Pros: The program is really easy to use, integrates with Google Calendar and Google Chrome, and provides incredible accessibility by providing an app that can be used on any device. Camera quality was superb as well as the audio capturing device. Very good quality for the money.

Cons: The product is tied to the leasing of a camera. We had to tie ourselves to a hard wired product. The product was good, but the camera and set up cost a bit of money. Seems like integrated Google hangout features for us Google for Education users would suffice.

Overall: Great audio for a large room setting. Their microphone made it really easy to hear each person speaking in our boardroom. The camera gave a nice wide-angle view of the room. Costly, but could be worth it for the right business.

Pros: Intuitive interface. Requires no manual or training.

Overall: Whether used on laptop, conference room monitor, or smartphone, the experience is the same. Simple interface to connect, to discuss, to present, and even to include participants via audio who do not have highfive video capability.

Pros: It works and it is easy to use. New features are being added too which I don't doubt will make it even better!

Cons: Some minor alterations and support still need to be added to be completely platform agnostic. (IE windows phone support)

Overall: We have been using this product for roughly one year. During this time it was been great but more importantly the support is phenomenal. Highfive has had our back at every turn from helping troubleshoot odds and ends to literally training our clients. The product just flat out works and the support is unmatched by any vendor I have dealt with to date. I highly recommend if you haven't already to look into this company.

Working remote, HighFive is a lifesaver.

Comments: We've been using Highfive units between our locations for about 18 months, and I couldn't be much happier. The hardware (both video and Dolby audio) are incredibly easy to set up and use right out of the box. You really can't beat it for the price!

Pros: Zero latency, Dolby audio system, cost, equipment size

Cons: We have to repair the Dolby audio unit every time it isdiconnecterfrom power source to reuse it.
Need to have ability to record through unit (highfive) a session . Rather than third party unit.

Overall: The highfive experience for us has been great. We utilize the systems,(we currently now have 3), for expanding our distance learning programs throughout 3 counties. The video is clear with little to no latency and the Dolby audio is a must-have addition!

Recommendations to other buyers: Ability to record (all in one through highfive system )rather than third party unit.

Overall: I have 2-3 meetings per day through high-five and constantly have issues. Sadly I have to use google hangouts as a second options.

Cons: When it has poor connections or there is background noise if you don't mute yourself

Overall: Most of the time, it works great. There are times when there is a poor connection. Those times make it difficult to use when having team meetings with people from different offices. It is nice to be able to see people but also mute and disable the camera. Sometimes if you don't mute when others are talking, there is terrible background noise.

Cons: Sometimes the hardware will hang and give a purple screen only. Sometimes the person on the other end gets voice feedback, I am not sure how to stop this.

Overall: High five have developed a simple easy to use the conferencing system that works every time. With a great interface and simple plugins for mail clients, it's quick to setup and access meetings for people inside and outside the company.

Recommendations to other buyers: The software should shut down when the Pc lid is closed. I have seen incidents when people leave meetings and then don't know they are still casting to the screen.

Pros: How quickly it can be installed and in use, and how friendly the interface is to use.

Cons: Right now the only drawback is some glitching with the launch window, and requiring the user to click leave call instead of closing out the window.

Overall: I was introduced to HighFive during my transition into a new company. I had spent countless hours in previous businesses fussing with dongles, cords in walls and other nonsense to effectively display and conference. Within five minutes of being introduced to HighFive., I was able to operate effectively and was impressed with its functionality. I would certainly bring this piece of technology with me wherever my career takes me next.

Cons: Streaming any mutli-media content buffers and results in issues.

Overall: I love being able to see my coworkers shining faces on this crystal clear feed first thing in the morning. It's almost TOO clear, I feel like my colleague from California is sitting right next to me.

Recommendations to other buyers: Make the sound cooler when it opens! Maybe a "swoosh" noise, or an elephant waking up, or the sound of applause - I can send in audio of my grandmother clapping - just let me know fam.

Comments: Our team has been using Highfive for our weekly meetings since I have been on board (5 Months), along with 1 on 1 impromptu meetings sometimes daily. The simplicity is its greatest strength in my opinion. The call quality has been amazing, especially with the dedicated cameras and Dolby speakers. Comments: I have been using HiFive and the experience has been very positive. The best part is that it just works. In the beginning, we had some problems connecting but the IT department figured out them out (most likely with the help of HiFive tech support).

Overall: This app makes video conferencing the easiest process of all time. Seriously. It's a 2-step process to join a room and be face-to-face with coworkers in other offices in a matter of 30 seconds. And when we have glitches (occasional) where rooms can't be exited properly and stay "open," which means the TV is still "in use," the Hi5 support team is extremely attentive and fast to respond in a chat-like format. Answers within minutes, always dealing with a human (with a great attitude at that), and the feeling that even the most insignificant question/issue matters -- all great aspects of Hi5 customer service that my entire office appreciates!

Recommendations to other buyers: Unsure of the setup process to get it connected to TV monitors -- that may be lengthier and more complex -- but once set up, it's an incredibly easy app to use (and device, when applicable).

Comments: Mostly positive experiences, highly recommended to stay connected with your team. I work on a team across several states, and we are highly dependent on High Five for our daily meetings. I also love that you can obtain a link in advance for planned meetings. Sometimes have difficulty with sound and have to reconnect. Not sure if this is related to High Five or our office internet. The user interface is friendly and easy to use. Can't speak for Customer Support or Value for Money really since I haven't used CS and have no idea what the cost is.

Overall: HighFive is a really great tool! What I love most about it is the ease of use. With a click of a button, you can immediately share your screen or do a video call! It's too easy in fact and I love it. Cuts out all the confusion on calling a bridge number then entering in a PIN.
What I would like to see in the future is dialing out from the Dolby devices and extending your screen to HighFive as a second monitor.

Pros: I like how I don't have to plug in to share my screen and that my room shows up automatically on the screen.

Cons: I don't like how it needs to "polish" every time I want to share my screen.

Overall: I personally really like high five, but don't hear the best things about it from co-workers. I don't have much experience with competitors, but I do find that it's "down" a lot of the time and find that to be frustrating.

Cons: The iPhone app sometimes doesn't open and remains on the opening logo screen. I was unable to dial in once and there have been occasions where calls were just dropped (for all users). You can't select which caller to view as it automatically only shows 2-3 on the screen (despite the width of your screen).

Overall: We implemented HighFive across our locations to better manage communication across our remote locations and for the most part it works well although it has been glitchy. I'd say it works a good 90% of the time!

Pros: Compatibility with Google Calendar, Slack, and custom URL. Ease of use for any age group or user base so far. Looks amazing. The highfive device is incredible at picking up voice and video, plus the custom welcome screens!

Cons: No cloud sync for sharing files during meetings. No Chat in video (not necessary), no individual "window" sharing, it just has full screen sharing as opposed to Skype's window sharing. No video cloud syncing (no one else really does it). Would be nice to see "Egnyte" syncing.

Overall: Well, I am the trainer for this product in the office and find everyone to pick it up extremely quickly. This is especially useful as we use SLACK. Also, the customer service has helped us with ANY hiccups (of which there were a few) and we have been smooth sailing ever since.

Recommendations to other buyers: Once a few more integrations are in place, it can really cook! Utilizing Slack as the chat program while in video would be useful as well.

Great product, works the way you'd hope it would.

Overall: When I started testing, I couldn't believe how fast it was to understand all the application. Whatever I wanted to do, I would do it in 1 click only. Everything that I need from it, it was right there withou having to navigate through the menus to understand everything.

Pros: The sound is amazing, the camera quality is perfect, and its honesty the best video conference equipment we've used. We have tried about 3 different ones.

Overall: The Highfive system is awesome. It was simple to setup, we didn't have any power coming from our ethernet ports so we addressed our concern to the highfive team and they immediately helped us find the best solution. We installed the highfive system in 2 of our offices and their team was there if we needed it for each office, every step of the way.

Overall: Highfive is easy to use and available on multiple platforms which makes it great for diverse teams. Integration with slack is useful as well. Unfortunately, highfive performs poorly when we need it most, working with remote users that may have spotty or poor bandwidth. It also is very CPU intensive. My MacBook is almost unusable while Highfive is running making it difficult to share certain things on my desktop. In summary, we use it because it's cheap, but would switch to a higher quality conferencing service if we could afford it.

Pros: Simple concept, nicely executed, feels fresh and modern

Cons: Sometimes receptivity and sound are poor, but that could be an internet connectivity issue. After every call, you have the chance to rate whether it was good or bad, so it looks like Highfive cares about improving the software.

Overall: Great software! A little complex on the initial set up, but once you download and learn how to use it, it's awesome! I like how you can schedule a meeting straight from Google calendar, so you aren't having to use several different platforms for meeting set ups. I definitely think it's increased productivity by decreasing time spent setting up meetings and inviting people to share screens. Compared to other conferencing services, the reception isn't too shabby.

Overall: Used it between offices with Mac computers, the video and audio were of good quality and connected easily, the device in our office picked up voices clearly and projected the other office's voices clearly. For windows, we had some issues connecting clients but they did get it working eventually.

Cons: Honestly, it's all in the initial setup, I can't pinpoint the issue and I never actually fixed it, but when I got it going it was great.

Overall: When I first started using High Five, it didn't actually work. I struggled to get my computer and my TV to connect. At some point I just gave up on it, but one day I randomly decided to try it, and baam! It worked, and it's been working ever since, and it's easy to use, it's great now.

Pros: When the system works, it's an awesome tool. I enjoy being able to see and hear my staff who are located off-site.

Cons: 1. Sign in process when you have multiple users on a shared device
2. The continued updates that are being made but are not rolled out and offered at no charge to customer with existing systems, who have experienced issues that your update now fixes.
3. Audio - the ability to share you screen and audio with a video - the microphone default setting of only picking up speech and not audio when sharing your screen. ( I have to use Go To Meeting for shared videos)

Overall: The product doesn't really work the way its described. The ease of use was taken away with the new registration process with multiple users

Pros: 1) Extremely low latency on video and audio. This is absolutely critical for meaningful communication. HF blows Skype out of the water, for example.
2) The Dolby audio device that comes with the Pro package is easily the best audio speaker I've ever used. This is literally the hardware that sealed the deal for us (see Cons, too).
3) Customer support is solid. Nice people, good response times, good answers to my very detailed questions.

Cons: 1) UI is ridiculous and very buggy. This is alpha grade at best and very far from "it just works."
2) No way to start a room-to-room conference without a computer or phone at each end running a native app (no hardware remote/control). In theory there's a web interface coming soon, though.
3) Built-in audio from the HF camera device is awful. I would not buy anything but the Pro system for that reason alone.
4) No way to start a meeting "cold" where people join directly to a TV. One must first have a few awkward seconds of self-facing-camera then choose "move this meeting to my TV+HF camera."
5) We frequently have weird audio feedback issues on some computers. There are plenty of reasons why this might be happening but they *should* all be moot: get a web UI that can start a a meeting directly from the dedicated hardware (#4) and this would likely go away.
6) No conference controls for things like locking meetings (PIN codes), strict host controls (e.g. forcibly mute all other parties), and choice of screen sharing details (e.g. share just 1 window, not your whole screen).

Overall: My company is Skype heavy, including the now-unusable Skype hardware cameras (support for those has been discontinued to the point where they're literally bricks). There are lots of computer-to-computer video solutions so our core need was a solution to do video conferencing between large televisions in remote conference rooms. The need for high quality video and audio that works through a TV, preferably without a host computer, trumps everything else. HighFive does that with style, but note my Pros and Cons as they really matter.

Recommendations to other buyers: If you've got tech savvy users and you're interested in early adoption, this is an awesome system. Definitely get it. If you're anything else, beware.

Cons: Having been a FaceTime and Skype user for a long time, there was a little learning curve with how to use Highfive. But after playing with it a little and getting a short tutorial, it seems very straightforward.

Overall: Highfive was purchased for our office as we have conference calls quite regularly but were lacking a software that offered consistent, clean video and ease of calling. Skype just wasn't quite cutting it. There was a small learning curve, as Highfive is it's own software, but now that we use it, we love it! The streaming is very clear, the app integrates with our Slack, and customer service has been absolutely top notch! I firmly believe that customer service can be a huge factor in making or breaking a company, so it is a huge asset and very encouraging that they have hands on, awesome reps.

Pros: Great sound quality. Have not experienced anything better for conference calls.
Super easy to start call (used Desktop and Android app) and move to nearby TV / speaker system.

Cons: Issues with "infinite" update loop. On 2 separate occasions, after working fine earlier in the day, the HighFive software could not locate the MSVCP120.dll. As a result, I end up in an infinite update loop. I did not install / update / remove any other software on my machine in between HighFive working and not working. Using the script supplied by HighFive, doing an uninstall / reinstall (plus removing HighFive appdata folder) did not fix the issue. Both times, the app just started working again later in the day. As a result, I am always starting HighFive well in advance of a meeting, as I am never sure if it is going to work.

Overall: Overall experience has been great. Calls have had amazing audio quality and good video quality. Meetings are easy to setup and start in a rush. Outlook plugin has been handy to easily add conference information to the meeting request. Some technical issues with the desktop HighFive application have detracted from the overall experience.

Recommendations to other buyers: Not having a more prominent link on highfive.com for the software download was odd. I found it under https://success.highfive.com/hc/en-us/articles/204074009-Create-Or-Log-Into-Your-Highfive-Account. Possibly have something on the home page linked as: "Already a customer? Download software." would be helpful. Only became aware of this because I did not want to wait for the email from our help desk with the link to download software. Also possible that I just missed the link?

Overall: The transition has been super easy. It's almost plug and play (so speaking). Very intuitive and cross device has been a pleasure to work with.

Comments: I'm no technology whiz, but Highfive is so easy to use - great for our office, which is about half remote workers. Couldn't ask for a better service!

Overall: Glitches have improved dramatically. Customer support have been very helpful when these issues have come up. My team and I rely on Highfive to be successful.

Pros: It's really user-friendly, we have a few luddites in the office and they were able to figure this out quickly! It doesn't have unnecessary features or programs. It's what it says on the tin. I really appreciate that.

Cons: We've had some issues with connectivity that result from too many High-Five programs open too close to each other? Which means that often we can't be in the same room if we're on the same High-Five call. Also, we often need to share video with audio for our meetings, and presently the software isn't able to do this task.

Overall: I really enjoy High-Five. Very user friendly interface, seamless screensharing, and perfect for across the office sales meetings!

Recommendations to other buyers: Though this issue is a bit of a challenge, but the audio/microphone feedback has been a bit of a challenge to mute/unmute based on who is speaking, etc. If a smoother way could be developed to insure that there isn't feedback, but it's not a whole production to switch microphone and mute, that'd be great!
