The Prevue assessments are refreshingly straightforward — they get right to the point. You don't have to sit through a course just to understand what the results mean, like you do with other assessments. It's intuitive from day one. Cons While I love the flexibility of being able to run multiple report types, the one drawback is that there's currently no way to combine them into a single, unified report. They go above and beyond and I'm extremely satisfied with the services my company has received. I don't think we'll ever go to anyone else. Pros The assessments are pretty accurate. I have had an easy time learning the system and can easily control the system. My client success representative, \[sensitive content hidden\] , is amazing and goes above and beyond. I can customize profiles for each job I'm hiring for and can also utilize existing employees tests to generate a profile for a role I'm looking to hire for. I also don't have to pay for each assessment, but instead pay a flat rate for the product for the year. It's perfect and I love it. Cons There are some assessments that I'm not the biggest fan of. There's one that is a bit too black and white for my tastes, but it's not a deal breaker because I'm not forced to use it. It's as good of a tool for evaluating new hires as I've seen yet. Cons I suppose it would be nice if the custom skills tests were easier to customize, but at the same time I understand why it is set up that way. I generally don't have much to complain about. Pros Compared to other providers the value for the money and the customer support are wonderful. The test creation and customization based on your industry positions and goals give you a greater piece of mind when evaluating candidates. Cons We have our assessments integrated with UKG recruiting, I wish there was a way to allow the assessment to go out again tied to the application as some applicants do not take the assessment right way. Having to send it send a new assessment through the site does not allow it to tie to the application. Review Source R Reviewer Marketing Assistant Used the software for: 1-3 years ### "Entreflow Consulting Group's use of Prevue" April 22, 2019 5.0 This app is really good for anybody who's hiring, this is the tool that you would use to conduct some foreshadowing, where you can figure out what might be some challenges in the future, or figure out some really strong skills that a person has that they might be short selling themselves on. Pros There's a lot that we love; Prevue is a psychometric testing app that you can use to test any new candidates, and as well your existing team. The best feature is that you can actually create your own benchmarking that is very specific to the role that you're hiring. Some of their other top features are that it's a reasonably short survey, so it's not something that's going to throw off candidates if they have to sit and spend a whole hour doing a test, it's quite quick to get through. They have their own standard benchmarking within the tool, but you can create your own and you can get your team to do it and create a benchmark based off of what your team is looking for. What’s really cool about this is that if you take something like an accountant role, if you were to take the standard benchmarking, your typical accountant might be a little bit more self-focused in their work and they might not be collaborating with other team members as much. Most accountants, people typically think are not as client facing, or independent workers. However, for Entreflow our accountants need to be client facing, they need to be well-versed with technology, and they also need to work collaboratively in a team. So we are able to create a benchmark for our instance of an accountant; what we want to have for an accountant versus what a typical accountant role might look like. Cons I don't think we actually have any. This app does what it needs to do, it's really easy to use. From an implementation perspective it's easy peasy so you actually get a dedicated implementation team that helps you to get it all set up and then as well that it helps you with the benchmarking if you need it. It serves as a great tool to determine personality fit with potential department co-workers and overall fit for each position. Even simpler, it is a great way to see if candidates will invest the time/energy past a simple job application, thus a way to weed out those who are not truly interested in your company. Pros Very thorough information that helps we prepare interview questions. 9 times out of 10, when I share (segments) of their results, candidates comment that the assessment is "spot on." Also - Prevue assigns a representative who is happy to assist with questions/needs. So many vendors these days expect you to email their Customer Support so I appreciate the personal touch, even though I am often too busy to meet with him! But he offers! Cons Occasionally, one segment will contradict another; however the suggested questions help to dig further. Pros I love that Prevue Assessments not only test a candidate's ability/personality, but also helps us weed out candidates that may not be serious about the position. We've sent the assessment to countless candidates who then never complete the assessment, weeding out those who may not be serious about the position. It's given us a benchmark for hiring and has helped us save time by not interviewing applicants who might not be a good fit. Cons I don't feel like Prevue is easy to navigate from the admin side, until you've had someone walk you through how to use it. It's not intuitive without further explanation. The platform is very easy to use and the reports are easy to interpret. I like the updated interface of Prevue and find it easier to navigate. The support has also been fantastic, from initial onboarding to the ongoing support and check ins. Cons The corporate planning and development reports are insightful for senior leadership, but can be a little overwhelming for managers to interpret or put to good use.
