### "Robust and Reliable, pity it is so laggy"

December 20, 2017

4.0

it got me started in my IT MSP business, with affordable and reliable services, providing the majority of functions I need keeping my prices down for my customers.

Pros

Affordability: Pricing model is excellent Simplicity: It doesn't try to do everything, but what functions it does have it does well reliability: I have never experienced an outage or unavailability issues

Cons

Web-based creates significant lag. even 2 computers in the same room on a 100/50 Mbit connection is very laggy. They need to establish client-client connections after authentication to improve the experience. No Mobile support: im not supporting Mobile devices remotely yet, but all my customers have them.. File Transfer speeds: Transfering files is quite slow, probably due to the non client-Client connections.

### "Dualmon @ PowerChurch Software"

July 16, 2026

5.0

We moved to dualmon from self-hosted screenconnect, and the process was seamless. We rely a lot on remote access to assist our customers, and dualmon has provided that. Once we get connected, everything works as expected, and my techs say that it's quick and gets the job done.

Pros

Price, ease of use, does what we need without a lot of what we don't. My techs didn't have a lot of specific things they could point to about it, but they're in it every single day, and it works for them.

Cons

Getting Mac users to set necessary permissions on their side can sometimes be problematic. My techs have expressed that they would like to be able to customize the assist codes, and that seems to be because people try to click "Get Assistance" after 6 characters. I suspect that generated code is non-negotiable, so a visual indication in the Embeddable Assist Widget (ie. "\_ \_ \_ - \_ \_ \_ - \_ \_ \_" to show that 9 characters plus dashes are expected) would be helpful.

Our requirements were very specific - we just need to see what customers are failing to explain sometimes, and having a remote session saves us from having to have them send in copies of reports or even a backup of their data for evaluation - and most of the other software/services we evaluated did WAY more than we needed, and as a result, charged WAY more than we were prepared to pay.

Decent experience, should improve speed

Pros

It's easy to use and to implement, it has multiple users and it is very reasonably priced.

### "Simpler than TeamViewer with easy numeric connection codes"

July 17, 2026

5.0

I stumbled upon Dualmon on a website, and after trying it out, I found it much more convenient than TeamViewer. What I love most is how we connect with clients: the access codes consist only of numbers, without any confusing alphabets. This makes the connection process so much faster and easier compared to typing in mixed alphanumeric codes.

Pros

I came across dualmon through a website and found it much simpler to use than TeamViewer. The best part is connecting to a customer — the connection code is registered using numbers only, which is a lot easier than dealing with codes that mix in alphabet letters. It makes getting connected quick and error-free

Cons

So far I haven't run into any major issues. It would be nice to see even more integrations down the road, but the core remote access experience has been smooth

Switched from

[TeamViewer Remote](https://www.capterra.com/p/10042678/TeamViewer-Remote/)

I remember TeamViewer often failing to connect due to version mismatches from its frequent updates. On top of that, its free version had strict time limits and restrictions, which was highly problematic in emergencies. To overcome these drawbacks, I chose Dualmon.

### "Best remote software by far"

July 2, 2026

5.0

I can help a customer from anywhere I have internet service, and that keeps customers loyal. I've actually been on the road and had a customer call with an urgent question. I simply pull over, pull up the app on my phone, and solve the issue.

Pros

I love that it's reasonably priced and easy to use. No complicated nonsense. I have a number of customers with this installed on their machines, making it easy to help them quickly with their issues. I also use the single-use software for customers who call in for a quick repair.

Cons

My only complaint is the lack of reminders for renewal. Otherwise, I am extremely happy with Dualmon.

### "Strong Value for IT Teams"

December 26, 2025

5.0

I also really appreciated how easy it was to add members of my team for remote access. The process is straightforward and saves a lot of time compared to other tools I’ve used, making team collaboration much simpler.

Pros

We’ve been using Dualmon for over a year now, and it has consistently impressed. The platform is noticeably easier to use than other remote‑access solutions we’ve worked with in the past, with a clean interface and straightforward setup that makes daily use effortless. On top of that, Dualmon is very competitive in pricing, offering strong value without sacrificing reliability or features. It’s been a solid, dependable tool for workflows, and we're glad we made the switch

Cons

One area that could be improved is the clarity of the toggles at the top of the viewer. They work well once you understand them, but clearer labeling or more intuitive icons would make the interface even easier for new users.

### "Easy Remote Support for Customers"

August 28, 2026

5.0

Pros

It's really easy to provide remote support to customers that are not power users. The auto generated instructions are simple for even the most basic computer user to understand.

Cons

None as of yet, it does everything I want it to do. Maybe custom domain integration so that users go to a familiar site.

We use this to remote to PC's for working on them and fixing issues, we have one person who works from home using it, she prefers it over the vpn setup.

Pros

Dual mon is easy to use, any of my users can all use it without needing any training or supervision

Cons

There aren’t any cons for any of my users or me, Dual mon does what we need to do. .

### "Remote Desktop - with DUALMON"

August 14, 2026

5.0

Assisting clients when they can not do something on their own, help them learn how to do a specific process.

Pros

You can see your desktop clear, you can zoom in , you can print at the remote computer or the one you are using. If also offers support features to remote in to assist clients like tech support. Cost is very reasonable and fair. I have been with DUALMON for over 5yrs and would not change the company for another !!!!

Cons

If you need support you must submit request, and support does respond. However, if support had live chat support that would be awesome. !

### "DualMon Remote Desktop has been a reliable and powerful tool"

April 12, 2023

5.0

The user interface was intuitive, so users picked it up fast. The setup process was straightforward, and behind the scenes. The usersdidn't have to do any configuration. The connection was stable and reliable, with minimal lag, allowing us to work seamlessly without any disruptions.

Pros

DualMon Remote Desktop has been a game-changer for me. The ability to access my desktop remotely from anywhere has given me unparalleled flexibility in my work routine. Whether I'm traveling or working from home, I can easily connect to my office computer and seamlessly continue my work as if I were physically present in the office.

Cons

I would like to be able to remote into a dual monitor computer with a dual monitor computer and utilize both screens.

### "I love the product"

September 30, 2022

5.0

We have had a great experience with dualmon. We came over from TeamViewer and had many instances where could not access remote computers with errors about server connectivity issues. At times the connection is a bit slow, but there are many reasons. It would be great to have slightly better speeds.

Pros

Very simple to use and easy to roll out on client computers. Reliable.

Cons

It would be nice if there could be both voice and text communication with customer. At times it isn't simple to use phone and get work in Dualmon. Would be nice to have a slightly better dual monitor experience. When selecting both monitors it doesn't really allow much usability.

### "Best Bang for your buck."

February 25, 2022

4.0

I'm a small independent contractor. I have an enterprise level account that lets me control up to 25 computers at a time. I like the price and the flexibility. My clients like that I can help them right away and the ease of connection means I can help anyone with an internet connection.

Pros

It is the most inexpensive remote support software on the market that is full featured. You can offer remote support on the fly and keep a large number of users permanently connected for a low amount of money. I originally used the more name brand options until they priced themselves out of the market. Dualmon offers a good base product and is constantly upgrading things that used to be missing.

Cons

Not much to say on the con side. Things they used to lack, like Mac support and recording sessions, they added and it works now. The product is actively developed and improved.

### "Saves me so many headaches"

July 10, 2024

5.0

We haven't had to use support even after a year which says something for the software. The 2FA security makes me feel better about the sign in process.

Pros

I am able to sign on to every computer at two different locations to troubleshoot and help my employees with everything from parts ordering to warranty applications. Our Point of Sale uses a VPN that won't let us sign in remotely so I also use Dualmon to sign onto a computer on site to bypass this problem. The phone app is surprisingly good although that is always for emergencies as it is harder to navigate which is only due to the phone size and not the application.

Cons

In some ways I wish that you could remember a computer and bypass the 2FA authenticator as it is a little tedious but the extra security is worth it.

### "Best assist software out there!"

November 1, 2021

5.0

It was easy to set up and it is easy to use. Customer Service is awesome. I needed some adjustments to the report of connections and they made the change within a very short time. It works awesome for me now. They really care about their customers.

Pros

It is very easy to send the connection info to my clients. It is very easy for them to get the applet installed and get me connected. It has all the features we need.

Cons

If the applet could stay installed on the client's machines and just activated when they need help, that would be awesome.

### "Easy and convenient"

October 4, 2025

5.0

Dualmon has allowed me to answer questions and make changes on business software from home or while on vacation. It gives me peace of mind that I can access my work computer as needed.

Pros

Dualmon is simple to set up and easy to use. Users don't need to download any software on their remote computer to access their work computer.

Cons

Aspects of Dualmon are challenging to use on a phone, mostly because of the screen size. I often have to reveal and hide the keyboard to move to where I need to type.

### "Dualmon Review"

March 29, 2025

5.0

Overall, we are very pleased with the product and the support.

Pros

Deployment was easy, minimal impact on user experience; get's the job done.

Cons

It's unclear how to install the product as a service (I'd expect it to be installed as a service when the setup is initiated from an admin account, or at least get a warning that despite being installed from an admin account, being run by a regular user could cause permission elevation issues) and this has some caused some issues when the user is on a non-elevated account, but we could circumvent it so far in every case.

### "Great product, great value for money"

January 30, 2025

5.0

Initially we implemented Dualmon for remote support of pc's within our own business but it has also been used to gain access to some client computers to assist them too. It was very easy to implement and manage. Even if ther more well known products dropped their prices in line, i still wouldn't switch now.

Pros

I find Dualmon to be a great remote support product, its very good value for money and has all the functions of a remote support product you could need.

Cons

The only issue i have found while using Dualmon was remote controlling a windows pc from a macbook, some of the keys don't tranfer correctly to the remote computer and i couldn't find a way around this. for example the # key.

### "Exactly what I needed"

December 11, 2024

5.0

Let’s me be in all my stores from anywhere in the world.

Pros

This software gives me exactly what I need which is access to my entire office from anywhere, all in one place. Also allows me to permit others access and I can control what access they have. Works great even for set ups with dual monitors.

Cons

I really don’t have one. I can’t say there’s something daily that bothers me. Or ever really. It’s very well done. Probably the character limit on this question on this review is the only thing that has annoyed me so far.

### "Fantastic software even for a small company!"

October 24, 2024

5.0

Pros

It is very easy to use and cost effective. I have the client set up on all the office computers and when someone needs help, I am not hunched over their computer with them to sort it out. It's not always tech support but may just be providing direction. I can log into their computer and we can talk on the phone at the same time. I wouldn't want to be without my Dualmon.

Cons

The print functionality does not have enough documentation. I still haven't figured out how it works.

### "dualmon is what we had been looking for"

April 14, 2023

5.0

Helping computer users remotely, and checking running daily routines works great.

Pros

Feature of showing which computer is online and to transfer files. Different users can be set up to have access to different computers, and we use the groups for different location computers. The search feature works so well as it searches both the name of the computer and the additional description.

Cons

I wish there was a feature where dual mon would show how long a computer has been inactive for those computers that are set up unattended, this would save so much time as of now we have to login in to see if the computer is not being used so we can gain access.

### "Exceptional Value and User-Friendly Experience with DualMon"

September 29, 2023

ve been using DualMon's RDP service for some time now, and I can't recommend it highly enough. The interface is straightforward, making it easy even for those without a tech background to get started. Compatibility is a non-issue; it works seamlessly across multiple platforms, be it Windows or Mac. One feature that stands out is the robust security options available, including two-factor authentication and end-to-end encryption. In a time where cyber threats are ever-present, this added layer of security is invaluable. The session recording feature has been a game-changer in ensuring that all remote activities are transparent and accountable. While there are other RDP solutions out there, none offer the same combination of ease-of-use, security, and valuable features at such a competitive price point.

Pros

User-friendly interface Multi-platform support (Windows, Mac, etc.) Various security options (two-factor authentication, encryption) Session recording feature in some plan

5.0

I have used TEAMVIEWER all these years and Tualmon does not fall of them. I was looking for software that would give me a solution for remote access and this software does it excellently, it will do almost everything and every time it gets better and better.

Pros

I have used TEAMVIEWER all these years and TUALMON does not fall short of them if not better. I was looking for software that would give me an answer and rise at a reasonable price and DUALMON gave me the solution big time. It has all the options that other software has and even more.

Cons

The only thing that sometimes bothers me is the response time which is sometimes a bit slow but it can also be a hardship problem of the internet
