My overall experience with the software was great, and cannot really fault it. My business used this software for around 12 months while the company sold merchandise.

Pros

I like that its pretty straight forward and self explanatory. It doesn't take someone with a lot of previous inventory knowledge to pick up and start using this software from day one.

Cons

It doesn't have all the features that some alternatives softwares have.

I HAVE NO COMPLAINTS!!! Choosing has been one of the best decisions we have made. A FIVE star review thus far.

Pros

This is an amazing help to our little mom and pop store. I love all of the features although I am still in the midst of learning. It is such a great way of tracking your inventory and ensuring that your count is correct. I love how you can reconcile items with ease. It certainly is worth the cost. The team is awesome when you run into an issue.

Cons

I wish I could afford all of the features that they have to offer. I tried the AI for purchasing orders but we had too many variables from vendor to vendor. It is great if all of your vendors are similar but in our case it was hard to determine invoice discounts and other items. Love the feature but not a good fix for us.

Overall it's been incredibly positive. I've learned enough playing with it to keep myself busy but anytime I have a question, the AI is actually helpful and the Humans are a delight.

Pros

The customer service is outstanding. Being a frequent issue creator means I get to talk to them a lot! The chat is so quick and so easy, sometimes I pop in just to say "Hi!"

Cons

It's not tailored to books sales and doesn't handle card processing. If it were tied to Ingram reporting and databases, it would be a game changer for us. Thrive would become our permanent inventory solution instead of a temporary one.

Booklog license renewal was prohibitively expensive. Then I got caught in a scam card processing lease through Clover. Clover inventory management is trash. Thankfully they offer Thrive through 3rd party subscription plan and Thrive has been refreshing to use since using Clover.

Overall, it's been great. I've been a long time customer (9 years now), and they've always answered all my questions and been so helpful navigating through any points of confusion I may have had.

Pros

I love the reorder process for all my po's. I used to spend hours getting them all sent out, and now with their automatic reorder points and par levels, I can have all po's sent off to my vendors in 30 mins or less!

Cons

I didn't like the multiple steps required to make a case of something. For example, if i sell a 12 pack case of energy drinks, to get those to properly deduct the right case qtys as single cans are sold, it requires quite a few steps and sometimes confusing math.

Overall, I'm happy with Thrive. We get the data and reporting we want and we only occasionally have problems that can't be fixed immediately.

Pros

Thrive has prompt, friendly customer support! I'm usually able to resolve occasional problems right away.

Cons

Sometimes our products don't load in our catalog, which can be hard for work. But usually, a quick refresh or a browser restart helps.

Pros

They are the best inventory app out there! clover recently raised prices and i cancelled thrive to give other apps a try 3 weeks later and I'm back with thrive

Cons

I wish the second integration was part of the $59 dollar plan I don't need all the features of the standard plan. all I need is to sync with clover and my shopify store.

I have absolutely loved Thrive. It handles a complex inventory of our smoke shop but the main thing I have loved the most is the customer service. Every rep has taken time to help and dive into every issue I have had. Unlike so many other apps I've encountered.

Pros

Customer service and user-friendly software. Training, onboarding, inventory setup everything was very easy.

Cons

Some reporting could be better but really no cons for me. Some of the pricing could be a little more competitive.

Pros

you just changed my world... next thing I will be learning is bundles... after years of working with clover and getting no help. we can finally sell things correctly. we have been taking a loss on by the pound sales for years by rounding down in the customers favor because we couldn't sell units correctly

There are still a couple of bugs with clover. And some missing integrations I don't see attributes anywhere but I may be wrong

When we signed up for the Clover POS it was under the guise of being an all-in-one for our business. That has proven to NOT be the case. Shopventory has seamlessly filled in the gaps Clover has. The bundling of products and superb inventory management/tracking. If you're finding that you aren't getting enough data, can't do what you need to do to track your stock, or other basic business functions, chances are Shopventory can help. We're halfway through the trial period and there are no questions that have been left unanswered, no system issues they haven't been able to help with, their customer service is ABOVE AND BEYOND anything I could have imagined. I wish I could give more than 5 stars, they deserve the sky. We will 100% be purchasing a subscription and will not consider it to be wasted money at all. They truly are the best companion for this Clover setup. Many mahalos!

Pros

The ease of use, customer service support and response rate and quality.

Cons

If there were an option to calculate the freight and taxes into our purchase order item costs it would be perfect. But that's a minute issue we are already familiar with dealing with.

Clover had a lack of stock keeping functions, bundling options, Vendor management, purchase order integrations, refunded items return to inventory etc. Basic business functions were left un-managed through the Clover system and Shopventory picked up and took off with functionality easier than I could have asked for.

I have for some time use the same girl to help me. Thought that might be an anomaly but after chatting with a different girl realize that you guys are incredible. Arguably the best customer service in the industry.

Pros

That it is a person and not a pre-programmed bot. Having the ability to speak or chat with someone is incredibly comforting.

Cons

There are no cons. As long as you have a real human working out our problems as retailers or customers. We are good.

Pros

I like the fact that the supporting team of techs are cordial, friendly and supportive no matter what I ask. I appreciate their speedy and complete response to some of my most outlandish questions. Every member of the team has been great in helping us get through the hurdles of inventory management and in helping us become experts as well. Thanks to the entire team supporting us here at Wigs Beauty Plus and Wig & Beauty.

Cons

There are some shortcomings that make our job a little cumbersome but are not show-stoppers. I think the bulk upload can be refined to freeze header frames when displaying products.

Pros

The customer service I think is the best feature. They are pretty responsive and pretty friendly.

Cons

I wish there was a bit more options/features for bulk import/export and updates. If you have a lot of products, those options are the best. Also, wish the woocommerce integration was a bit better with more dynamic controls.

We also appreciate the ease of the chat function when we need help and assistance with any problems. the knowledgeable staff has helped on multiple occasions - not only during the on boarding process. Just the thought of knowing that we don't have to manually track our inventory manually anymore is a relief! We had been doing that for a few years, then as our inventory increased it got more difficult. Knowing that Shopventory is working behind the scenes has been a load off of my mind and our Finance department as well!

Pros

The ease of use for inventory management and tracking. Also integrations with 3rd party programs so we don't have to manually track our inventory anymore has been a HUGE relief!

Cons

It would be helpful if there was an option on the Dashboard to view sales and inventory changes for longer than just a month. And to have it set that way, not to retract to the defaults of to the current day.

Cons

Inventory management is what I use it for primarily. When running Dead Inventory reports, it seems to take a long time to generate.

### "Pretty Good Product with Great Customer Service"

Pros

I needed something to help me track my inventory better that also integrated with my Square POS and Shopventory did the trick. It was kind of difficult to set up but the customer support was amazing and they helped me every step of the way. I probably took at least 2+ hours of their time just to help me set up a free trial account. The main reason I signed up for it was to get functionality that wasn't present in square such as setting COGS. Overall I am happy but hope to see some feature improvements in the future.

Cons

A few drawbacks which make Shopventory difficult to use: No mobile app. This is a pretty painful pill to swallow to be honest. As a small business owner, often times I can only go shopping for ingredients when I have some spare time. Having the ability to check stock levels in real on my phone while i'm shopping would be a huge win. Currently, I try to login to their website on my phone but it isn't even mobile friendly which can be quite frustrating at times. After speaking with support it's also clear this isn't even on the horizon. Upsell quickbooks integration: Not a huge fan of paid SaaS products that lock out features for an additional fee. Quickbooks integration will cost you an extra, which DOUBLES the price of the product. If it's already been developed, why not just include it into the subscription? There's nothing I hate more than feeling like I'm being nickel and dimed. Overall I will continue to use this product as I have already set it up, but it's likely I will look for something in the future that has a mobile app as that functionality is just too important for me at the moment.

Shopventory has allowed us to stock more of what sells well, less of what doesn't, and not reorder dead product. Overall we have increased sales and decreased inventory. With several time consuming tasks now automated we are spending less on payroll maintaining the inventory.

Pros

Shopventory was good when it came out, and keeps getting better. They are always adding new features and reports without having to upgrade. In the beginning I was concerned that an "App" would not be able to handle our inventory in real time. After several years I can say that it easily handles thousands of titles of sheet music, and emails me daily titles needing to be reordered. We have since moved all the inventory from QuickBooks to Shopventory. Noteworthy today - they have GREAT customer service!

Cons

There really are no Cons! It works, and it's uptime is very close to 100%.

Pros

I like being able to bulk upload new products and being able to modify existing products at once. It saves a lot of time!

Cons

Words have to be spelled out exactly in order to find them in the system. Also, the inventory doesn't sync with Clover automatically. Sometimes it takes a while.

### "Top of the line company"

In a retail situation, the inventory is what the business revolves around. This program is the best and easiest to use. I have tried a few. Their Support Team is the best. They go out of their way to help you solve a problem is it can be solved. However, users do make not smart moves sometimes. Some of these cannot be recovered from. I had a problem with SKU's last week, their tech support went in and helped me reset all my SKU's to something that was valid. No one stops until a problem is solved.

Pros

The software is easy to use. A lot of features are being upgraded on a regular basis. Seems there is a way to do whatever you want to accomplish. If it is a feature that would benefit a many of their clients, they upgrade as soon as they can.

Cons

Not much really. Every so often, I find something I would like that it doesn't have. However with the help of their Top Notch Support Team, we can usually find a way around to get what I need. You are also dealing with someone in the United States. No language barrier.
