With that said, the issue is that they have continued to increase the price at rates above market norms without showing substantial growth in the product or support levels. Integrations are OK, but not as broad as some of the younger players. And all the newer integrations or features that they are working on are all at the top tier. So the lower tier users still get the increases, but not much to show for it. After 7+ years and almost $1,000/mo with them, there is little recognition or reason to stay. I think they may have scaled beyond the smaller MSPs.

Pros

The functionality and broad support for various brands. We started out really enjoying the product for its config backups, mapping, and remote management.

Cons

The UI improvements have been stagnant and when there is a map problem, there is often no way to fix them without contacting support.... and that is questionable.

Pros

Auvik makes it easy to see get an immediate overview of your network health while allowing you to dig deeper when needed. The alerting options are very detailed and the device configuration features can be a life saver.

Having used Auvik in previous network management setups, it proved to be one of the smoothest tools to get up and running. The learning curve is gentle compared to older enterprise options, which makes team collaboration and handoffs much easier. Aside from the higher price tag on larger device counts, the time saved on network troubleshooting and config backups made it a solid asset.

Pros

The automated network discovery and live topology mapping are easily the best features. As soon as you deploy a collector, it maps out the whole network, which saves huge amounts of manual documentation time. Automatic configuration backups for switches, firewalls, and routers give you great peace of mind. The alerting system is fast, making it easy for team members to jump in and pinpoint hardware bottlenecks or offline access points right away. There is a slight learning curve - but it's absolutely worth it in terms of network security. Patching and bug fixes are released regularly

Cons

Pricing is based on billable devices, so the subscription cost can stack up fast as your infrastructure grows. The default notification settings can also be pretty noisy right out of the box. You definitely have to spend a bit of time early on tweaking the thresholds so your inbox does not get flooded with low priority alerts.

Really well. Just when we think a feature is not there and we can't do a certain process, it is there in the next update. Continuously growing and adding which makes us feel like we are getting a full money's worth and some.

Pros

Monitoring and alerting. Recently deployed alerting on our critical servers and network gear. Integrated easily with ServiceNow and we can be more proactive on real time issues

Cons

Sometimes the support can be unhelpful. However, communication and friendliness is always there. Just sometimes it is playing roulette to get a good or bad support person.

Overall, Auvik has meaningfully improved how we deliver network management services to our clients across Malaysia. Before Auvik, network visibility was largely reactive — we were often the last to know about issues. Now we operate proactively, catching problems like interface flaps, config drift, and abnormal traffic patterns before clients even notice. The platform has helped us standardise our NOC processes across all customer sites, regardless of the complexity of the environment. It is not the cheapest tool in the MSP stack, and we do have to be selective about which customer tiers we include it in to keep pricing competitive locally. That said, the time savings in troubleshooting, the reduction in after-hours emergency calls, and the professionalism it adds to our service delivery make it a net positive investment. We would recommend it to any MSP serious about elevating their network management practice, with the caveat that you need to price your packages carefully to absorb the per-device cost model.

Pros

Auvik's automated network discovery and real-time topology mapping is genuinely impressive — it saves our team hours of manual documentation every time we onboard a new client. The moment the collector is deployed, we get a live, accurate map of the entire network including switches, routers, firewalls, and even unmanaged devices. The multi-tenant dashboard is a huge win for MSP operations, letting us monitor all customer networks from a single pane of glass without constantly switching contexts. Traffic analysis (TrafficInsights) has been invaluable for troubleshooting bandwidth complaints, and the automated config backups for network devices give us peace of mind and audit-ready documentation. Alert quality is also better than most competitors — fewer false positives means our technicians actually pay attention when something fires.

Cons

Pricing is the biggest pain point — it is billed per managed device, which can add up quickly when managing large or dense networks, making it harder to maintain healthy margins for smaller SMB clients in Malaysia where customers are more price-sensitive. The onboarding learning curve is steeper than expected for junior technicians; the UI looks clean but the underlying concepts around collectors, sites, and device tiers take time to grasp. Reporting is functional but lacks the polish and flexibility we need for professional customer-facing reports — exporting and customising report templates feels limited compared to the rest of the platform. Integration options, while growing, could be deeper particularly around PSA ticketing workflows with tools more commonly used in the Asian market.

We have been very impressed with Auvik as a product and a company. As long as we manage legacy devices we will continue to use Auvik.

Pros

Auvik works great to manage and troubleshoot our customers remote network devices. We use the config backup features and remote connectivity modules daily.

Cons

The product is pricey for managing network devices. And these days more vendors are providing their own cloud management solutions. So the usefulness of Auvik is getting less every year.

Auvik has been reliable, intuitive, and powerful tool, great visibility and automation. I’ll continue recommending it to clients and MSPs. Simply love it

Pros

I like how easy it's to set up, there's a training portal and Knowledge Base for any doubts or concerns that I have. Easy to deploy and easy to manage, support is very responsive, alerts can be customized or leave as default, how granular permission works and all the integrations it has.

Cons

There's no way to keep historic data of network devices, if a device goes offline there's no way to track where it was connected to and makes it harder to troubleshoot.

As a help desk manager/resource who has to work after hours NOC alerts just getting to the correct place in Auvik can be hard but the feature set is amazing. It has everything we need as a small company to make sure our customers stay online.

Pros

I like how Auvik can just find all network devices and suggest what they are/what they do before I tell it.

Cons

The complicated interface can be hard to learn when coming from another platform. It was complicated for me personally never using a platform quite like Auvik.

best Monitoring tool I have ever used. We currently relaying on Auvik alerts as our main monitoring source, I have been using it for almost two years, but I will never think there will be better tool for same purpose.

Pros

Easy of managing devices, the user interface is cool as you can have visibility to your network in best way. Great monitoring system, alert management, great customer support, one of the best remote access tools I have ever used especially for MSPs, as it makes very easy to add/ manage different sites.

Cons

cli integration needs more improvement, the web interface for CLI doesn't support all required feature for network engineers
