April 30, 2019 5.0 Pros We pay 2.75% processing fee when integrated with Zoho Books, Zoho Subscription or Zoho Invoice when other Zoho processors charge 2.90%. Cons They took too long to resolve a charge back. A client mistakenly reported a charge as fraudulent. When she discovered her error, she called the bank immediately to correct the problem. Although WePay is a Chase company, the client banks at Chase and we bank at Chase, it took almost a month for them to redeposit the money into our account. Review Source JG Justin G. Payments are automatically deposited in my bank account and transaction fees marked as an expense in FreshBooks, making it easy to keep track of income and expenses. Quick processing, simple interface, and makes it easy to take credit card payments. Cons The fees it charges for each transaction are pretty steep - it cuts pretty heavily into your profits. Pros The use of their website is very basic. Nothing much as far as options, settings, etc. Overall website is ok. Cons Wepay is s credit merchant service. I used them 1 time, and they caused me nothing but trouble. I have used squareup for years. I switched to save money. I invoiced q customer . 3 days after the charge I get a email from wepay saying they need my dl LLC bank statements etc. Ok fine. I sent all they asked for. 3 more days pass. I send emails asking for help. Nothing. They have no contact numbers. Just a support email no ok no responds to. 2 more days later they send an email after all my complaining that says they cant support my services and will hold my money for 30 days at least incase of chargebacks. Anyway stay clear of these guys. I would recommend it as a safe and a reliable tool. Pros It is a very simple and user friendly software to use for making payments. I have used other payments softwares and can appreciate the simplicity of WePay. Cons The percentage cost per transaction can sometimes feel a bit much. Also I have noticed that it can take a bit long for the money to be taken out of my bank account. Pros It is very secure. It has an attractive interface. It is owned by a big company, so there is always a way to get a contact. Cons It took a long time for the verification process. They have have kept my funds for about two weeks and I operate small business on first credit card charge they closed my merchant account by saying high risk of chargeback. I call this small business discrimination. They want to refund customers money and they want to hold customer money for 120 days. I am begging them to refund it to customer and they want answer Pros The only pros I would say they are already with Chase comes with your account Cons Horrible horrible customer service. Cons The think we love the least about We Pay is that they are behind with adapting ACH through Classy and we wanted to use this. I love this app because the moment i sent the payment in a couple of minutes I will be receiving the receipt and confirmation email. This makes me feel secure tht the payment went thru. June 6, 2018 5.0 Makes it very easy to collect money for fundraising Pros It was so easy to collect money through PayPal with WePay. We used it for a fundraising event at my school. Cons The only negative is the high service fee. You are charged a high percentage and when families are donating larger amounts this fee is very noticable.
