Dualmon has been incredibly reliable once setup and is usually very painless to get a remote session started.

Pros

It has a full suite of features on both Windows & MacOS end-user devices with minimal latency.

Cons

When setting up a remote session to a user's MacBook, they have to manually set the permissions for us to view their screen, and to interact with it, within their MacBook settings.

ease of use, this software gives you flexibility that team view or other software providers don't offer. You don't have to give out password on each access. It has app on ios and mac and pc.

Cons

you will have to remember password for each individual computer. if you connection is weak it will run slow that given. other than that nothing else.

It was easy to set up and it is easy to use. Customer Service is awesome. I needed some adjustments to the report of connections and they made the change within a very short time. It works awesome for me now. They really care about their customers.

Pros

It is very easy to send the connection info to my clients. It is very easy for them to get the applet installed and get me connected. It has all the features we need.

Cons

If the applet could stay installed on the client's machines and just activated when they need help, that would be awesome.

### "Great Remote Assistance and Management Tool"

We switched to DualMon after TeamViewer raised their prices to absurd heights and have never looked back. DualMon does everything we need and more without breaking the bank

Pros

We mainly use the remote assistance side of DualMon and it is great. It installs and makes connections quickly, works through most firewalls, and auto-reconnects after reboots. The assistance client will stay on the remote PC until the session is stopped by either side. This is great for longer-term projects.

Cons

The only negative thing I have to say is some customers are unsure of DualMon because they haven't heard of it, but that is quickly overcome.

This allows me to provide technical support and troubleshooting remotely without the need to run down and be right in front of the computer.

Pros

The product has been relatively easy to use and appears very robust.

Cons

One feature that I'd like to see is the ability to access a remote computer for single instances and not dedicate one of my 10-11 servers to that machine when it's a one time type of need.

The fact that I don't have to go to clients offices and they don't have to stop business to come to mine, saves a lot of time and more efficient work. When I am away from the office and the girls need trouble shooting, I can remote in and fix it, especially when I am out of state. I can also print to my computer from a client's office through Dualmon.

Pros

THE PRICE IS GREAT!! I love the fact that I can have access to all of my computers with individual passwords and just one main log in to reach them. It appears to not have a lag when working on them.

Cons

I can't think of anything negative to say about Dualmon. It has improved so much over the years. Especially adding the ability to print from another office to mine. I haven't tried it, but can files be transferred somehow?

It saves me a lot of time and gas as I can work on my friend's computer without driving 40 miles to fix their problem.

Pros

I really like the ease of use. When I need to help someone that I have never helped before it is easy to talk them through getting the assist up and running.

Cons

I wish the transfer speed could be faster. I transfer files from my computer to the church computer all the time.

I use it for remote tech support. Pretty straightforward usage. I could see it being used for training, etc.

Pros

Dualmon is a fully featured remote software product. I needed a low cost, scalable option for providing remote tech support, and it has fit the bill exquisitely.

Cons

I don't really have any complaints. Not having a mobile solution was aggravating, but that has been implemented. I would like to be able to support users phones. Not sure if that is in the pipeline or not.

Pros

The cost, security, ease of use and the list goes on!!!

Cons

The only part that is difficult is to get my customers to find the downloaded assist app so they can run it. I think it would be great if the downloaded assist app would automatically run on my customers end and all they'd have to do is say yes to run it.

Very easy to setup and use. Supports Multi monitors on the target PC. The flexibility to allocate a licence to either a specific PC (for unattended remote access) or to an Assistance Pool (for attended remote access).

Cons

There is nothing I require that the product does not provide.

Pleasant experience using Remote support for custom Short-term-rental businesses running my software. for internal accounting not Web Based. Last rental season my customers did a combined total of $40,000,000 in gross rents in the Geographic area of the New Jersey Coastline.

Pros

Ease of setting it up for individual sessions or multiple sessions; also ease of setting up remote computers for unattended use. Tech support for a couple of minor hitches was great!

Cons

That it installs as a Service & you need to know that upfront so you can unload the service upon exiting. Otherwise you leave the client computer unsecured.

Pros

We use this both internally to retrieve files as well as for remote assistance for our customer onboarding for digital marketing. Once you get them through the initial process of sharing screen, it works flawlessly.

Cons

A lot of the customers we use this service with do not have a lot of computer knowledge. download/install phase tends to be tricky for people that don't know what to look for. Not sure if there could be less steps for the customers we use this for, but that would be beneficial. Overall, for the price it is a great tool and has saved us from driving 30+ minutes for a simple task that we can remote in for.

Just the peace of mind knowing the remote software will always work and start with the computer regardless of account logged in, makes my job that much easier. In the 5 years ive used the software, its always been a solid + in my toolbelt.

Pros

Price is competitive, especially in comparison to services like Teamviewer. I've never had a problem with the remote software starting up and letting me access the remote computer, even when switching users, thats the BEST feature. Some software shuts down when switching users, this doesn't. Makes my job easy.

Cons

Whats not to like? Maybe if I had to say something, the screen resolutions supported when there are various screen sizes on either the computer I'm remoting into or the computer I'm using to remoting in with leaves something to be desired. The buttons get small when I'm using a 4k display, and when I switch from docking station to laptop it can also screw up the size of buttons. That is pretty normal for all software now so minor gripes.

I have done many searches over the years and DualMon is by far still the best and most affordable remote desktop tool out there. I can be utilized with Mac or PC, you can easily add licenses on the fly, you can send simple links for quick install, and you are on your way.

It's very affordable, easy to install, support, and roll-out for use

Because I am a small business I just wish I could add smaller license amounts on at a time.

Pros

One of the things I liked most about dualmon was its seamless multi-monitor management. The software provided intuitive tools and features to effortlessly control and customize multiple monitors from a single interface. Whether it was extending the desktop across screens, adjusting resolutions, or managing display settings, dualmon made it convenient and efficient to work with multiple monitors. The ability to create different profiles for various monitor setups was also a useful feature, allowing for quick switching between configurations.

Cons

One thing I liked least was the limited compatibility with certain monitor models. Although the software supported a wide range of monitors, there were instances where it didn't work optimally or lacked full compatibility with certain display devices. This limitation sometimes required additional troubleshooting or adjustments to ensure proper functionality across all connected monitors.

I can work anytime in a day I want and I can log in into the office computer anytime. I can also log in into multiple computers at the same time. There is no time out and I can lock people out therefore no interference from anyone.

I can this software anytime, anywhere even on my phone! It is very easy to use and work anytime in a 24 hour period. Love It! Just Love it!
