saying NO to the Ai at least 6 times. Then it asks if you want a human, you say yes, then it makes you continue to chat with the bot answering questions that were ALL answered in the chat they forced you to have with the chat bot initially. \*The constant funneling me to Ai instead of a person. I get 4 emails pushing me to use their Ai features or add ons for every 1 that is answering a problem I have. \*Not intuitive to people that have used similar industry specific software for years. \*Takes FOREVER to check anyone out, click here, click there, go to store, click item, click add, click check out, click method, click, click, click, Client is annoyed long before the process is finished. \*I have been using WL for over 6months, and every time I talk with tech support, they tell me I can't have the function I'm trying to have because of the way my appointments are set up (They knew exactly what my business was and how it functioned and guided me to set things up the way they are, BUT their software can't handle simple things like a client sharing a monetary or session credit with another client) Clients do like to gift each other session passes/credits they aren't able to use, but WL doesn't allow it. \*Seems like this is more a program for a place that only holds group classes- class booking may work okay, but not individual appointments. STYLISTS, LMTs, Estheticians, Reiki, and other practicioners, STAY AWAY - this may work for yoga or dance classes, but it's not for anyone that does 1:1 time booking. \*Adding photos to your store for products or services is awkward, different things require different dimensions, IDK why a haircut would have a different size for the image than a meditation session; both seem like services. but one is always cropped poorly and one is small, there is no rhyme or reason for how it is set up. \*With all the lack of client support, it is not the decent value for money I though it would be when I unfortunately signed the contract. \*Not sure why, but one of my text alerts just randomly quit coming, they still have not figured this out or fixed it, it's been a month now. \*You can not use WL from a phone, and the app is incredibly limited. You can't expand the screen to show the days calendar without rescheduling any appointment you touch.

### "RUN FROM THIS SOFTWARE"

Wellness Living was great when it was a new software, but now it is a money-hungry corporation. Right up there with the worst of them. High credit card processing fees, many software issues, horrible support, bad software updates, it gets very messy once you've been with them for years due to not being able to delete or archive anything. After 9 years with them, I cannot wait to be finally done; that is when they stop begging me to stay, and finally terminate this auto-renewal contract that I am stuck paying until the end of the year.

Pros

The look and feel of the software on the back end. Software was great at first now is awful. DONT GET THIS SOFTWARE.

Cons

I have been with Wellness Living since 2018. In the beginning, it was great I have now terminated my contract due to a lot of issues and loss of income and clients. You cannot delete or archive anything. They do software updates that will create more work for you and your team without addressing current software issues. The review integration has never worked properly to connect to your marketing pages. The rewards points have never worked properly for redemption. The contract that you sign is on auto-renewal. When you try and cancel it they will make it extremely difficult to terminate. Your actual contract is not what you sign its the terms and use located on their website. When they increase your fees annually, you don't get a notification, and you will not be notified when your contract is up for renewal. They make it extremely difficult to terminate and will refuse to remove your business.

### "DO NOT USE"

From the get-go, there were some issues. But they steadily got worse over the years. I’m actively searching for new software.

Pros

It does basic crm functions. It does allow you to text and email clients. But the cons heavily outweigh the pros.

Cons

Not sure where to begin. One year after I joined them, they raise the rate that I had agreed to. A couple years later, they rolled out their forms, which whether I wanted it or not added more money that they take every month. The most recent, was taking features that I had already been paying for and putting it behind a paywall but I can only access if I pay them another $50 per month. You cannot choose your own merchant services and are stuck paying whatever fees their own merchant services say. They used to be somewhat responsive when you had an issue. They’ve decided to let AI try to solve all of your problems, and it doesn’t work! At times, I’ve waited over a week to hear back from a human being when I had an issue. This company had good potential, and went the wrong direction.

### "They don't let you cancel - do NOT recommend"

This is not a company that operates in integrity, and therefore I would not recommend it to anyone. They are stealing money from me after I've tried to cancel.

Pros

I used the WellnessLiving software for almost two years. While using it, I didn't have any major complaints except missing functionality and complexity.

Cons

Once I decided to leave WellnessLiving, the cancellation process was a complete nightmare. There is no information about how to cancel listed anywhere. I had to get on a call and ask what the process was. I had to ask the rep multiple times because they kept dodging the question and trying to sell me on staying. I finally found out that you need to give written notice at least 30 days prior to your contract expiration or you will automatically renew. I did that and the email was completely ignored. I sent the notice on February 26th and it is now April 21st and they still have not processed the cancellation. I've tried emailing and calling the support number and I get NO response. I'm starting to think the customer success/support team doesn't actually exist. They have kept charging me so now I will need to file fraud claims with my bank to get the money back and stop any future charges from this company.

Overall, my experience has been a mix. On the positive side, my Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\], was personally helpful and genuinely advocated for me when it came to resolving billing and consolidated billing issues. I appreciated that level of support. However, I've been frustrated by hidden fees that were added over time, especially annual fees that weren't clearly disclosed upfront. I also don't appreciate that new add-ons get added to my account automatically, expecting me to opt out of something I never asked for in the first place. That part of the experience has left a bad taste. So while the support team can be great, the company's approach to fees and automatic add-ons needs improvement.

Pros

What I liked most about WellnessLiving is the level of personalized support I received from my Customer Success Manager, \[sensitive content hidden\]. He genuinely listened to my concerns and worked hard with the merchant team behind the scenes to make things right. On top of that, consolidated billing was activated on my account as requested, which has simplified my monthly accounting significantly. It's rare to find a platform where the support team actually advocates for you rather than just giving generic answers.

Cons

What I liked least about WellnessLiving was not appreciating the hidden fees that were added on over time, especially the annual fees. Also, new add-ons should not be added on and expect us to take them off when we never asked for them to begin with.

### "Too Many Games"

Overall, it was a fairly difficult package to set up - requiring lots of work around. Ultimately, it became less and less reliable and I had to move to something else. Even now, I cannot get ahold of anyone in customer service to provide my 30 day notice not to renew. This is a perfect example of what it's like working with these guys. Everything is a huge hassle. I faithfully paid my subscription fees until the agreement ended - but they make it impossible to get in touch and provide the required notice not to renew.

Pros

Originally, it was more reliable than our previous software package. As time went on, it became increasingly less reliable.

Cons

The product had too many down times, and the customer services was incredibly difficult to access. Even now, I've transitioned to a new software package, and I cannot reach anyone to provide my 30 day notice not to renew my contract with WellnessLiving (by design I'm sure).

Pros

I love their incredible customer service & multiple software functions that allow me to run my yoga & fitness studio.

Cons

nothing. Even when there is a issue or not a function that we need, that are always on it. The correct issue, offer incredible support and build new functions around what businesses need.

Pros

I compared many software companies when I opened up my yoga studio and WellnessLiving by far had the best customer service.

Cons

I still have a hard time sometimes with freezing memberships and adjusting future billing cycles but whenever I call with my questions they are patient and walk me through the steps.

Overall, I enjoy using Wellness Living and I find it to be a great tool! It is convenient being able to make payments through the app as needed, users can be put on a wait list, and it is great for marketing.

Pros

Wellness Living is a great tool to utilize to market your classes/studio, as well as user friendly when booking a class. It also easy to make payments through the app and the layout is presented in an organized easy manner.

Cons

I have found the application can be glitchy at times, which I have found to be an annoyance. There have been times where I had to close out or redownload the app, which then fixes it.

### "A company that listens"

I have been with wellnessliving for over 5 years now. They have done a great job at helping me thru the years to curtail the software to my business. When I need something to work differently, they have been really good about helping me make it work as expected or have worked diligently to get back to me with an answer so that I can move forward. I would rate it 5 star and hopefully can again in the future, however, I’ve recently had a few issues with reaching tech support. I have been assured this is temporary and have to trust that their tech support has always been 5 star. Response a little slower than normal, however my issues have all been answered and resolved to 100% satisfaction.

Pros

WL has a good overall product and thru the years constantly listens to their clientele and makes improvements. Historically tech support has been superior.

Cons

I have recently had some issues with slow response from tech support, however, given my past experience, this is not normal for them. WL has contacted me and alleviated all of my concerns.

It's a bit overwhelming at first but the onboarding is good, and there's good customer support. The AI assistant is solid and appreciated.

Pros

Wellness Living has a good AI assistant, \[sensitive content hidden\]. During and after completing onboarding, I have leaned heavily on Isaac for new issues, and reminders of things I've been show.

Cons

Wellness Living is quite extensive and not as intuitive as I might like. I'll get used to it but, for example, it would be nice to be able to duplicate appointments like I am able to in Google Calendar. You can duplicate appointment types, but not calendar appointments.

Cons

Takes a little time to learn all of the features but that is a normal part of the learning process. Wellness Living’s customer service had multiple meetings with me to navigate everything and was super helpful.

Even if it's not the most lightweight or modern-feeling system, it offers strong functionality once you’re set up properly.

Pros

Very comprehensive platform for managing fitness, wellness, and studio-based businesses. The feature set is strong especially for studios that have multiple offers like classes, packages and recurring memberships. It also helped us reduce no-shows and admin work with some of its automated features.

Cons

The interface is a bit cluttered and could be fine tuned. Customization wasn't always intuitive for our team.

What impresses me most about Wellness Living is the adaptability of their team as well as the software itself.

Pros

Intuitive, full functioning platform for running our barre fitness practice. I like that the platform continues to evolve.

Cons

We have been requesting some new FitVid functionality for over 2 years as a means to grow our business. We have also encountered account manager turnover which has slowed down the attention on this request in particular.

We had a great experience throughout our entire process from demo to follow up after starting the new software. Pros

This software is very customizable and if you ever need help you can reach a real person who will find you a solution. Great customer service and easy to navigate!

Cons

I think the main complaint is that when our staff uses the elevate staff app sometimes changes are a little slow to show up on the schedule or the staff needs to refresh the app to get the change to show up.

Pros

WellnessLiving makes running a business easy. Everything is all in one place. We have detailed profiles for all of our clients, their attendance and spending history. We can plan events and send marketing emails all from WellnessLiving. This saves time and money having everything on one platform. Their customer service is top notch! If I ever get stuck or need to learn a new feature, their team is quick to respond. The thing I love the most is they are always improving and adding new features! They listen to their businesses and try everything they can to make our life easier!

Cons

I'm still waiting on some features specific to my business but overall this is the best platform I've found.
