And time is money. The efficiency gained from having the ability to auto aggregate data, saves us countless hours on end. In tandem, we're able to create customized dashboard per client, which they value tremendously. Pros Customization is wonderful. You can literally build anything you can imagine. Feature sets are vast as well. The customer support is top notch to boot. Cons There are times when data aggregation becomes inconsistent with the source. This usually stems from an API issue, and not always TapClick's fault, but can certainly be frustrating. Luckily their customer support is on point. Review Source KA Khalid A. Your dedicated success team will be great and available and there is a chat feature for quick issues or questions. Pros The nicest part about this software is that you can use spreadsheets to connect any of your raw data, as well as develop custom channels and algorithms to represent data. The flexibility to design and schedule reports allows me to concentrate on other tasks while my clients receive automated marketing performance reports. Cons There are various data restrictions (mostly on the provider side) that make very specialised reports difficult to display. Why can't I just pick the dimensions and metrics I want? Why can't I trust the data it pulls in? Pros i like how many integrations it has with other software. Cons I don't like the report export options, I don't like the way I can't trust that it pulls in accurately from my assets, I don't like how cumbersome it is to build reports that show the data I want. I don't like how I can only have one dashboard and I can't save versions of it (like from one quarter to the next) for when I'm showing special promotions, etc. I don't like how hard it is to duplicate widgets and then change the data in the duplicated version. Pros TapClicks is a great reporting and dashboard platform that supports many advertising streams. It is easy to use. Cons Linking new accounts can take 24 hours or more to populate data, it would be nice if this process was quicker. I would love to see more templates and reporting options on different data, specifically the ability to pull in audiences for display and video campaigns. December 12, 2020 4.0 TapClicks is up and coming so I expect their platform to improve, but they currently struggle with week report templates and reporting tools. Pros Lots of custom data connectors and customizable features that allow you to manipulate data. Lots of options for graphs and ways to visualize data. Cons Frequently run into bugs or data not loading. Default templates are very poorly formatted and you need to put in a lot of work to get them up to client needs. Reporting is weak. Pros I like the fact it combines all the different data sources in one place Cons There are important dimensions which are missing and at the same time so which are pretty useless but are added. I would definitely love to see imporvement where each administrator is capable of selecting the dimensions he needs as active and disable everything else. There is one particular glitch with GEO maps which always zoom out even if you target a specific country on them or they move to a different location which has nothing to do with the targeted location. We had some major issues with the Smart Connectors as well but with the help of your technical team and our success manager we managed to sort it out after month and a half. We are able to also grant our clients dashboards which allows them 24/7 access to their data. Pros The customer service is really great! If you need something it is nice that there is a number to call to get you in touch with an actual human or you have the option to email your customer support rep and they are pretty quick to respond! Pros I've used TapClicks with a few different advertising providers. It provides clear, high-level and in-depth insight into your campaigns and properties. It's probably the best end-user advertising analytics platform that I've personally used. You can see multiple channels, campaigns, and more in an easy to use interface. Cons I don't really have any complaints with the platform itself, usually the problem is more with the providers that are white labeling TapClicks and not setting up the platform properly or insufficiently. Cons Compared to things like Google Data Studio and Tableau, the visualizations are clunky, and not as customizable. There are only a few ways that data can be displayed. Filters are problematic. We have had issues with client data being exposed to other clients, and no one at Tap seemed alarmed or in a hurry to fix, meanwhile we were in breech of our client's confidentiality agreements. Pros I liked the ease of set-up. Adding each required integration was a breeze throughout my ongoing use of this product. Cons I think while the dashboards are effective and visually compelling, I wish there were ways to edit/add our own unique scripts from Power Bi or Tableau that could be used within the client facing dashboard as well. Again, getting data set up correctly to work well with TapCLicks is annoying. It stops us from using TapClicks more. Pros When it works, it works really well. But that's hard to come by Cons YOur user experience needs a lot of work. If data isn't set up in a certain way it makes it extremely difficult to use TapClicks efficiently. There are lots of little things which really hinder the performance of the program and our company wanting to continue to use TC as our business intelligence tool. Our person there has been extremely responsive, patient and helpful. They've used some of our requests and suggestions in enhancing the platform and we greatly appreciate that. Pros We love having a consistent look to all of our reports and that we don't have to do them manually once we get a client report set up. It's also flexible enough that we can make changes last minute and still not affect the overall quality of the reports we generate. We've been using it for over a year and still haven't tapped all that it can do. Cons There is a learning curve. We are using TapClicks slightly differently than I think it was intended, so setting up our initial report layouts and understanding the subtle nuances of the software took some time.
