Pros: It enables our donors to give online.

Cons: Our donors are continually double charged. We have had multiple donors whose credit cards were declined in December - according to EasyTithe - but multiple charges are showing up in their statements. It took more than a day to get a response - and then only because we remained on hold for over an hour and a half. The customer service person was helpful - but not proactive. If we can tell him which donors have the issues, he can fix them. We are expected to find all of EasyTithe's mistakes? We have many donors who tried to give in December and were declined (inappropriately). We found donation (because a donor contacted us directly) that their website showed no record of. The apathy we have experienced is incredible. EasyTithe is making our year-end donor process a complete nightmare and they are inconveniencing our donors. This is highly unacceptable and we are looking for an alternative.

Pros: In that beginning it was easy to use, inexpensive, and reliable.

Cons: Bad customer service, deducting fees from bank account, some features not working, no annual statement function.

Overall: In January I checked my online portal only to discover a red warning saying we had an outstanding invoice. This was the first indication of a change in policy, and not what I originally agreed to. I notified Easytithe and told them I understand they needed to raise prices, but a notification should have been sent with fair warning. Later that month Easytithe deducted 10 dollars without my permission or notification (because, of course I had given them access to my account). Along with this, deposits are now being delayed a bit. We are a small ministry and most of our giving is through Easytithe, so I soon realized we might have problems if the charge to the account was taken out and the deposits were delayed. This morning my account was overdrawn because Easytithe's charge came out and deposits were delayed over a weekend (third month in a row where this has happened). I have had the same customer service issues others noted. Stay away from Easytithe. We will be going to another service at the end of the month.

Recommendations to other buyers: Stay away.

After looking into your account, it seems the deposits were batched within the normal 3-5 days for ACH. We did send an email about the new $10 security fee and listed the info on the invoice. Please make sure your email is current in the Admin account for these notifications. Pros: Ease of use on church app online and text give and at one time the customer service

Cons: Their customer support is really, really, really bad over the past several of months it is the worst I have dealt with you open tickets and it takes over a month with no response and when they do respond they just close the ticket without completing the request. I have had major problem after major problem from deductions from wrong accounts, not depositing correct amounts, depositing donations to accounts that are not ours, not reflecting donors contributions and a list of other issue. I have spoken with customer reps they have passed me up to a manager they said would help to expedite. there was several occasions were I waited on hold for over 3 hours, finally I reached someone. We are currently shopping for over providers

Pros: easy to use and affordable .......We went almost one year without any issues...it wasn't until we grew as a ministry and were using this program on a regular basis that we started seeing serious issues

Cons: I have had 1 major issue that only was taken care of where one of my donors were charged 8 times and I was unable to see the error on the platform so I had to call customer service 3 days later because of the weekend and holiday. Over 2 days, I waited on hold for 5 hours, finally I reached someone, they said it was only something they can see and then made it to where I could finally see the charges? I was finally able to refund the donor almost a week later. I am CURRENTLY ON HOLD NOW for another issue where money has been deducted out our account. These issues are problematic and if I can't get this issue rectified immediately, our church will have to find another company

Overall: Easy to use, affordable

Pros: The price was right and it was pretty easy to set up when we switched to EasyTithe 3 years ago. Seems to be pretty easy for the donors

Cons: Setting up Forms is not very user friendly. (though it has improved from first platform). Customer service for settlements and other issues is terrible. I have waited on for more than an hour a few times and support tickets take 7 days or more for response. Currently, they have not deposited thousands of dollars in donations made 2 weeks ago. (They have not responded to our support ticket on this)

Overall: It worked for awhile and the donors were happy 80% of the time.

Cons: I rarely write reviews...but IF you are considering using this service you need to be aware. They've had increased growth as an organization but seriously lack the infrastructure to support it. It will take several days to correct MAJOR donor-related issues. Their system has made errors in collecting double...triple and in one case 10 times one donation. Seriously! It will take them days to correct their mistakes and you'll spend hours on the phone to get a customer service representative. If you loose ONE donor...it's not worth it.

Pros: The giving software is SUPER easy to use and most of our people have completely switched over to text giving, now that we can offer it. We also love the integration with the ChMS software, though we are still working on getting our people to use it for more than child check-in.

Cons: The ChMS software has a lot of potential, but seems to still be so new that there are a lot of features that either don't work or are just convoluted. It hasn't quite reached the streamlined point, yet. We are unable to run check-in kiosks on android tablets (though it looks like someone has developed an app to run it on Apple products), and the printer software runs through Java which doesn't run on Android, so we are still limited to using a full-size computer for check in. Trying to figure out how to do things is difficult as their Help section is still VERY limited and customer service is always slow (though VERY friendly, once you actually get a hold of someone). Overall, I want to love this company, but we may still have to look into other ChMS options, simply because this one doesn't have the capacity for what we need.

Overall: Inexpensive solution that allows us to provide text giving, easy and attractive online giving, and child check-in. Needs work on check-in options, as well as integration with Android products and something better than Java to run printer application.

Cons: I am actually writing this review hoping to get attention to a customer issue. I contacted customer support 3 weeks ago and am still waiting for a resolution. I have actually only been responded to one time in which they said they were looking into the issue.

Members are getting very irritated, I have communicated that to customer support, and that doesn't seem to speed anything along. Church members waiting 3 weeks for an answer to where their money is simply won't work.

When there are no glitches, the product is convenient.

Pros: Easytithe offers many fund options. It automatically moves the monies over to our bank account which makes it so much easier than other software. I would highly recommend this software to brand new churches as well as fully established churches.

Cons: I think the biggest concern I have is the extra monthly charge we are seeing for utilizing this software. While I realize there are regulatory costs to Easytithe, I think the fee and additional amount per transaction is more than enough to cover without having to assess another amount on top of that. I do pay less using Paypal, and even though I prefer Easytithe, any savings to a church (non-profit) is a big deal.

Overall: Very easy to utilize and to access from any computer.

Pros: The customer support at Easy Tithe is hard to top! We have had great success with the online chat feature as well as the telephone support line. In addition, their site is organized and easy to maneuver.

Cons: We recently tried to create a sign up form with multiple conditional sections on it. The form was not formatting correctly, and when we contacted Easytithe support, we found that we had added too many conditional sections to the form and only one or two tops were allowed in order to prevent the form from crashing.
Small kinks like this seem to arise from time to time, but they have not been make it or break its for us. We have just had to be creative a find a way around them.

Overall: A great Christian company that offers an easy and effective way to receive funds as well as create forms and correspond with donors.

Pros: I like everything about the program so far. It meets the needs of my organization and allows us to become more efficient in our outreach. It provides the ability for us to professionally and efficiently track online giving while also establishing another level of online outreach with those whom we engage with through the service. It provides a 2nd level of opportunity to reach new potential giving partners through marketing also. The software provides opportunity to continue building our online presence and offer secure and safe convenience to our team.

Cons: Since I don't understand the thoroughness of what can be done with the reports, I will have to say that I am not sure. Based on what I have experienced so far, I am not sure it will provide me with all I would like to do in reporting information. My opinion is out on it until I can go deeper in my knowledge of reports.

Overall: We received the benefit of introducing our organization, congregation, volunteers, supporters and others to a convenient, safe, user-friendly program for financial giving that has opened the door for our church to offer quality service that provides convenience in giving that many are looking for in a church today. Secondly, it allows an excellent management and integration system to further advance our tracking and efficiency.

Pros: The online interface is great

Cons: Inconsistent processing of funds is a major problem

Overall: We have used EasyTithe for the last two+ years, and overall I appreciated the ease of setup and that it was possible to embed on our website, and was relatively happy.
The major problem we have had is with glitches in regards to the processing of money. Specifically EasyTithe doesn't submit batches of contributions to our bank account for random and indeterminate amount of days. We will receive a confirmation email from someone making a contribution, but that money won't hit our account for multiple days, so that makes tracking giving on a timely basis challenging.
Overall, I think EasyTithe could be a very effective product if they would adjust and fix this major issue.

Pros: The mediocre user interface.

Cons: Terrible customer service when asking for help resolving issues, always long waits when you call, and then they usually just say "open a support ticket." Support tickets take weeks to resolve. Their online portal is really dated. They also have their own expensive payment processing company, deceptively called "First Data Client." This is not First Data, it is an Easy Tithe owned merchant. I know this because I went to First Data to get a quote from them on payment processing, they could reduce my processing fees by 25%, I contacted easy tithe to change and they indicated that if we use our own payment processor they would still take a 1% cut of all of our donations, why you may ask? I don't know, there is no additional cost to Easy tithe to outsource merchant services, they just want your merchant processing money. This made switching over no longer viable.

Cons: Reporting for church admin is terrible. They loose money and do not get the donor information to you correctly. Terrible customer service. Do not trust your church or peoples money to them. Making a switch to another company asap. I would give them 1/2 stars if I could.

Pros: In this age everyone is mobile and do not write checks a lot. This is the right tool for your younger people who on text constantly. This is easy to set up a profile and add cc and it is very secure.

Cons: I do not see any issues with easy tithe, we had a small issue and the customer support even though the staff is VERY VERY NICE, the hold time takes forever. I think they was addressing the issue, but that is the only con.

Pros: initially I liked it for ease of use...but God forbid you have even one issue. This is the only pro of this product. Easy set up... the buck stops here with easy tithe.

Cons: When the system takes double funds from a donor. You cannot easily get it reversed.I promise no one works the phone...and neither the online chat... no one is available. Then the voice recording has the audacity to say we know your time is important to you! What! You do not know how important my time is too me... or else you would answer the phone. Purchase at your own risk and the risk of having donors get very upset because you can't tell them what's going on!

Pros: I like the name of the software. We were moving to new technology and easytithe made it easier for members to accept it. Online giving is a new concept for many people. The services offered made it easy to explain it to the congregation. Easytithe has many handouts and flyers available for distribution. As questions arise, I was able to call support services for need.
I love the quick notice of the payments submitted to our email and to bank. I love the charts to show months of giving and reports submitted.

Cons: I do not like the long wait to speak to a customer service representative.
I think the forms to encourage members to sign up need to be updated. I think it needs to be easier to print off donor statements. I think it needs to be easier and customer friendly in signing up for the app and an explanation of how the process works.

Overall: Giving info

It's great for small organizations. It's not great for managing streams of income for a church.

Pros: It's easy to set up a registration form. It's easy to setup and designate a fund. It's easy to manage registrations that come through the form.

Cons: Users complain often about technical errors occurring when trying to submit a donation. We are not able to manage offline donations with this software causing us to use multiple software systems.

Overall: Always organization to receive online donations

Started ok-customer service nonexistent now.

Pros: Ease of use-when forms and donations are working. Reports have been improved, American Express charges now show up along with other credit cards on reports which wasn't always the case.

Cons: It is virtually impossible to get anyone to answer the phone. They encourage submitting questions through their help desk, but I have yet to get any replies back. They are forcing us to look for other options, even though it will be burdensome to switch all the donors who have automatically set up donations on a recurring basis.

Pros: The cost is among the lowest (not necessarily in monthly cost, but in transaction cost) and it does the basics well - gives your church members a place to give online. Functionality has slowly improved over time. The first generation of forms was downright maddening and the new generation of forms is much nicer. The mobile app is okay. Again, it does what it needs to do.

Pros: If your looking for an online giving tool this does the job Its easy to use , they give you a link to embed on your church's website and there is a mobile app to collect donation on the phone

Cons: Their customer support has gotten really bad over the past couple of months its currently the worst i have seen out there for a US based company its actually embarrassing we send out tickets and it takes over a month with no response
and when you call in you could be on hold for over an hour with no response. we are currently shopping for over providers

Pros: We are now receiving the daily transaction emails. For some reason they stopped coming through for awhile. When I called, your staff talked me through it and we are now getting the daily transaction reports.

Cons: I would like to mail a 'thank you' letter to the donators, but can't always see their address. It would be nice to be able to just email them right from the website, to thank them. That way they are getting a thank you from the church and an email with your name and logo to remind them of possibly giving again in the future. thank you

Pros: Easy to use as an administrator. Integration with easyTithe Plus. The online forms have been extremely useful for registrations, surveys, etc. for our membership.

Cons: Having to re-record in Quickbooks because I don't see the deposit batches right away. For some reason the online givers are being duplicated. Seems they have to create a new profile ofter.

The Support team is fantastic, and the experience with the website is good. I would recommend it.

Pros: Since I used another website similar to it, it was an easy transition to easyTithe. Someone unfamiliar with it shouldn't have any problems, with the support team to back them up. It also helps with the Dashboard to easily navigate the daily giving to the church. That is the easiest part of all.

Cons: I don't really have a part of it I don't like. Sometimes when I get confused about what I'm doing, I just call support, and they straighten me out.

Overall: It helps our church membership give another way other than on Sunday Morning in the worship service. If they can't be here, are working or are out of town, they can give through the app or online, and know they haven't missed giving their tithe on time. Some even give during church on their phones. They find it easier that way. Since we started with the text giving, we've had an increase in the online giving, and that's just been within a week! So we look for there to be more text giving in the near future.

New to on line giving and easyTithe is a great convenience for our members.

Pros: It is compatible with our current church software. The End of Year Giving Statements for members were easy to compile and had no errors.

Cons: A few glitches with first year of use. A long turn-around time to speak with a representative, but better response with on line help ticket.

Overall: Increase in member giving.

Pros: Pretty easy to use for both us and our contributors. Our contributors find it simple to use to make a donation or a reoccurring donation. We like being able to offer our congregation and guests the option to donate online. Some people prefer to donate this way.

Cons: As of right now I cannot think of anything to write in the "con" section that I like least about the software. It works for us and what we need.

Pros: The website is very easy to use for the young and the old. I like how you can set up reoccurring payments which is beneficial for those of us that travel a lot.

Cons: I have had at least 2 instances when system provided issues with members. The support team was very helpful in correcting issues.

Overall: Software is very easy to use. There has been two occasions when the easyTithe had to send out emails explaining with their software. The communication emails were easy to understand and the issues were corrected quickly.

Pros: We subscribe to EasyTithe exclusively for its iPad kiosk functionality, and it works fairly well. As an app, it is generally reliable and when there have been issues, customer support has been able to help us resolve them reasonably quickly.

Cons: The user interface for admins is not very intuitive, and seems to be lacking features. In addition, the "Forms" feature appears to be no longer supported, yet still takes up prominent space on the kiosk app.

Comments: I am not a typical complainer and rarely do I post anything about any company. Here's my simple complaint about this company.... their Customer Service Support is horribly slow! I've called multiple times to have issues fixed on our Kiosks system and each time I call, I wait a minimum of 20 minutes for someone to pickup the phone. I then hang up and call sales (because they will answer immediately, they want your business) and ask that they connect me to a manager. The manager then, profusely apologizes and state how busy they are and that this is an anomaly but unfortunately, it seems to be a consistent anomaly. If you are growing as fast as you say, then you need to staff for support issues of your paying customers. PLEASE FIX THIS....!!!!!!!

Pros: The ease of use (very user friendly) and the reports - great for accounting purposes! We have recently started using text-giving which is a wonderful feature. We have quite a few users and it is a wonderful benefit to our church.

Cons: I don't know that I have found many "cons" - every time I have an issue, the customer service department has found a way to resolve it.

Overall: Makes it easy for our members to contribute to our church as well as gives them an easy way to pay for additional things such as Bible Study and child care, etc.

Pros: Our congregation reluctantly entered into on line giving, however, the setup process was quick and easy. Overall, it is simple for the end users to donate through this contribution system.

Cons: Customer service access can be extremely slow with long wait times. Once someone comes on the line, however, they will stick with you until the problem is resolved.

Overall: Slowly, but surely, getting additional members to donate has been a definite plus. We have been using the software since March 2017 and have not yet analyzed user giving patterns.

Pros: Easy to understand dashboard, and reports are organized well for end of the month reconciliation. Also nice that you can make your own tithe headings very easily.

Cons: Very hard to reach customer service-by phone or email. Also when printing reports they sometimes get cut off at the end--you have to size them down to see all info.

Pros: I like being able to sort the different giving categories by various fields, such as by donor, by giving account and by time periods such as monthly and yearly.

Cons: I personally cannot think of anything but some of the users who contact me as administrator say they have trouble updating their method of payment. Although that's probably just user error.

Overall: I get the benefit of donating to my church through a debit or credit card. I also get the benefit of tracking payments and keeping records as an administrator.

Pros: Easy to use. I can go to reports and donations and match up the donations with the bank statements. Also, when it doesn't match I can put in a discrepancy to Easytithe and they'll do the research and get me an answer a.s.a.p.

Cons: Don't like the CashLinq and Easytithe co-working together, should be one company. Using 2 companies to do the work of one seems odd. It should be one place to get answers not 2 different [places.

Overall: Reports are good. I can match them with the bank. Donors like it.

Pros: It is very easy to implement in your website and seems to be very scalable with other options such as kiosk, uses of smart phone apps and in-house tablets.

Cons: It doesn't seem to be a monthly or quarterly invoice of the break down of fees. If there is it's not easily identifiable.

Pros: It is user friendly, easy to follow and the there is never a delay in getting the reports. Our donations have increased with the recurring option.

Cons: The reports reflect the transaction prior to the deposits . However you just need to post your contributions to a couple of days prior.

Pros: The software is very user friendly, and provides all the information needed to balance our records. The instructions are easy to locate and understand.

Cons: I have had no problem with the software. easyTithe notifies customers of all scheduled maintenance, but it has never delayed our donations from being processed timely.

Overall: I can quickly locate donation information using specific criteria, which eliminates unnecessary searching.

Easy Tithe was sufficient at the time for our needs before we looked into other companies.

Pros: i could see what had come in at a glance. Their customer service always got back to me in a timely fashion.

Cons: not enough info on their forms. If there was more than one person on the deposit it did not break them down as to how much each was deposited.
The cost was too high for percentage and fees.

Overall: they were helpful in allowing people to give with a debit card or with their account. instead of writing checks.

Pros: The free version will meet most needs. We are able to collect giving via our website and text message with ease. The percentage that the company takes is small, and we are able to set up various funds and accounts simply. We can export our donor list easily.

Cons: The customer support is fairly slow. I have reached out multiple times when we have had problems, and sometimes had to follow up to get a question answered. Occasionally we have had security errors and bugs in the system that have caused us minor problems.

Overall: The price met our needs for a simple online giving portal.

Pros: I like the ease of use to implement the software on our app, the Mission website, and how easy it is to send in links on emails.

Cons: What I like least is easy tithe doesn't integrate with our church database software, Church Community Builder. Easy Tithe is better than CCB's form of receiving money, but easy tithe cannot integrate easily into other softwares.

Comments: I waited multiple times up to 30 minutes on the phone trying to reach support and had to hangup. Tickets submitted online to support through the easytithe control panel took over a week to even get a response - and a very limited response at that telling me to give them a call if I needed help. Yes! I do need help which is why I tried calling you three different times and couldn't get through!

Overall: EasyTithe is a good entry level giving platform for any church. Very easy just like the name. I love the form feature. We used that a lot. We have switched recently to a giving platform that our ChMS offers.

Pros: It is so easy to give electronically. It is quick and fast. It keeps all your giving history in one place so it is easy to gather at tax season.

Cons: There isn't any cons to the program for me. It is user friendly and you can allocate funds to different ministries.

Comments: They keep double drafting on donations and are very slow with refunds. There is essentially no customer service. Watch out for them and any of the companies owned by Cashlinq.

Pros: From the end user experience, I think it is very good. Also, the cost is comparable to others. I like having multiple levels of access - that way I can be the administrator (geek) while our financial secretary has all the access to information she needs.

Cons: The login process is terrible. I have called customer service several times but still haven't figured the problem out. Every time I log in I have to click the "forgot your password?" link. It has to do with the fact that I have a donor and admin account. A little frustrating.

We're not online, the form code still doesn't work and we are paying monthly for the free plan!

Pros: It looks genuine to the donors. This is why my client wanted to use it. They saw other churches using it.

Cons: Very limited compared to PayPal. Their form code still does not work. Even though our website is not yet online, we have to pay their high monthly fees, even for the free plan that takes a higher chunk of the donations. I would not have gone with the had others on my team not have thought it looked like a better option.

Overall: The benefit of cancelling the subscription.

Pros: It's cheaper than programs like Pushpay. Makes it possible to tithe via technology instead of old fashioned.

Cons: It's cheap and clunky. Not the slickest program for tithing but you get what you pay for. Look for something else if you want elegance.

Pros: This program has been great for allowing congregants to text to give. You can simply enter the amount and shoot it off once you have enrolled.

Cons: I don't think this company is investing in a lot of R&D for the future. If a big security update rolled out, I don't think they would be able to support the needs.

Overall: It helps our congregation tithe online.

Pros: The Easytithe software is easily integrated into our Fellowship one software and the lines items are easily noted on the bank statements as well as on Fellowship one report.

Cons: The Easy tithe report formatting is pretty basic, yet it is easy to understand and the customer service team was able to guide me to which reports I needed.

Overall: It is convenient for our contributors; however there is as every giving software a fee.
