it got me started in my IT MSP business, with affordable and reliable services, providing the majority of functions I need keeping my prices down for my customers.

Pros

Affordability: Pricing model is excellent Simplicity: It doesn't try to do everything, but what functions it does have it does well reliability: I have never experienced an outage or unavailability issues

Cons

Web-based creates significant lag. even 2 computers in the same room on a 100/50 Mbit connection is very laggy. They need to establish client-client connections after authentication to improve the experience. No Mobile support: im not supporting Mobile devices remotely yet, but all my customers have them.. File Transfer speeds: Transfering files is quite slow, probably due to the non client-Client connections.

Cons

One area that could be improved is the clarity of the toggles at the top of the viewer. They work well once you understand them, but clearer labeling or more intuitive icons would make the interface even easier for new users.

My experience with has been very good. In an era when people are pumping out 'remote access solutions', DualMon has been very beneficial for us without too much 'techy' stuff. It is easy to install and use.

Pros

Dual Mon is easy to use. There is two level authentication but it is not too fussy. There are no ads. It just seems to work!!

Cons

Sometimes, when setting us new machines, I have a hard time making sure the new User doe snot fall under my profile. It has happened in the past and I am sure it is user error but that sometimes is a pain.

easy to use and very reliable and much more affordable than most competitors. I cant recall ever having a problem with it, just login and connect to your system. has just about every feature you would need, i highly recommend

Cons

I really cant think of any negatives for the product as i already said it just works as expected, and i cant think af any downtime ever, so its also very reliable

It has been a benefit to our small company over many years. They do not change things either so I don't waste time learning their software and can just take care of our clients.

Pros

Ease of use and cost of the product compared to similar offerings. Secure access also. Not as many hoops to jump through for the same results.

Cons

There is nothing that I can think of. I do not have one hundred charactors to write about the program. It is all good with me.

Cons

Very difficult to say what I like least. I use it occasionally to access a computer that must remain on site. I think the only issue is when I logged into the on-site computer and used full screen I couldn't navigate away from it easily.

Remote file transfer seems to be dependent upon which windows account the remote computer is operting under.

We haven't had to use support even after a year which says something for the software. The 2FA security makes me feel better about the sign in process.

Pros

I am able to sign on to every computer at two different locations to troubleshoot and help my employees with everything from parts ordering to warranty applications. Our Point of Sale uses a VPN that won't let us sign in remotely so I also use to sign onto a computer on site to bypass this problem. The phone app is surprisingly good although that is always for emergencies as it is harder to navigate which is only due to the phone size and not the application.

Cons

In some ways I wish that you could remember a computer and bypass the 2FA authenticator as it is a little tedious but the extra security is worth it.

The steps from the user entering the support code to getting the application running are about as simple as you could ask.

Cons

Mac support though I accept this is an apple limitation and the remote app is simply working within the security options available.

We repair and upgrade computers, and use to configure customer machines remotely. Doing this saves engineer service time and resources for home visits.

Pros

Accessing our office computers remotely is easy to set up and works really well. The connection is solid and we are able to work as if in the office. Once connected, servicing and fixing customer computers by remote access is easy. We don't have any evident buffering, and we are able to reboot the accessed computer and re-establish the connection afterwards. The software even allows switching between dual remote monitors, which we weren't able to do using other software previously. The web portal is great and comprehensive.

Cons

Setting up a one-time connection to a customer does seem to be a little convoluted, but having said that the software does advise you where the customer is in the process. I'm not sure how this could be improved, to be fair.

We mainly use to provide remote support to customers of our software that are located in various parts of the world. It enables us to provide a service that would otherwise be impossible. It is fast and easy to connect, and it enables us to quickly resolve issues.

Pros

is so easy to use. Proving remote support to customers is so simple. I particularly like having multiple connections, which means I can connect to a customer's server and workstations simultaneously to install our software or resolve issues they may be experiencing. I can also connect to computers on our own network and work remotely.

Cons

I can't think of anything negative about .

Some of the other solutions were complex to use, while others were just too expensive. Before , we were using a product that was 10 times the cost of DualMon.

I am able to assist our cabinet shop from a distance via the internet.

Pros

The software does exactly what is needed to VPN into other online systems and performs flawlessly!

Cons

There is nothing that I least like about the product. Maybe the fact that I was using it one morning and then tried to use it in the afternoon when all it would do is pop up saying that the credit card on file was not still good. Issue was, I was not near the credit card in question; therefore, I could not do what I needed to do at the time I was trying to do it. I wish there would have been a warning on the software prior to this (even earlier that morning) so that I could have had time to correct. Maybe something like, "only 5 more uses without payment". Anything that would not have put in a delay at the time it did. Normally when I use this software, it is to fix a problem that needs immediate attention.

Let’s me be in all my stores from anywhere in the world.

Pros

This software gives me exactly what I need which is access to my entire office from anywhere, all in one place. Also allows me to permit others access and I can control what access they have. Works great even for set ups with dual monitors.

Cons

I really don’t have one. I can’t say there’s something daily that bothers me. Or ever really. It’s very well done. Probably the character limit on this question on this review is the only thing that has annoyed me so far.

Used in IT support environment. Connect nightly to remote locations to ensure backups are occurring as expected. Able to assist customers when they have problems.

Pros

Easy to use and install. Can invite other users to use the product. Can have more than one session open at the same time, saving me time with nightly tasks.

Cons

Wish two or more users could connect to a PC at the same time with different sessions. Similar to what Remote Desktop allows when used on a Windows server.

Pros

I use this service to access my office computer from home when I forget something at the office. I also use this service to bring in my computer service technicians to assist me when I am having an issue. I also have an employee in Brazil that remotes in to access my server.

I think this service is the best, and cannot think of anything that I dislike about it.

Honestly its been a great experience. The one thing I cant seem to be able to do is turn people on to using it. I know a lot of I.T. professionals and its tough to get them away from Teamviewer.

Pros

For me, the value of this product is amazing! Most remote desktop software costs a lot more, and does not give a lot for the added cost in terms of value.

Cons

I feel the file transfers could be improved, security could be improved (Additional roles to assign machines and users to), and a few additional functions could really add some value to this software (Like better screen capture, better full screen mode, and the ability to use from the web browser even when someone is using the app). Android version is NEEDED!!! There isn't one as far as I know, and I solely use android. Im actually super disappointed I cant use this from my phone. Also, linux usability!! If teamviewer supported linux and android it would be AMAZING!!

It has saved us a lot of money and made our clients very happy. Now when a remote client(more than 20 miles away) calls with an easy fix, it is done quickly (usually within 20 minutes) instead of putting them on schedule and driving there.

Pros

All features are great. Techs are quick to respond. We have both the remote access and remote assistance . Both are huge timesavers to keep from having to drive to a job.

Cons

no linux client. The double screen for 2 pc's is so small.

It could not be better. We converted those 200 computers during off hours by connecting with the other software. We installed and configured and removed the other software. And I would say it was easy.

Pros

The price. We had one the industries well known products. is 1/10 of the price and actually has more features.

Cons

The only feature I would like is the ability to save all of the passwords for our clients. We support over 200 clients and have to log into each computer on a regular basis. We spend a lot of time looking up and typing in the password to our clients computers.

Reason for choosing dualmon

Cost combined with its' ease of use. We are very pleased with this product.
