Cons I am the bookkeeper for a very small church that was looking for an option for members who occasionally wanted to give online. I received a quote that said:PRICING $0 monthly fee / $0 Minimum / $0 startup fee / (optional $15/month for Text Giving) plus below transaction fees: Transaction fees on your donations are only: 1.99% Tiered + $0.39 Flat – Debit / Credit Cards or .75 % + $0.39 Flat Rate – ACH (e-check) Yet, 8 months in, they suddenly started charging $10 for months when there were no transactions. I tried emailing support who would give me no answers other than “there is a monthly minimum and if you don’t meet it, you are charged $10.”After I sent the quote that I had been given I was told that the agent would “research this” and get back to me. She never did, so I messaged again and got the same response as before. This company is dishonest - AVOID THEM. Pros EasyTithe is easy to download and store payment information into. It has security features as well that let's me know my payment info is safe. It also allows you to set up reoccuring payments. Pros This is an easy app to do one-time or recurring donations. To a single church. Cons Customer service is unresponsive. They do not offer the ability to donate to more than one church. This might be an unusual thing, as most people probably only have one church. I go to two churches and was going to recommend to the second church to use this tool but I am now recommending we go with another donor management tool. EasyTithe does not respond to customer service requests - they only want the churches to support customers which is not always possible...like in my case here. And I figure if they won't help me now, they will likely be just as awful to work with as a church customer. It did not get a tremendous amount of use because we are a small congregation, but it fully provided us with all we needed to make it possible for our members and friends to contribute online. Pros Easy Tithe was fairly easy for us to set up even without a lot of knowledge for this sort of thing. Easy Tithe was the first online giving platform we used and it provided us with a good product for our online church giving. Cons There was not much that we didn't like about this.
