VP Insurance Used the software for: 1-2 years ### "Excellent value and support for small and medium-sized businesses." March 14, 2018 4.0 We benefit from the simplicity of the software. The main outcome of this benefit would be time and money saved. It does exactly what we need it to do, without making things any more complicated than they need to be. Pros As a small team with 7 employees, our company was looking for a payroll solution that is easy to use, inexpensive, and backed by excellent support. Easy to use and make changes. Integrates well with BambooHR, which is important. Cons Some of the charges to update or make corrections to things are expensive. President Hospitality Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Disappointing - Horrible Interface, Problems every week" August 24, 2022 2.0 VERY DISAPPOINTING!! Had been using Paycor previously and left because their customer service was terrible. Bamboo/Trax offers good customer service, but the product itself is very weak. No one can tell me when things are improved and I'm constantly directed to submit feedback on a form. But there are no signs of things improving and no one is willing to state when the software will improve. Pros The only good thing I can say is that this is integrated with BambooHR - and that software is better than what I was using previously for HR. Cons The interface is horrible and confusing. I've been using it for 4 months and haven't had a single payroll that went forward with out a problem. Manual payrolls have to be connected to an existing paygroup, which limits their usefulness. The main page showing the payroll groups is listed alphabetically so even if you complete pay for a week that group remains at top...making it extremely confusing and easy to pay for the wrong paydate, miss a group, or process a group early. The process of adding extra pay is cumbersome - requires lots of clicks and you can't easily navigate between employees. Pros Traxpayroll is easy for implementation and integration if you are a bamboohr user. I like that you can set up payroll processes pretty quickly with minimal training Cons Sometimes the integration can be an issue when employees have not completed their onboarding so any missing payroll related details will cause the payroll system to not be able to process a payroll. HR Manager Computer Software Used the software for: Less than 6 months ### "Constant Migraines, Poor Customer Support and inflated company fees" April 27, 2021 1.0 Please save yourself the headache, anxiety, and frustration of dealing with TRAX. The reps have little to no experience and cannot provide the full support that is needed when processing payroll. They do not know their system capabilities and provide info that is inaccurate and untrue that ultimately causes companies to misprocess, miss deadlines, and be charged upward $100's of dollars for minor faults. Pros N/A. Cons There is a fee for pretty much anything outside of a narrow 3-step process. Customer Support does not know what they are talking about when you escalate to a manager, either \[SENSITIVE CONTENT HIDDEN\] hung up directly in my face as the HR Manager. They have obscured deadlines and make false promises that they cannot keep. I have escalated to the manager however I can never get a manager to call me back. This is horrible and unethical the way they treat people. I waited on the phone for 34 mins to speak to a Tier 2 representative only to have the previous rep hang up in my face when she "supposedly" transferred the call. Review Source DP Debbie P. It's simple, intuitive and most importantly, it's accurate. Love the team, customer support, helpfulness, etc. I have yet to experience any issues with them. It's very cost effective and it just works. The company also does not seem to care if you switch to another company, and there is no accountability or designated customer service manager (or equivalent) to complain to. Pros It's integration with Bamboo, even though it is not seamless. Cons It's integration with Bamboo - consistent glitches in the pulling data over. It could be the way it was initially set-up. We like how the software intregrates with our software we use. Pros This software better fit our organizational size. A plus is our employees can control where their income can be deposited. Cons When we paid quarterly taxes, we ran into issues that they caused (sorted a spreadsheet incorrectly). It took several months and talking with upper management to get it figured out.
